Maoist
Communist Party Manipur (MCPM) Tuesday alleged that whereabouts of its general
secretary comrade Chingranglen Meitei remained untraceable since he was whisked
away allegedly by suspected Indian security personnel. A statement of the outfit
signed by its publicity and propaganda secretary Nonglen Meitei alleged that the
general secretary was picked up by security force personnel who came in two
vehicles, speaking both Hindi and Manipuri.
However,
the statement failed to give details regarding the date and from where the
general secretary was picked, but alleged that the security personnel
intercepted him while contacting with other members of the outfit along with two
other members. The two members who companied the general secretary managed to
escape, it added.
