To Become Newroz Against The Unjust Wars!

On the Newroz of the Year 2026 we face with the rising of the attacks of the imperialist and regional reactionary forces against the oppressed nations, ethnics and believes in our geography.

The military aggressions from US imperialism and Israeli Zionism against the reactionary Iranian Molla-Regime, means new massacres, oppression, destruction and forcefully displacement for the Peoples of the region in the Geography of the Middle East. While the reactionary Iranian Regime is answering the aggressions, the bill of this unjust war is paid foremost by the People of the Middle East, as well as by the international Proletariat and the Peoples of the World through more exploitation, hunger, poverty and death.

They want to normalize the fact, that ten thousands of people get massacred, millions of people are forced to leave their places and to live in hunger and poverty, to permit a handful of rich ones to continue to intensify the exploitation of the people, to live a luxury and comfortable life and to add benefit to their profit.

The imperialist capitalist system wants to fix their crisis through new unjust wars, occupations and plunder.

The competition between imperialist monopoles on the market and the intensifying contradictions signs the preparation for a new imperialist war of partition.

In the actual context in which fast preparation for the 3rd  imperialist war of partition is done, the imperialist capitalist system means for the humanity nothing else than a rising of death, destruction, hunger and poverty. The lords of the world, the todays Dehak Despots are imposing “new Gazzas” to the humanity, the working class, the oppressed laborer people and the todays blacksmith Kawas. To be able to reach its goal, the imperialist capitalist system tries to disarm and liquidate all kind of resisting forces that are in opposition to them. This is the reason for a lot of politics, like the deathly aggressions on the Peoples War leaded by the communist parties in India and the Philippines, the liquidation of the Palestinian national movement and the pulling of a force like the Kurdish national movement into acceptable borders. It is right in place to say, that the lords of the world want “a garden without thorns”.

Under these circumstances, in which the imperialists and the regional reactionary forces are imposing the unjust wars on the oppressed nations, the working class and the People, it is necessary to organize ourselves and join the ranks of the People’s Army and trough this to take place in and raise the flag of the just wars against a new imperialist war of partition. The fire of resistance that blacksmith Kawa lightened against the Despot Dehak, is today’s struggles, uprising and serhildans of the oppressed nations, different ethnics and beliefs against US imperialism, Israeli Zionism and Turkish republic fascism.

Workers, that are killed at work and that are condemned to work more and more everyday but by the end of the month earn a miserable salary;

Women, which are killed over and over, whose invisible labor is exploited and that face sexist, national and religious oppression;

To the LGBTI+, who face hate crimes, whose existence is ignored and who are shown as a threat to family and society;

To the youth, whose future is stolen, whose right of education and home are taken from them, who are exploited under the name of MESEM and apprenticeship and are killed at work;

To the Alevites, whose even existence as a belief is not accepted and who face assimilation;

To the Kurdish nation foremost, as well as to all our People of different ethnics, whose existence as nation is not accepted, that face oppression, assimilation and massacres;

Join the ranks of the People’s Army that is holding the flag of our just war!

Raise the flag of the just war against the unjust wars!

Spark the fire of resistance from the blacksmith Kawa against the Dehak Despots!

Newroz Pîroz Be!

We therefore demand proper judicial inquiry into the cause of death of Mr. Prashant Bose. -

03.04.2026

As per reports in news media, we came to know that senior political activist Mr. Prashant Bose lodged in Birsa Munda Central Jail, Ranchi, has died today in Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences located in Ranchi.Though he was an octogenarian political prisoner, and was having serious health issues, his bail was not granted by the court. We all know that prisons in India barely have any medical facility for its inmates. So death of prisoners in judicial custody is a regular occurrence in India.

We therefore demand proper judicial inquiry into the cause of death of Mr. Prashant Bose.

28 march - China - Statement CPLCP - Long live the great Communist Party of India (Maoist)!

Since January 2024, the Indian state has launched a large-scale military operation codenamed "Operation Kagar" in central India. The operation has deployed 60,000 paramilitary personnel, with air power, drones and armoured vehicles in use. It constitutes an all-out offensive strategy by the Narendra Modi regime against the Indian revolutionary movement and its leading core, the Communist Party of India (Maoist). Its core objectives are to eliminate the CPI (Maoist) and forcibly expel the Adivasi indigenous peoples from their ancestral lands, clearing the way for more mining companies to enter the region.

Even in the face of relentless encirclement and suppression, betrayal, and enormous sacrifices, we have witnessed our Indian comrades persist in their resistance struggle. Despite unprecedented intra-party line struggles and treachery by renegades, the sacrifices of great revolutionary leaders like Comrades Basavaraj and Siddaiah, as well as countless ordinary revolutionaries such as Comrade Renuka (Lotus), must never be slandered. The betrayal of Zhang Guotao in no way diminishes the greatness of the Communist Party of China led by Chairman Mao.

Over the more than ten years since Modi came to power, his domestic policies have included forcibly promoting a single language, suppressing local tribes and cultures, advancing agricultural capitalization, and pushing for industrial and infrastructure development. However, India’s domestic energy industry is insufficient, meaning that industrial expansion has only widened its energy gap. Domestically, his fascist dictatorship has intensified repression of revolutionary movements, triggering drastic changes in India’s social structure. Although Modi’s fascist regime has suppressed waves of popular movements, social contradictions have only grown more acute. For a country already like a tinderbox, India’s fragile economic structure ensures that any external shock will set off an intense internal conflagration.

The chaos in the Middle East has derailed India’s economic growth "good news."In the weeks before the US and Israeli attack on Iran, officials in New Delhi were in a celebratory mood. Yet in little more than a month, India’s manufacturing activity plummeted to its lowest level in nearly four and a half years .This starkly exposes the fragility of an underdeveloped, highly externally dependent economy like India’s.

Since our organization's inception, we have steadfastly regarded upholding the great glory of Maoism and liberating the oppressed and exploited people as our mission. This is the birthplace of Maoism and the former center of the international communist movement. We support all Marxists, Leninists, and Maoists who fight for the liberation of the oppressed and exploited people. On behalf of our more than one hundred regional representatives, one thousand peripheral members, and many more potential members, we pay tribute to the great Indian Revolution. We have consistently paid close attention to the development of the Indian Revolution and have always used its progress as a case study for our members, combining it with Maoist theory. We have realized that the Indian revolutionaries, with their long revolutionary history, will surely overcome all obstacles, and Naxal's spring thunder will surely ignite a great India.

Long live the invincible Marxism-Leninism-Maoism!

Long live the great Communist Party of India (Maoist)!

Long live the great Indian revolutionary people!

Against Operation Kagar: Stop Operation Kagar! - TKP-ML

Banner Hung in Hamburg

On 31 March in Hamburg, a banner was hung by TKP-ML militants in protest against Operation Kagar being carried out in India.

The militants who hung the banner in Hamburg stated that they had done so in opposition to the “Kagar Operation”, highlighting the counter-revolutionary aggression directed against Maoists in India.

The statement noted that since January 2024, the Indian state has been conducting military operations under the name “Kagaar Operation” against Adivasi communities, peasants and activists, and highlighted that during this period, civilians have been displaced, and arrests and acts of violence have taken place.

The statement further noted that the operations were directed against the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and its armed wing, the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA). It was stated that clashes had intensified in 2025 and that some organisation leaders had lost their lives.

Protest in Zurich Against the ‘Kagaar Operation’

An international solidarity protest was held in Zurich against the Kagaar Operation targeting the Adivasi people and revolutionaries in India.

On Saturday 28 March, a solidarity protest against the Kagaar Operation targeting the Adivasi people and revolutionaries in India was held in the Swiss city of Zurich. Participants carried photographs of the leaders of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army and paid tribute to their comrades.

A banner bearing the signatures of the TKP-ML, featuring the images of communist leaders İbrahim Kaypakkaya, Jose Maria Sison, Abimael Guzman (Gonzalo) and Nambala Keshava Rao, was unfurled during the demonstration.

TKP-ML Militants Unfurled Banners in Duisburg in Protest Against the Kagaar Operation

TKP-ML militants have unfurled banners in protest against the attacks being carried out by the fascist Indian state, under the leadership of the Modi government, against the indigenous people and the Communist Party of India (Maoist) under the guise of the “Kagaar Operation”.

In their statement, TKP-ML militants said, “The operation being carried out under the name ‘Kagaar Operation’ is continuing with the support the fascist Modi government receives from imperialists. Many imperialist powers, primarily the US and the UK, are supporting the fascist Indian state. Drawing strength from this support, the fascist Modi government has intensified its attacks, declaring, ‘We will wipe out the Maoists by the end of March.’ In these attacks, hundreds of people from the local population and Maoist forces have been massacred. However, the Indian Maoists are, on the one hand, fighting against the fascist siege, whilst on the other hand taking a stand against the betrayal taking place. We know that the Indian Maoists will continue along the line of resistance demonstrated by General Secretary Basavaraju.

The fascist Modi government’s declaration that it would ‘wrap things up by the end of March’ has been interpreted by MLM forces worldwide as a call for international solidarity with the struggle waged by the HKP(M), and is being turned into a demonstration of solidarity. We, as TKP-ML militants in Duisburg, have hung a banner bearing the slogan “Stop Operation Kagaar! International Solidarity with the People’s War in India” in English, in an area frequented by workers and labourers. Through this modest action, we sought to be the voice of our comrades,” they said.

The Indian people and their revolutionary movement will emerge victorious against Operation Kagaar - Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP

March 28, 2026

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), the New People’s Army (NPA), and the entire revolutionary movement in the Philippines express unequivocal solidarity with the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the People’s Liberation Guerilla Army (PLGA). We stand with the people of India and their revolutionary forces as they frustrate “Operation Kagaar” and the Narendra Modi regime’s desperate war to crush the people’s war in India. As its end of March self-imposed deadline approaches, the regime has resorted to more brutal tactics of suppression. We join various international parties and forces in today’s March 28 International Call to Action, initiated by the International Committee to Support the People’s War in India (ICSPWI).

Since January 2024, the Indian state has waged Operation Kagaar (the “Final War”) against its own people. Thousands of military, paramilitary, and mercenary forces have been deployed, primarily in Central India, to crush the people’s resistance. By establishing hundreds of new military camps within forest and mountain communities, the state aimed to suppress the people’s struggle.

Operation Kagaar is a campaign of state terror against the people of India, against Adivasis, and organized forces who dare to oppose oppression. It specifically targets the leadership of the CPI (Maoist) while flagrantly violating international humanitarian law and the rules of war. These operations ignore the special protections guaranteed to vulnerable sectors in areas of armed conflict.

In just over two years, nearly 700 revolutionary leaders and Adivasi people have been killed in a series of massacres and summary executions. Thousands more have fallen victim to illegal arrests on trumped-up charges, abductions, and systemic harassment. The Modi regime has further intensified its coercive “surrender and reintegration” campaign, forcing civilians among the Adivasis to collaborate or face escalating military abuse.

These attacks paved the way for corporate plunder. Since this war intensified, corporations have rushed to seize and destroy thousands of acres of land, rivers, and forests to satisfy an insatiable greed for profit.

The Communist Party of the Philippines and the revolutionary movement in the Philippines trusts that the CPI (Maoist), the PLGA, and the Indian people will overcome the wave of fascist suppression and emerge victorious. So long as exploitation persists, the people will resist.

This campaign of suppression mirrors the US-directed fascist tactics employed against the Filipino people people for decades under various regimes up to the current US-Marcos regime. The Indian and Filipino people both exemplify courage in fighting terrorism and oppression, ready to face all difficulties and make the necessary sacrifices. The valiant resistance of the Indian people and revolutionary forces inspire the Filipino people to wage armed struggle with even greater ardour.

Amid a world being shaken by wars ignited, instigated or supported by imperialists, it is imperative that the Indian people and the Filipino people to unite and advance their struggles for national freedom and democracy. The liberation of our countries from imperialist oppression and domination would serve as an invaluable contribution to the global struggle against imperialism and for freedom and socialism.

As the Filipino people commemorate the 57th anniversary of the NPA this March 29, we stand in revolutionary solidarity with our comrades of the CPI (Maoist) and the PLGA, honoring their unwavering resistance.

Mabuhay kayo, mga kasama!

End the Operation Kagaar in India!
Defend indigenous land in India and the Philippines!
Fight destructive mining in India and the Philippines!
Marcos and Modi, fascist-terrorists!
Down with Imperialism!
Long live the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army of India and the New People’s Army!
Long live the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the Communist Party of the Philippines!

28th march Lêgerîn Britain Committee Stop Operation Kagar

In the forests of central India a war is being waged against the indigenous and Adivasi people.

For years the ruling Modi BJP government has been strangling the peoples of India between two hands. In the one hand is the intense Hindu fascism and nationalism that is trageting the rich diversity of peoples, languages and religions in India. Targeting in particular the Muslim population and seeking to create a homogeneous Hindu nation-state and a strict caste hierarchy. In the other hand is a vicious corporate capitalism, with heads of corporations working closely and openly with the government to open up the land to extract raw materials for industry, as well as exploit or erase the populations who live there. All of this to continue to expand the profits of a small number corporations, and to continue the desire of the Indian state to become a global power. The cost to the people and the land has been bloody.

Right now this is manifesting in the violent repression of Operation Kagar specifically targeting indigenous people and maoist resistance.

On this Global Day of Action we call on all resisting and democratic youth to recognise the struggle taking place in the forests of India and make it part of our internationalist action and conciousness.

What is Operation Kagar?

Operation Kagar is a military “security” operation waged by the Indian state that claims to be targeting the Maoist movement, known as the Naxalites. Operation Kagar is not something new, but is the latest in a series of many military operations aimed at “crushing Naxalism” in India. However, the deeper intentions of the operation are to remove the indigenous Adivasi peoples who have lived in the jungles of central India for thousands of years, and open their lands to mining and industrial operations for the big corporations such as Adani, Tata and Vedanta.

The forests of central India in Bastar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana have long been the homeland of a rich diversity of peoples, languages and cultures; the Gond, Khoya, Bhatra amongst many others that make up the Adavasi communities

RFS - Red salutes to comrade Kishanda

Comrade Prashant Bose alias Comrade Kishanda, a member of the Central Committee and Political Bureau of the CPI (Maoist) and former General Secretary of MCCI, passed away at 6 am today. On November the 12th in 2021, the firm comrade and his comrade Sheela Marandi were arrested on their way to seek medical treatment. Since then, they have been in jail for a long time. In this situation, Comrade Kishanda’s bail application and even the minimum democratic right to medical treatment have been repeatedly rejected. The comrade has been practically institutionally murdered. On the one hand, the State is trying to eliminate the tribal and Maoist leadership by using armed forces in the name of fascist Operation Kagaar. On the other hand, the jailed comrades are being deprived of their right to medical treatment and are being pushed to their death.

On behalf of the Revolutionary Students’ Front (RSF), we are paying our humble respects and millions of red salutes to Comrade Kishanda. We demand the immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners. Along with that, we demand that political prisoners be given proper treatment and protection of their democratic rights. The government and the State must take responsibility for the death of every political prisoner including Prashant Bose, Stan Swami, Pandu Narote, GN Saibaba. The Revolutionary Students’ Front is calling on all progressive, democratic, left-wing organizations and individuals to build a larger militant mass movement demanding an end to the genocidal Operation Kagaar and demanding the protection of the democratic rights of all political prisoners in jail and their immediate and unconditional release.

CASR STRONGLY CONDEMNS THE CUSTODIAL MURDER OF POLITICAL PRISONER PRASHANT BOSE

The Campaign Against State Repression (CASR) strongly condemns the custodial death of octogenarian political prisoner Prashant Bose, who passed away on 3rd April at RIMS Hospital, Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Prashant Bose had been an undertrial political prisoner since November 2021, when he was arrested along with his life partner, Sheela Marandi. During more than four years of incarceration, his health severely deteriorated due to age-related ailments and lack of proper medical care.RIMS superintendent Dr Hiren Birua stated, “The patient was suffering from various age-related diseases. Recently, orthopaedic, neurology, ENT, medicine and nephrology specialists had visited him in jail. He was brought to RIMS early morning”. He was also undergoing treatment at the jail hospital. At the time of his arrest, he was already unwell and reportedly on his way to seek medical treatment, yet he was taken into custody and imprisoned without adequate care.

Prolonged Incarceration and Denial of Bail
Following his arrest, multiple cases were filed against him by the NIA and various state police agencies across Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal. Later on In the same case, journalist Rupesh Kumar Singh was arrested in July 2022. Despite serious health concerns, the bail applications of Prashant Bose, Sheela Marandi, and Rupesh Kumar Singh were rejected by the Ranchi High Court in December 2023, prolonging their incarceration under harsh conditions.

Medical Negligence and Prison Conditions
CASR holds that the death of Prashant Bose is a direct result of gross medical negligence and the deplorable conditions in Indian prisons. He was lodged in Birsa Munda Central Jail, Ranchi—historically associated with the incarceration of the great Adivasi leader Birsa Munda.
Today, the same prison continues to confine individuals fighting for Adivasi rights over jal, jangal, and jamin, while failing to ensure even basic healthcare.

A Pattern of Custodial Killings
The custodial death of Prashant Bose is not an isolated incident. It reflects a continuing pattern of systemic neglect and institutional violence against political prisoners. The deaths of Stan Swamy, Pandu Narote, and Kanchan Nanaware in custody stand as stark reminders of how prolonged incarceration and denial of medical care have been used as tools of repression.

Institutional Responsibility
CASR asserts that such custodial deaths are not merely the failure of jail authorities. They are the outcome of a systemic nexus involving the police, investigative agencies, and the judiciary. When individuals are under judicial custody, the judiciary bears equal responsibility to ensure their right to life, dignity, and healthcare. The continued denial of bail and medical care in such cases raises serious concerns about institutional accountability.

Serious Concerns for Other Political Prisoners
CASR expresses deep concern over the deteriorating health conditions of other political prisoners. Co-accused Sheela Marandi is reportedly critically ill, while Rupesh Kumar Singh is facing severe mental stress and health issues due to prolonged incarceration.

Our Demands
CASR demands:

– A high-level, independent judicial inquiry into the custodial death of Prashant Bose.
– Immediate and adequate medical treatment for all prisoners across jails.
– Urgent release of all prisoners suffering from severe and life-threatening medical conditions.

Appeal to Democratic and Progressive Forces
CASR calls upon all democratic rights organisations, civil liberties groups, people’s movements, trade unions, student and youth organisations, and progressive individuals across the country to raise their voices against the custodial murder of Prashant Bose. We urge all concerned citizens to stand in solidarity with political prisoners and resist the systematic use of incarceration as a tool to silence dissent. This is not just about one individual—it is about defending democratic rights, civil liberties, and the fundamental right to life and dignity.

CASR strongly condemns this systematic and institutionalised violence against political prisoners and reiterates its commitment to fight against all forms of state repression.

Immediately Stop the Genocide on Maoists and Tribals in India in the name of 'Operation Kagar'! Bangla Desh

As long as exploitation, oppression, and injustice exist, the rebellion of the people and the just war—the People's War—will continue!

No military campaign of the exploiter class, including 'Kagar', can extinguish the invincible People's War of the exploited!

Struggling Masses,

Since 2024, the Hindutva fascist Modi government of India has launched an all-out war titled "Operation Kagar" with the aim of uprooting the Maoist movement. Numerous revolutionaries, including Comrade Basavaraj, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Maoist), have been murdered in cold blood under the guise of fake encounters. While nearly 700 citizens have fallen victim to these killings, India's so-called democratic constitution and "independent" judiciary remain silent! In this unjust war, thousands of farmers and working-class tribal people (Adivasis) have been imprisoned, and countless people have been evicted from their homes and turned into refugees. This war by the exploiter-ruling class against the exploited people of its own country has unmasked not only the Indian state but also the United Nations and all imperialist looter groups, including the US, China, Russia, and the European Union.

Struggling Friends, Revolutionary war is a protracted war. Occupation and re-occupation, attack and retreat, growth and setback, establishing bases and their destruction by enemy attacks—all are parts of a protracted People's War. The historic Long March led by Comrade Mao Zedong teaches us this lesson. Being cornered or facing extreme disaster in one or more battles does not mean losing the entire war. Those who believe that war brings only repeated victories are not actually revolutionaries. Those who are intimidated and confused today by the roars of the people's enemies due to the apparent retreat and military setbacks of the Indian revolutionary movement in the Kagar war—and think the Maoist movement will end—are not revolutionaries, but opportunists.

As Comrade Lenin taught revolutionaries:

"One step forward, two steps back... It happens in the lives of individuals, and it happens in the history of nations and in the development of parties. To entertain even a moment’s doubt about the inevitable and complete victory of the principles of revolutionary Social-Democracy, of proletarian organization, and of Party discipline would be criminal cowardice." (V.I. Lenin, One Step Forward, Two Steps Back)

Struggling Masses,

Operation Kagar is not merely a military suppression campaign. 'Modani' Fascism (Modi and Adani) is continuing Operation Kagar in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, and adjacent Maoist-influenced regions to loot the vast mineral resources and hand over the land to imperialist and domestic corporate companies. This is a desperate attempt to eliminate the dream and struggle of building a new world of Socialism-Communism through imperialist collusion. While military attacks are carried out on one hand, a psychological war campaign is conducted on the other. Calls for surrender and the abandonment of war are being made by utilizing the defeated elements of the two-line struggle within the Maoist party. Consequently, during this time, we must expose and oppose this unjust war with even greater firmness.

Struggling Friends, The history of rebellion in the Indian subcontinent is a history of armed struggle. The anti-British struggle progressed through repeated ups and downs. One hundred years after the defeat of the Sepoy Mutiny in 1857, the British were forced to leave Indian soil. In the interim, through the sacrifices of countless people, including Bhagat Singh and Masterda Surya Sen, mass rebellions forced the British to quit this land.

Although the revolutionary rebellion in Telangana was defeated due to the betrayal of the leadership, the great Naxalbari movement was organized within 20 years. When the Naxalbari movement was temporarily defeated by intense state repression, the Maoist movement spread across India again after another twenty years—from Andhra-Telangana to Bihar-Jharkhand. At the beginning of this century, it created the embryo of a new revolutionary state in Dandakaranya and Bihar-Jharkhand. This took the Indian revolutionary communist movement to new heights, enriching revolutionaries with new experiences and providing lessons for future state-building. Simultaneously, it showed the way toward creative actions for building centers of New Democratic power in different countries. The Janatana Sarkar (People’s Government) in Dandakaranya provided practical proof of how people's power, rather than the power of an army or a party, is practiced.

Even then, the base areas of Dandakaranya-Bihar-Jharkhand could not reach the threshold of seizing nationwide power beyond their historical limitations. At a certain point, they have become temporarily devastated today due to the suppression by the enemy state. But the history of social development reminds us that as long as class inequality exists, class struggle will continue. Inevitably, this class struggle will develop to its highest level and turn into war—into a People's War under the leadership of revolutionaries. The history of India, with its overthrow of oppressive forces through armed resistance, bears witness to this. Therefore, Operation Kagar, or any operation by any other name, cannot suppress the Maoist movement in India. As long as exploitation exists, revolutionary movements and revolutions will exist.

Struggling Friends,

Taking advantage of temporary military disasters, centrists like Mallaraji Reddy or Tippiri Thirupati Devuji, and neo-revisionists like Sonu-Satish, are today questioning the revolutionary path. They are abandoning the revolutionary path of people's liberation and seeking shelter with the enemies of the people. They will inevitably be thrown into the dustbin of history, just as Vinod Mishra and his associates were.

On the other hand, thousands of martyred Maoist comrades, including Comrade Basavaraj, Comrade Hidma, Comrade Renuka, Comrade Chalapathi, and Comrade Analdas, fought to the death against the enemy and became martyrs. They did not surrender their guns to the enemy for a single moment to save their own lives. They were the flag-bearers of the struggle until their last breath, clinging to the revolutionary path of People's War. Many comrades remain steadfast in that central line of the CPI (Maoist).

In world history, all revolutionary movements have developed through many disasters. Whenever the Indian revolutionary movement has been devastated, it has returned with double the strength. Therefore, even if some central leaders of the Indian Maoist party surrender, this movement will not end. The successors of Comrade Basavaraj have spread today. Their revolutionary successors are scattered across the country.

The infallible law of revolutionary movements is that they do not succeed in a straight line, but through development along the zigzag path of success and disaster. Following the disaster of the Naxalbari movement, the Maoist movement across India developed to the next height by learning from its positive review. Likewise, by learning from today’s disaster and the experience of the Dandakaranya base area, the Maoist movement will evolve to an even higher level.

As Comrade Lenin taught:

"Those Communists are doomed who imagine that it is possible to finish such an epoch-making undertaking... without making mistakes, without retreats, without repeated alterations to what is unfinished or wrongly done... But those Communists are not doomed (and in all probability will not perish) who do not allow themselves to be captivated by any illusions, who do not give way to despondency, and who preserve the strength and flexibility of their bodies to 'begin from the beginning' over and over again in approaching an extremely difficult task." (V.I. Lenin, Notes of a Publicist)

Struggling Masses,

Just as this revolutionary movement under Maoist leadership is a movement for the liberation of the exploited and oppressed people, including the workers and peasants of India, its goal is also the liberation of the exploited and oppressed people of the whole world. That is why the enemies of the people and the corporate class of India and the entire world have united to carry out genocide against the Maoist and tribal people through Operation Kagar.

Therefore, it is the responsibility of the exploited and oppressed people of Bangladesh to show solidarity with the exploited and oppressed people of the whole world, including India, against the Maoist and tribal genocide—Operation Kagar. Let us, therefore, immediately raise our voices in protest and build resistance against the Maoist and tribal genocide in India in the name of Operation Kagar!

28th march -Solidarity Campaign against Operation Kagaar in Austria

extraits of a report published by Die Rote Fahne – Austria.

From March the 23rd to 31st, an international solidarity campaign called out by the Indian organization FACAM (India: FACAM appeal for international solidarity) took place. Under the slogan “Stop Operation Kagaar – Support the Revolution in India!”, activities were developed against the Indian state’s campaign of annihilation.

Rally against “Operation Kagaar”

As part of an international show of solidarity, a rally took place on Vienna’s Mariahilfer Straße, where various organizations spoke out strongly against Operation Kagaar and Austria’s cooperation with the Hindu-fascist Modi regime. Also present was the “Anti-Imperialist League” (AIL), an international anti-imperialist organization whose founding is to take place shortly.

Event and lecture

As part of the campaign, an event was held that focused more closely on the genocidal Operation Kagaar. The organization FACAM (Forum against Corporatization and Militarization) from India and its work were also presented.

ILPS and 28th march AGAINST oPERATION KAGAR

On March 28, ILPS members took to the streets in India, the Philippines, the US, the UK, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, and many other countries to join the global day of action to Stop Operation Kagaar. The bloodthirsty campaign by the fascist Modi regime has been waging all-out war against indigenous Adivasi communities, peasants, and the revolutionary movement as it clears the way for imperialist mining interests in India. The people of the world declared their militant solidarity with the toiling masses of India through mass action on this day.

long live I Maoist Politburo leader Comrade Prashanth Bose (Kishan da)

CPI Maoist Politburo leader Comrade Prashanth Bose (Kishan da) departs who represented the last of the first-generation Naxalite cadres who joined the movement when it broke out in 1967 and sacrificed the very last drop of their blood for the sake of liberation of the people

Comrade Prashant Bose alias Kishan Da, a legendary communist leader, member of the CPI (Maoist) Central Committee Polit Bureau, who fought relentlessly till his last breath for the liberation of oppressed communities for decades and for the establishment of a working-class state, expired on April 3, 2026 while in jail custody in Ranchi, Jharkhand. He was under treatment at RIMS Hospital, Ranchi for respiratory problems. and perished while getting it. His death was not a natural one but a custodial murder.

Bose represented the last of the first-generation Naxalite cadres who joined the movement when it broke out in 1967 and continued to play a leading role in evolving the Naxalite movement in its new shape. He has been a member of the politburo, central committee and central military commission of the Communist Party of India (Maoist), better known as the CPI(Maoist), since its formation in 2004.

Bose, who was lodged in Seraikela Jail, complained of severe breathing difficulties early Friday morning. Around 6 a.m., he was rushed under tight security to the RIMS, where a team of doctors began treatment. However, his condition failed to improve, and he was declared dead at around 10 a.m. on Friday.

Bose was arrested in Jharkhand on the morning of Friday, November 12,2021 after eluding the police and special forces for 43 years. Bose was arrested along with his wife, Sheela Marandi, alias Shobha Di, who is the first woman to be a member of the CPI(Maoist) central committee. She has been out of jail on bail since February, 2016.They were arrested from a car along with three other youths while returning from Parasnath. They were caught before crossing the toll .

Bose was also one of the fabricated named in the Pune police’s chargesheet in the Elgar Parishad case. The police had claimed that a document they had allegedly obtained from fellow accused Rona Wilson had mentioned Bose by name in connection with a “conspiracy to kill the Prime Minister”. He is one of the five accused mentioned in the chargesheet still absconding custody, along with Maoist leaders Dipak, alias Milind Teltumbade; Prakash, alias Rituparn Goswami; comrade Deepu and comrade Manglu.

Trademark features of Comrade Kishan Da

Bose stood amongst the last leaders in the party’s hierarchy who had first-hand experience of rebuilding or resurrecting the party’s organisation from setbacks or adversity; in several crucial junctures over the past five decades.

As an intellectual he used his intelligence not for his own benefits, but establishing the new democratic revolution in this country. He forfeited a lucrative life, inhabiting the dense wilderness, living among the people suffering from extreme poverty.

Tenacity, intelligence and creativity characterised his qualities. His political journey symbolised an unwavering battle against any kind of revisionism and even when facing the darkest adversity, he resurrected the party and mass movements to remain afloat. His leadership infused discipline in the party ranks and enabled the Maoist Communist Centre to wage to sow the seeds for building red army and waging amongst the most heroic armed actions ever witnessed in history of Indian revolutionary movement. He played a pivotal role in nurturing the collective discipline and preserving the central core of the party. Kishan Da’s leadership was instrumental in intensifying not only the striking capacity of the masses but striking the balance between armed actions and mass movements, like those led by the Krantikari Kisan Commiteees. Most tenaciously he withstood the revisionist winds to hit them at their hardest point.

Comrade Prashanth Bose's writings and tactics that he wrote concerning the oppression and looting of rulers have played a pivotal part in guiding countless revolutionaries. At the age of over seventy years, even though plagued by illness between the walls of the prison, the flame of revolution in his heart has never evaporated, but flashed to the very last.

Such leaders who sacrificed the very last drop of their blood for the sake of liberation of the people and for the liberation of the country are rarely witnessed in history.

new info- Long live comrade Prashant Bose (Kishenda) - the people's heros are immortals!

Com. Prashant Bose (Kishenda), the seniormost leader of the CPI (Maoist), and a political prisoner, died in prison today. His partner, Com. Sheela Marandi remains in prison.

Ranchi District, April 3, 2026: Communist Party of India (Maoist) Politburo member and political prisoner Prashant Bose, alias Kishan Da, died Friday, after a prolonged illness, at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi District, Ranchi Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rakesh Ranjan announced to the press today.

Prashant Bose was imprisoned at the Birsa Munda Central Jail in Ranchi District for the past four years, along with his wife Sheela Marandi and other aides, having been arrested by the Jharkhand Police in November 2021. Bose was a member of the Politburo, Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Maoist Party at the time of his arrest, according to the SSP.

“He was admitted to the RIMS for age-related illness and died earlier today,” the SSP was quoted as saying to the press, adding that Prashant Bose’s exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained.

A West Bengal native, Bose was one of the founding members of the Maoist Communist Centre of India (MCCI) in the 1970s. In 2004, the MCCI merged with the CPI (ML) People’s War Group, which was active in Andhra Pradesh, among other southern states, to form the CPI (Maoist). At the time of his arrest in November 2021, Bose was secretary of the Maoist Party’s Central Regional Bureau, which includes states such as Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal and Odisha, the SSP stated in his report.

Prashant Bose’s successor Misir Besra, who is believed to be leading the Maoist Party’s Eastern Regional Bureau, continues to elude the police and security forces, the SSP told the press.

Prashant Bose, along with his wife and aides, namely Birendra Hansda and Raju Tudu of Giridih District, and Krishna Bahada and Gurucharan Bodra of West Singhbhum District, were arrested by the Seraikela Kharsawan District Police on November 12, 2021, based on intelligence inputs about the movement of leading Maoist cadres from Giridih District towards the Saranda forests in West Singhbhum District, the SSP declared in his remarks to the press, adding that shortly after their arrest, they were transferred to the Birsa Munda Central Jail in Ranchi District, and the others continue to be lodged there since.

Prashant Bose was considered a key ideologue and strategist within the CPI (Maoist), with influence over operations across Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, and parts of Odisha. He played a significant role in expanding the Maoist Party’s network and maintaining its leadership structure over the years, the SSP stated to the press, adding that Bose had been underground for decades and was one of the most wanted Maoist leaders in the country.

Following his arrest, Prashant Bose was charged by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in 2023, having been alleged by police to be the mastermind of more than 100 incidents of attack and arson in several states, including Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra, the SSP said in conclusion.
