Baidhya wants CA dissolved for people’s revolt
LALITPUR: Chairman of CPN-Maoist Mohan Baidhya has said only people’s revolution could bring transformation in society, so the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) must be dissolved to pave the way for a people’s revolution. Speaking at an interaction organizsed here on the occasion of the 120th birth anniversary of Mao Tse-tung, Chairman Baidhya said UCPN-Maoist leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s doublespeak was an example of neo-revisionism.
Dahal, according to leader Baidhya, initially negated CA on rigging reason, but is now yearning for forming the CA. CPN-Maoist Spokesperson Pampha Bhushal said, “Present CA can’t bring the pro-people constitution, so we call for its immediate dissolution.” Similarly, central member of the party Dinesh Sharma argued that as leader Dahal hurried to enter the peace process at a time when the people’s revolution was at a decisive mode, its achievements could not be institutionalised.
