Hands off Sebastiano Lamera! If they hit one, they hit all!
We must point out a new serious episode of repression, which is not the only one and is certainly part of the campaign of state repression that this government is waging against proletarian struggles of all kinds and types and against the movements that oppose its policy on all levels - and we all know how committed we are on this front too - which has affected one of our comrades. The "expulsion order" taken by the Police Commissioner of the province of Milan against Sebastiano Lamera of Bergamo. This attack must be dealt with within the logic "if they affect one, they affect all".
Sebastiano Lamera, factory delegate of the Slai Cobas at Dalmine, has always been a recognized avant-garde in the demonstrations of all kinds that are held in Bergamo or Milan, both in the various sectors of the workplaces and in the streets and, in particular, Sebastiano is very committed to Saturdays of solidarity with Palestine to which he and his workers and his comrades never are absent.
The Police Commissioner of Milan has established for Sebastiano, precisely because he wants to hit this activity that Sebastiano does and is recognized by the proletarian movement, the revolutionary movement and the Palestinian movement, a repressive measure consisting of the "expulsion order" with the prohibition of Sebastiano's presence in the Municipality of Milan, with the clear intent of preventing him both from conducting trade union activity, given that Sebastiano, as head of the Slai Cobas of the territory, follows various workers' disputes also in the Milan area, as well as clearly in the Bergamo area, and above all to prevent him from participating and assuming the vanguard role that is recognized in the demonstrations of Saturdays in the streets in solidarity with Palestine that take place in Milan. And the pretext is even more serious because it is not formally for the role he had and for the activities that Sebastiano carried out in these demonstrations, but for the events that took place on April 25th.
On April 25th, as everyone knows, there was the demonstration for April 25th combined with the demonstration of solidarity with Palestine, and it is clear that in Piazza Duomo there were moments of tension and clash against the Jewish brigade, the operational arm in the camp of our movement, protected on this occasion by parliamentary parties and false anti-fascists.
Sebastiano and his comrades, of course, together with many others, the several hundred comrades who in Piazza Duomo contested this presence, and contested that these spoke from the stage, they challenged those who allowed him to do so. And in this situation, there were moments of tension with the police.
It is very serious that the bourgeois State has instead used this legitimate protest to hit Sebastiano himself with a formulation that says: "on April 25 in this capital the traditional demonstration called for the Liberation Day was held in which a large number of demonstrators took part during which there were riots due to the non-compliance with the provisions aimed at maintaining order and public safety by some participants, as well as because of the insults, discriminatory insults - which is completely false - that some adherents of the Palestinian cause have addressed to the group of about 300 people belonging to the Left for Israel and Jewish Brigades movements".
There was no "discriminatory matrix" in the protest against these peoples, but a just denunciation of the genocide underway in Palestine by the Zionist Nazi State of Israel that the Left for Israel/Jewish Brigades in particular support, denying the genocidal character of the operation underway in Palestine and the sectarian and Zionist character of the action of the State of Israel. So, this premise about the reasons for this protest is false.
The provision of the Police Commissioner of Milan continues: "as part of the aforementioned demonstration, Lamera Sebastiano was referred in a state of freedom to the competent Judicial Authority by the staff of the local Digos for the crime of resistance to a public official, aggravated by having committed the act during a demonstration in a public place and with the use of dangerous objects. In particular, in this square a large group of demonstrators managed to remove the barriers delimiting the stage set up for the oratorical interventions inside, thus making it necessary to deploy the public force in order to avert the emergency of serious disorders. During these phases, Lamera Sebastiano hit an agent of the mobile department of the State Police with a long rod".
The description of the fact made by the Milan Police Headquarters is specious and deliberately persecutory, certainly not an "objective" description, but aimed at hitting Sebastiano. In fact, the Police Headquarters in establishing "Sebastiano's precedents" makes a list of initiatives that testify only to the activity, the participation of Sebastiano, as a regional representative of the Slai Cobas, in the struggles of workers in Bergamo. The list includes several initiatives, but let's consider one: "On 18th June 2021 he was referred in a state of freedom to the competent judicial authority by staff of the Digos of Bergamo for violation of the provisions on meetings in a public place or open to the public and private violence, since in the Municipality of Calcio (Bergamo), at the Italtrans logistics hub in Spa, as a representative of the trade unions called Si.Cobas and Slai Cobas, gave rise to an unauthorized demonstration, coordinating another 50 demonstrators. In particular, he stayed on the access lanes to the plant, generating great inconvenience to the motorway road network. Following the arrival of the police, he sat on the ground together with demonstrators, forming a human cordon". So it is evident that in reality the police headquarters of Milan wants to hit in general the activity of Sebastiano of the Slai Cobas and not only of the Slai Cobas - the inapposite quote that is written here: "representative of the organizations both Si.Cobas and Slai Cobas" has the purpose of hitting one to hit all the others.
For this reason, in denouncing this measure and in activating all legal procedures to reject it, we reiterate that we intend to campaign, we appeal to all trade unions and political organisations and the whole movement of solidarity with Palestine, the Palestinian organisations themselves, to rally around our comrade, to reject this repression and to mobilize in all forms for the revocation of this measure which evidently has the purpose of being a first measure aimed at preventing the political, trade union and internationalist solidarity activity not only of Sebastiano, but of the entire workers' organization and the political organization of which Sebastiano is a part.

Con Sebastiano Lamera dall'ex Ilva di Taranto
A Sebastiano, a cui la questura con un "foglio di via" vuole impedire di partecipare, fare attività sindacale e politica a Milano, soprattutto di essere, come in tutti questi mesi, parte attiva delle manifestazioni per la Palestina.
Da un operaio ex Ilva: "Tanto per cambiare lo Stato (tramite un suo devoto rappresentante) non lesina ad utilizzare tutta la sua forza repressiva verso un suo cittadino. Invece di esserne un suo rappresentante se ne fa suo carnefice, agisce in maniera alessitimica tale da sfociare in una incurante ferocia.
Questo però non resta senza conseguenze, le masse non sono vegetali che non hanno alcuna reazione alle violenze che le vengono inflitte, le reazioni sono realtà, una dimostrazione su tutte sono le proteste avvenute in Iran dopo l'omicidio di Mahsa Amini per mano della polizia da sempre serva (se c'è una cosa che accomuna tutte le polizie del mondo è proprio il servilismo che le contraddistingue), nonostante la feroce repressione della macchina statale, perpetrata attraverso i suoi fedelissimi cani da guardia, le proteste non si sono fermate.
Così come non finirà in un nulla di fatto il provvedimento nei tuoi confronti.
Sempre al fianco dei compagni, contro ogni ordine di stampo borghese. Sino a che esisterà la borghesia ci sarà sempre il proletariato; sino a quando non verranno cancellate dalla faccia della Terra le classi le lotte non avranno mai fine.

Forte solidarietà al delegato sindacale di fabbrica e compagno di lotta Slai Cobas sc, Sebastiano Lamera, colpito dalla repressione per avere sempre con grande coerenza sostenuto la lotta dei popoli oppressi come il popolo palestinese. Sebastiano ha ricevuto un provvedimento di "foglio di via", cioè gli viene impedito di andare a Milano la citta cuore della lotta delle comunità palestinesi da mesi e mesi contro il genocidio messo in atto da Israele.
Se toccano uno toccano tutti, giù le mani da Sebastiano! Chi lotta da sempre in difesa dei diritti dei lavoratori, degli operai, contro le morti sul lavoro, contro la guerra imperialista, a sostegno dei popoli oppressi non è un criminale.
Il provvedimento repressivo contro Sebastiano rientra nella più ampia azione repressiva moderno fascista che il governo attuale Meloni vuole imporre sempre più a tutti coloro che lottano contro le ingiustizie sociali e in difesa di diritti basilari.

Lavoratori e lavoratrici Slai cobas di Taranto
Denunciamo il grave atto di repressione che ha colpito un nostro compagno, operaio della Tenaris Dalmine, responsabile dello Slai cobas a Bergamo/Milano, Sebastiano Lamera, in tutti questi mesi molto attivo nelle manifestazioni dei sabati a Milano per la Palestina - e colpito proprio per questo.
Questo compagno è stato a Taranto in alcune occasioni di iniziative di lotta, di assemblee, e in particolare alle portinerie dell'ex Ilva, portando con la sua presenza e interventi il legame che c'è e che deve crescere sempre più tra le avanguardie operaie per essere forti contro padroni e governi.
Sebastiano è tornato recentemente in Puglia per partecipare attivamente alla manifestazione contro il G7 di Fasano, insieme a una delegazione di giovani operai immigrati di Bergamo; dal palco alla conclusione del corteo, Sebastiano ha lanciato un forte appello come proletari ad unirci ed elevare la lotta contro questo sistema di miseria, sfruttamento, guerra, repressione.
Facciamo appello anche a Taranto, in primis ai lavoratori, lavoratrici, agli operai dell'ex Ilva e appalto, ai compagni e compagne dei movimenti di lotta e in particolare a tutti coloro che si stanno mobilitando per la Palestina ad esprimere la loro solidarietà a Sebastiano, e a chiedere la revoca del provvedimento di "foglio di via" da Milano.

Vogliamo esprimere la nostra solidarietà al compagno Sebastiano Lamera, che per la sua attività sindacale, è stato sottoposto al divieto di vivere e svolgere la propria attività nel Comune di Milano. Per chi, come noi, è vissuto fino ad ora nelle garanzie che la Costituzione attribuisce a tutti i cittadini del territorio italiano, è inconcepibile che si tolga ad una persona il diritto di vivere e lavorare dove vuole. Il “confino” lo concepiamo solo nel caso di svolgimento di attività criminali, e considerare l’attività sindacale come una cosa “scomoda” è concepibile solo da un Governo con scarso senso di cosa sia la democrazia.

Il coordinamento Palestina Taranto e provincia manda la propria solidarietà al compagno Sebastiano Lamera, operaio della Dalmine.
Lo abbiamo visto pochi giorni fa nella manifestazione a Fasano contro il G7 e abbiamo sentito il suo intervento forte a nome degli operai, lavoratori immigrati contro padroni e governo.
Denunciamo questa nuova repressione del governo, Ministero degli Interni che vuole colpire oggi soprattutto i solidali con la Palestina; e il foglio di via a Sebastiano vuole impedire proprio la sua continua partecipazione attiva alle manifestazioni in sostegno alla Palestina che si tengono a Milano nei sabati.
Siamo con Sebastiano Lamera e con tutti i palestinesi, i compagni/e che lottano contro il genocidio di Israele.
