NEFIS (North East Forum for International Solidarity) is organizing a candle march in solidarity with three women raped by army personnel in Karbi Anglong district of Assam. No police action has been taken in the case yet as the army officers have legal immunity under the Armed Forces Special Power Act(AFSPA). We request yo to send a correspondent and photographer to cover the event.
