On 28/8/18 and the day followed, the reactionary system of US-neocolony, India made arrest of national intellectuals poet
Varvara Rao, human rights activist-lawyer Sudha Vardbaz, Arun Ferrera, Vermon Gonsalvez, Goutam Noyalakha, Father
Stan Shami, Dalit social activist Sudhir Dolwale and his lawyer Surendra
Gudling, social activist Mahesh Rout, Shoma Sen and others from their residences
in different states according to news agency, Mumbai in connection with a
program held in Pune on 31 Dec'2017. Above mentioned are accused of creating
agitation with provocative speeches that caused the heinous racist event in Vima
Koregaon in the occasion of bicentenary celebration of British-Maratha war on
Jan 1, 2018. It is to be mentioned that the
fight really occurred between the Dalits and
the Marathi where the Dalits had a
cooperation of the British.
The force of the new-democratic movement in India is being
thus oppressed with a so-called 'Unlawful Activities Prevention Act' (UAPA).
Under this act the state-terror is conspiring to detain the arrested for an
indefinite period without producing them in front of justice. We condemn these
naked fascist activities of Indian govt. We express our solidarity with the
people in India in protestation against these arrests and solidarity with the
people's force that is on it's way to make the new-democratic revolution a
success.
