India - against false propaganda MODI's REGIME

‘Dead’ Maoist commanders issue statement refuting claims of their killing
Two commanders of Maoists’ People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA), who were declared “shot dead” in Sukma encounter last month, have issued a press statement refuting police claims about the encounter and claimed that both of them are “safe and healthy”. “We are absolutely fine and healthy. We are working with the revolutionary public in Sukma as usual. Neither of us were injured nor dead in Pidmed encounter (in Sukma) last month,” said PLGA Battalion No.1 commander Situ and Konta area committee secretary Arjun in a joint press statement.
Chhattisgarh police’s Anti Naxal Operations (ANO) unit had paraded a “surrendered Maoist” Sodi Rama last month at a press conference in Raipur and claimed to have killed Situ and Arjun in an encounter in Pidmed village of Sukma on April 11. Seven STF men were killed in the encounter and police claimed to have killed “30 to 35 Maoists”, including Situ and Arjun. “False claims are being made by the police and the government that a large number of Maoists were killed in Pidmed on April 11. The fact is that none of us died in the encounter. All our comrades and leaders are safe and are working with the revolutionary public,” claimed the Maoist commanders.
The rebel duo pointed out that the “false propaganda” by Chhattisgarh police was to lift the morale of its personnel posted in Bastar, who are taking “severe beatings” at the hands of the PLGA. “Many police jawans do not want to serve in Bastar. They are being lured into the job with the promises of promotions and medals. They are being sent here to die at the hands of PLGA,” added Situ and Arjun. The Maoist commanders denied that “surrendered Maoist” Sodi Rama was a member of Maoist organisation.

“We don’t know who Sodi Rama is. He was never a member of our militia or commander of any PLGA unit. It’s a plot against us by Bastar police and state BJP government by arresting a common civilian and forcing him to pose as a Maoist,” claimed the Maoist leaders , both of whom are active in Konta area of Sukma and play a vital role in Maoists’ battalion headed by emerging Maoist leader Hidma. Terming the government and police propaganda on Maoists’ surrender as fake, the rebel duo appealed to the people not to get distracted by it and keep supporting the revolutionary cause
