We Will Beat the AKP's Arrest Terror! Turkey - Antimperialist Front

 

Since September the fascism of AKP has put into force a policy of attack which directly aims at the People's Front. This attack which is based on the confession of an informant traitor by the name of Berk Ercan, has led to arrest of nearly 130 of our comrades until today.

 

Anti-Imperialist Front's workers Cansu Güneş Seferoğlu and Lerzan Caner, and People's Law Office's worker Aytaç Ünsal and who carried the great work of the Turkish revolutionary struggle abroad, all over the world, were made prisoners. Their crimes are “great“: attending and providing support for the arranging of the Symposium of the People's Unity Against the Imperialist Aggression “Eyup Baş“  which has been organised in the past 7 years and became a tradition. The fascism makes it appear as if an activity in which progressive, patriotic and revolutionary individuals and organisations from all over the world participate for years, is a crime. At the same time, our friend Okan Özer who has put great labour in arranging this year's Symposium, has been taken prisoner as well with this fact in mind. Again this year, Grup Yorum member Betül Varan and the student of the Justice School Naim Eminoğlu who went to Democratic People's Republic of Korea to provide support them, have been also taken prisoners.

 

The AKP is saying: “You will not organise. You will not resist. You will not ask for bread, justice, independence and democracy.“ As for us, we say: “We will organise. We will resist. We will continue our struggle for bread and justice, for independence and democracy!“

 

Our call for all members of the Anti-Imperialist Front, progressive, patriotic and revolutionary organisations and individuals: wherever you are, protect our friends Cansu Güneş Seferoğlu, Lerzan Caner, Aytaç Ünsal, Betül Varan and Naim Eminoğlu from the attacks of the AKP fascism! Expose the Turkish fascism! Increase the number of the requests to set our friends free! Organise the activities and actions within this scope!

 

With Cansu Güneş Seferoğlu, Lerzan Caner, Aytaç Ünsal, Betül Varan and Naim Eminoğlu, for all revolutionary prisoners we are saying that:

to be an anti-imperialist is not a crime, it's an honour;

to be an internationalist, to act with solidarity with the people's of the world is not a crime, it's an honour;

revolutionism is not a crime, it's an honour;

Freedom for Cansu Güneş Seferoğlu, Lerzan Caner, Aytaç Ünsal, Betül Varan, Naim Eminoğlu and all revolutionary prisoners!
