🇮🇳🏹 Rally Behind the Peoples of India Against the Hindutva-Fascist Modi Regime! Stop Operation Kagaar!
🌏 Statement of the ILPS in collaboration with the ILPS Commission on indigenous peoples and national minorities
🔸 Read the full statement at peoplesstruggle.org
Today, March 28, ILPS enjoins the peoples of India, especially in the Central and Eastern regions, in condemning the Modi regime’s violent crackdown against peoples’ resistance under the banner of Operation Kagaar.
This frustrated attempt at crushing the just peoples’ movement has been a vicious hallmark of the Hindutva fascism of the Modi regime and has led to countless violations of human rights and International Humanitarian Law.
The peoples of India, the revolutionary movements not only in Central and East India, but across the whole country, including fighters for national liberation have shown steadfast resolve to fight against the Hindutva-fascist rule of Modi. These struggles must be supported and amplified by all freedom-loving people across the world for their great importance in weakening imperialism where possible.
Join us on March 28 at 1pm to rally in solidarity with revolutionaries in India!
.....The struggle against militarization, environmental destruction, and encroachment on indigenous land
is as relevant to the exploited and oppressed masses of the U.S. as it is for those same sections in India.
Whether
it be the ongoing ICE raids, the state-murder of rapid responders, the
construction of data centers and oil pipelines, or the repression of the
Prairieland defendants, the U.S. state carries out its own terror upon
workers and activists here every day, driven by the same mechanism of
imperialism
and accumulation....
STOP OPERATION KAGAAR IMMEDIATELY!
New Democracy Association – Germany (Nuevo Peru) has shared a statement from Bandera Roja Bolivia denouncing Operation Kagaar.

On March 28th, as part of the mobilization day for the National Conference of the International Anti-imperialist League in Brazil, a demonstration against “Operation Kagaar” and the fascist government of Narendra Modi, marched through the streets of Rio de Janeiro with more than a hundred participants. The banner leading the demonstration read: “Down with Operation Kagaar and the Surjakund Plan! Down with Hindutva Brahmanic fascism!”, A Nova Democracia (AND) reports.

The demonstration included workers from the Workers’ League (LO), a large delegation of peasants from the League of the Poor Peasants (LCP), along with students and intellectuals. Along the way to the designated area for the National Conference, powerful slogans could be heard through the streets, and a speech denouncing Operation Kagaar and defending the Indian Revolution was made by an AIL representative. Stops were also made outside of the imperialist monopoly Arcelor Mittal, where effigies of Narendra Modi and Donald Trump were burned, and also outside the US consulate, where the US and the Israeli flag were burned.

In Bergen, Norway, a demonstration was organized by Kampkomiteen, Bergen4Palestine and Revolutionary Communist League on the 28th of March in front of the The Blue Rock, denouncing the old Indian State’s counterrevolutionary campaign “Operation Kagaar”.
On March 28th, Red Action in Finland carried out actions against operation Kagaar in Turku and in Tampere. In Turku, a speech was held denouncing the old Indian State’s Operation Kagaar, and the Finnish role in the exploitation of India. Slogans such as “Down with operation Kagaar! Long live the Indian revolution!” were chanted as well. In Tampere, leaflets were distributed.

Anti-imperialist Collective in Finland hung posters denouncing operation Kagaar and celebrating the resistance of the Indian people. They call attention to the international solidarity campaign called by FACAM. They also invite to a discussion meeting on Sunday the 29th at 17:00 in Artteli, Mustankahdenkatu 22.

In The Hague, Netherlands, anti-imperialist revolutionary forces held a joint protest, marching to the Indian Consulate where speeches condemning the fascist Modi regime and calling for an end to the imperialist-backed attacks and crimes against the Indian people. Partizan, the Communist Committee of the Netherlands, the International League of People’s Struggle (ILPS), the Maya Solidarity Committee, and the Rotterdam Front for Liberation participated in the demonstration, and Anti-imperialist League (AIL) flags were also present. REBEL! Magazine also made a report on the occasion.

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), the New People’s Army (NPA), and the entire revolutionary movement in the Philippines express unequivocal solidarity with the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the People’s Liberation Guerilla Army (PLGA). We stand with the people of India and their revolutionary forces as they frustrate “Operation Kagaar” and the Narendra Modi regime’s desperate war to crush the people’s war in India. As its end of March self-imposed deadline approaches, the regime has resorted to more brutal tactics of suppression. We join various international parties and forces in today’s March 28 International Call to Action, initiated by the International Committee to Support the People’s War in India (ICSPWI).
Since January 2024, the Indian state has waged Operation Kagaar (the “Final War”) against its own people. Thousands of military, paramilitary, and mercenary forces have been deployed, primarily in Central India, to crush the people’s resistance. By establishing hundreds of new military camps within forest and mountain communities, the state aimed to suppress the people’s struggle.
Operation Kagaar is a campaign of state terror against the people of India, against Adivasis, and organized forces who dare to oppose oppression. It specifically targets the leadership of the CPI (Maoist) while flagrantly violating international humanitarian law and the rules of war. These operations ignore the special protections guaranteed to vulnerable sectors in areas of armed conflict.
In just over two years, nearly 700 revolutionary leaders and Adivasi people have been killed in a series of massacres and summary executions. Thousands more have fallen victim to illegal arrests on trumped-up charges, abductions, and systemic harassment. The Modi regime has further intensified its coercive “surrender and reintegration” campaign, forcing civilians among the Adivasis to collaborate or face escalating military abuse.
These attacks paved the way for corporate plunder. Since this war intensified, corporations have rushed to seize and destroy thousands of acres of land, rivers, and forests to satisfy an insatiable greed for profit.
The Communist Party of the Philippines and the revolutionary movement in the Philippines trusts that the CPI (Maoist), the PLGA, and the Indian people will overcome the wave of fascist suppression and emerge victorious. So long as exploitation persists, the people will resist.
This campaign of suppression mirrors the US-directed fascist tactics employed against the Filipino people people for decades under various regimes up to the current US-Marcos regime. The Indian and Filipino people both exemplify courage in fighting terrorism and oppression, ready to face all difficulties and make the necessary sacrifices. The valiant resistance of the Indian people and revolutionary forces inspire the Filipino people to wage armed struggle with even greater ardour.
Amid a world being shaken by wars ignited, instigated or supported by imperialists, it is imperative that the Indian people and the Filipino people to unite and advance their struggles for national freedom and democracy. The liberation of our countries from imperialist oppression and domination would serve as an invaluable contribution to the global struggle against imperialism and for freedom and socialism.
As the Filipino people commemorate the 57th anniversary of the NPA this March 29, we stand in revolutionary solidarity with our comrades of the CPI (Maoist) and the PLGA, honoring their unwavering resistance.
Mabuhay kayo, mga kasama!
End the Operation Kagaar in India!
Defend indigenous land in India and the Philippines!
Fight destructive mining in India and the Philippines!
Marcos and Modi, fascist-terrorists!
Down with Imperialism!
Long live the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army of India and the New People’s Army!
Long live the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the Communist Party of the Philippines!
.....Whether in India or in any other country, the exploitative ruling classes launch restrictive campaigns just because the movement is progressing in the revolutionary movement.....
....In this process, the revolutionary movement is subject to ebbs, flows, and twists and turns....
....The party never covers up its shortcomings and mistakes, and has never covered them up. With the three wonderful weapons of the party, the people's army and the united movement, the Indian working class has become the vanguard of the revolutionary movement.....
.....On this occasion, we once again inform you that the Communist Party of India (Maoist) will complete the new democratic revolution in the country through the agrarian revolution, achieve people's sovereignty and establish an equal society and ultimately achieve communism....
