Statement of the ILPS for Palestinian Land Day

ILPS commemorates Palestinian Land Day in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their struggle for self-determination against Zionist settler-colonialism actively seizing their land and attempting to exterminate them. In the face of the renewed genocidal offensive by the Zionist entity, we call on members to militantly stand with the Palestinian people and their resistance in their fight to end the occupation of their historic land.

First commemorated in 1976 following a general strike in which 6 Palestinians were massacred by the Zionist entity while protesting land stolen from the Arab villages of Sakhalin and Arraba, Palestinian Land Day has stood as a day of national unity of Palestinians for the demands of the return of their land, the end of the Zionist occupation and settlements, and the right of return for Palestinians. At the end of the day, the struggle for Palestinian self-determination is a struggle for their land against Zionism and U.S. imperialism.

Since the Balfour Declaration in 1917, British and then U.S. imperialism has supported and used Zionism as a tool to dispossess the Palestinian people of their land in their attempts to carve up West Asia. Sanctioned in the UN’s Partition Plan for Palestine in 1947 and enacted by the Zionist settlers through the Nakba in 1948, half of the Palestinian population was displaced and dispossessed of their land. Since then, the Zionist entity supported fully by the new hegemon—U.S. imperialism—has continued to violently uproot more Palestinian people and occupy more of their land with aims to annex the West Bank, Gaza, and whole countries in West Asia through its aspirations for a ‘Greater Israel’. The continued barbaric imperialist control by the U.S. and Zionist occupation of Palestine is based on the significance of West Asia’s massive reserves of fossil fuels, but also strategic trade routes critical for transporting plundered resources from Africa and the Asia-Pacific to Europe.

In general, imperialism will always aim to expel the oppressed and toiling peoples from their land in order to deprive them of their livelihood and self-determination so they cannot act as a united political force against their oppressors. This is why the imperialists support and create fascist puppet and settler states such as the Zionist entity, which has a messianic drive to separate the people from their land and whose main ideology is to exterminate the people at all costs to do this. Land is life and central to the struggle of the Palestinian people alongside those in the countryside in the colonies and semi-colonies across the world for national and social liberation.

Now, with an over year-long genocide conducted by the Zionist entity with the full support of U.S. imperialism that has spilled over to Lebanon and Syria after the Al-Aqsa Flood, the demands that Palestinian Land Day stands on must be propagated internationally to isolate the Zionist entity and weaken a limb of imperialism in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Now, more than ever, the peoples across the world must take the streets and show unconditional solidarity with the people of Palestine and their demand for sovereignty, ending the occupation, and a right to return to their historic land.

New international and internationalist week of action from 7^th to 12th of April  Towards a one year long campaign to support People’s War in India and the Communist Party of India (Maoist)

The world campaign against Operation Kagaar, ongoing, has denounced and affected imperialists and Modi’s government which had set the target to wipe put the Indian democratic, popular and revolutionary movements and the people's war led by the CPI (Maoist), that are the real political alternative for the proletarians and the people of India.

All campaigns of the fascist Modi's regime developed in recent years from “Green Hunt” onwards have failed to achieve the objective that the regime had.

Now Modi claim he will wipe out the people’s war, the revolutionary movement and the CPI(M) by march 2026. The International Committee to Support the People’s War In India (ICSPWI) calls all the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist communist parties and organizations, the revolutionary parties, the anti-imperialist forces, to meet the challenge launched by the Modi’s government with a one-year-long campaign from April 2025 to March 2026.

It is one year of mobilization and support for the Indian revolution which ICSPWI calls to. It will begin with an international and internationalist week of action from the 7^th to the 12^th of April

The CPI (Maoist) and the popular masses are resisting and rejecting the Kagaar campaign with determination and heroism. In any sector of the economy, the Modi’s regime is unloading on the masses the crisis brought by imperialism, its lackeys and the policies at the service of the big capitalists, as Adani, Ambani etc and landlords of India.

Modi was the first head of state in the world to go to meet and pay homage to the new chief of US imperialism, Trump. They had a meeting on February 12 to reaffirm the importance of their relationship in the framework of the alliances under the imperialist world system; particularly in the energy and defense sectors.

In the energy sector, Trump asks India to increasingly be the main customer of the American oil sector, which in the recent past had also been weakened by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Modi has committed to Trump to achieve the objective of bringing the trade between the two countries from 15 to 25 billions dollars in the energy sector over a five year term.

In the defense sector, India is the world's main importer of weapons, bought also from Russia and various countries in the world. In the mentioned meeting, Modi opened to further purchases from US and Trump offered to sell the F35s to India.

Finally, as part of the strategic control of trade routes, the big novelty of the meeting was the decision to relaunch the project of the "India-Med-East-Europe corridor", that is, a corridor for goods, data and energy from India to Israel, Italy, up to the United States. This project already existed, but the attack of the Palestinian resistance and the contradictions that it caused between the State of Israel and the Arab countries had blocked it. With the meeting, Trump and Modi are relaunching this project.

This meeting Trump/Modi should make clear to everyone the indissoluble link that exists between American imperialism and its servants and the Indian regime.

The Indian regime is one of most important supporter of Netanyahu and his genocidal campaign in Palestine. For this reason, ICSPWI calls during the week of action and to unite the international solidarity with the resistance of the Palestinian people to the international campaign against the Modi regime and Imperialism.

ICSPWI call to intensify the mobilization against the Operation Kagaar, made of massacres, forced deportations, murders of villagers and leaders of the tribal masses, social activists and revolutionary leaders, as well as persecution of the journalists and human rights activists who oppose it.

ICSPWI strongly takes up the call of the Indian comrades to support the people of Maad who are resolutely opposing the decision to use their lands and forests for the army maneuvers, as part of the increasing participation of the army in the genocidal war on people under the name of Operation Kagaar.

To support the people’s war in India and the Communist Party of India (Maoist) is one of the fundamental tasks of the revolutionary, anti-fascist, anti-imperialist communist movements of the world.

The Communist Party of India (Maoist) leads a people’s war to make the New Democratic revolution, to free the country and the working masses from exploitation and oppression and, united with the proletarians and the popular masses in the world, march to the proletarian and socialist revolution in the world.

For this reason, it is due to all of us to stop imperialism, Modi’s regime and their genocidal hand, as part of the global struggle against imperialism, that leads to wars, fascism, poverty and oppression of peoples.

ICSPWI calls to all for joining to the international week of action, 7-12 of April, deciding initiatives and forms of struggle according to the concrete conditions.

For its part, ICSPWI calls to:

• a great day of mobilization towards workers, in factories and workplaces

• public demonstrations of all kinds towards embassies and consulates

• meetings in support of CPI (Maoist) and to study its documents as the Message for the 20th Foundation Day Anniversary of the CPI (Maoist)

Belgique: Menace d’expulsion pour une féministe soutenant le Rojava

Marie Gillow est franco-allemande et vit en Belgique depuis plus de dix ans, entre études, travail et implication active dans la vie associative et politique. La constante de ses engagements est le féminisme, ce qui l’a amené a s’intéresser, puis à porter en Belgique la voix des femmes du Rojava. Elle été placée en septembre 2024 sur liste « Terrorisme, Extrémisme, processus de Radicalisation » de l’OCAM, en tant que « prédicatrice de haine » de niveau 2. Suite à ce classement, elle a reçu dernièrement un courrier de l’Office des Étrangers menaçant de lui retirer son droit de séjour en Belgique et de lui interdire l’entrée sur le territoire, en invoquant la « sécurité nationale ». A l’origine de l’inscription de Marie sur la liste de l’OCAM il y a la dénonciation d’un service étranger dont on suppose qu’il est turc.

C’est le voyage qu’elle a effectué dans ce cadre au Rojava qui est criminalisée. Cette attaque est d’autant indécente que la diplomatie belge fait des ronds de jambes devant le nouveau pouvoir islamiste de Damas – dont le premier ministre, précédement dirigeant d’Al-Qaïda en Syrie et d’Al-Nosra, a dirigé des attaques sanguinaires contre le Rojava démocratique.  Pour que son nom soit effacé de cette base de données, elle devrai suivre un processus de déradicalisation qui pourrait prendre jusqu’à 4 ans… L’inclusion dans cette liste ne prévoit pas de procédure d’audition, qui pourrait permettre aux personnes de s’expliquer. L’avocat a depuis multiplié les démarches pour « faire entendre » sa cliente. Une mise en demeure a été envoyée au cabinet du ministre de l’Intérieur Bernard Quintin (MR) et à la ministre de la Justice Annelies Verlinden (CD&V), dont dépend l’OCAM.

This month, the commander-in-chief of US imperialism ended the temporary pause on tariffs against Canada and Mexico, and increased the ones already leveled against China, only to promptly postpone their implementation in Canada and Mexico in an effort to cow the largest trading partners with the US.

Tariffs already existed and what have been imposed by the far-right reactionary Trump administration is more accurately called sanctions, as they are acts of political retaliation stemming from the inter-imperialist contradiction between US imperialism, Canadian imperialism, and Chinese social-imperialism. The inter-imperialist contradiction exists on the basis of another—the fundamental one in the world between imperialism and nations oppressed by it such as Mexico, the other recipient of retaliatory sanctions.

Trump’s unstable sanctions indicate a contradiction within the US imperialist ruling class itself. The stock market took a hit immediately, prompting outrage among some monopolies, followed quickly by postponement of the tariffs.

Canada and China responded with sanctions of their own. About 75% of Canadian exports go to the US. These include timber, oil, and polyethylene which is used to make plastic, all of which will have price increases passed to the consumer. Roughly half of the vehicles sold in the US come from either Canada or Mexico and auto parts cross both borders back and forth in a manufacturing chain set up with NAFTA, while almost all smartphones come from China. This forecasts price hikes amid the crushing “inflation” which has been battering the US household for the past 5 years; everything from gas to groceries and even electricity is due to increase as the result of Trump’s political bullying.

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Philippines hails the New People’s Army on the occasion of its 56th anniversary. We give our firmest salute to the bravery and valor of Red fighters and commanders who continue to perserve in advancing the people’s war in order to fight for the Filipino people’s aspiration for national freedom and genuine democracy.

We congratulate the NPA for all its hard-won achievements in more than five and a half decades of waging people’s war. The Filipino people honor you as their beloved warriors. You fearlessly fight for the people to end the yoke of imperialism, feudalism and bureaucrat capitalism, and wage fierce resistance against the US-Marcos regime.

On this important day, the leadership and entire membership of the Party pays tribute to the fallen heroes of the NPA who paid the ultimate sacrifice for choosing to serve the people in resisting their oppressors and exploiters. They are the people’s martyrs, whose lives of selfless dedication to the revolutionary cause is worthy of emulation.

We commend you for firmly upholding the leadership of the Party and actively advancing the rectification movement since December 2023. By being self-critical and rectifying past errors and weaknesses, you are slowly rebuilding your strength on the basis of the deep and wide support of the masses, and by waging guerrilla warfare according to your capabilities.

Much work has to be done to recover lost ground, revitalize the army and the mass base, and regain previous levels of strength. We have to hurdle many obstacles and adversity. The enemy desperately wants to crush the New People's Army, to leave the people defenseless and without a force to fight for their cause. The enemy wages a ruthless and relentless war, but in doing so, succeeds only in rousing the people to fight back with even greater energy and determination.

The entire Party must exert its utmost effort to strengthen the New People’s Army and advance the revolutionary armed struggle, which is the principal weapon of the Filipino, not only for defending themselves against the fascist oppressors and exploiters, but to achieve their aspiration for national and social liberation. The task of strengthening the NPA is presently the foremost task of the Party, as a whole, and must be shouldered by all cadres and committees, including those based in the cities, as well as overseas. Fulfillment of this task is requisite to advance all other tasks. All other tasks must serve the objective of advancing the revolutionary armed struggle.

Situation and tasks of the New People’s Army

The  rectification movement currently being carried out by the Party continues to take root, spread out and bear positive results, particularly in the field of the revolutionary armed struggle.  In the course of a little more than one year since launching the rectification movement, we have made thorough efforts at consolidating and revitalizing the NPA. Under the rectification movement, the Party is vigorously promoting within the ranks of the NPA an internal study and review of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, the Party’s basic principles and the strategy and tactics for waging protracted people’s war.

To further the rectification movement, the NPA has held conferences at the regional and other levels of command to sum-up experiences in order to identify and address errors, weaknesses and shortcomings in the past. These have confirmed, elaborated and deepened the key critical observations made by the Central Committee in initiating the rectification movement in December 2023. Resolutions have been adopted that aim to strengthen the NPA and propel the people’s war forward in a comprehensive manner. The Red fighters of the NPA are ever determined to fight for the people against the brutal onslaught of the fascist and oppressive US-Marcos regime.

The Party and the NPA are thoroughly criticizing and repudiating the predominantly Right opportunist tendencies that lead to errors, weaknesses and shortcomings, and which have resulted in stagnation and setbacks. These have primarily taken the form of conservatism and loss of guerrilla initiative in both military and political work, weakening both the NPA and its mass base.
