Revolutionary faction of Maoists recapture land owned by party lawmaker!
KATHMANDU, DEC 03 -
UCPN (Maoist) cadres close to party Vice Chairman Mohan Baidya have recaptured the land of a Maoist lawmaker in Bara district. 22 Bigas of land registered in the name of Maoist lawmaker Padma Jyoti was seized 10 years ago. But Maoists Deputy In-charge of Bara district Ranjit Patel said that the land captured again by putting the party flag on it as Jyoti was trying to sell it to Hama Steel Industries.
The land is currently being used by local farmers for sugarcane farming.
