We are on the side of Iran and there must be no doubt about this either in our ranks or in the ranks of the working class and the movement, even if we know that in the current working class, in the factories, little is known about all this, information is scarce, knowledge is scarce, class consciousness is scarce, but this certainly does not depend on us but depends on historical, political and economic factors, that we do not address here.
It is necessary to be by the side of Iran because we are facing imperialist aggression by the largest and most aggressive imperialist power that exists on the planet which, with the figure of Trump, resembles Hitler's Nazi aggressiveness.
We are on the side of Iran that is suffering this aggression with the support of the watchdogs of the Middle East, the genocidal killers, the monsters of the Israeli regime who are participating in the front line of this new aggression, which is towards Iran, towards all the Arab masses who do not accept the exclusive domination of American and Western imperialism and the fact that they become the "commanders in chief" in the whole area, with Israel as a pillar and gendarme.
There can be no doubt: the first point is to be on Iran's side, and who is not against aggression against Iran is a piece of sh... whether it is a citizen, a worker, or a comrade, because in the world there are imperialist countries and countries oppressed by imperialism, there are countries that want world domination over all, with proletarians and peoples who have to suffer poverty, misery, wars, destruction and devastation and states and nations that must be vassals of the masters of the world and if they do not want to be vassals they must be overthrown.
We say that this aggression must end immediately. When you are attacked you have to respond, Iran as a state, as a nation, as a government, as a people, has every right to respond by counterattacking those who are attacking and bombing them. Iranian attacks on all bases and realities that are part of the aggression of American imperialism are just right. If the states, the Arab bourgeoisies, the Arab monarchies support this imperialist and Zionist aggression against Iran, it is right that they too should be affected. This is also a principle of justice. It is incomprehensible why the Iranian people, the Iranian state which remains a sovereign state, the Iranian nation, should not defend their territory and their national self-determination, their national rights in the face of barbaric and savage aggression by barbarians and savages; Without this judgment being a personal matter but a question of a system that is becoming more and more barbaric and savage. Just as Iran has the full right to defend itself and has the full right to have nuclear energy and the nuclear bomb. Having said that, the Iranian regime is a reactionary regime of bureaucratic capitalism at the service of imperialism that oppresses its own people, but the problem of getting rid of the Iranian regime is a problem of the proletariat, of the Iranian popular masses, whom we hope will overthrow this regime. We support all the protests that have taken place in Iran and continue to be there to overthrow this regime. But the overthrow of this regime certainly cannot be done by the beasts in the Israeli government, by American imperialism, by the murderous and genocidal Zionists who hate the peoples in the name of racist supremacism, of the neo-Nazi ideology called Zionism in Israel. These are certainly not liberators but are oppressors inside as well as outside and in the world; and therefore the Iranian people, the Iranian proletariat all have the right to fight against imperialist aggression and to overthrow the reactionary and massacrous regime of its people, headed by the Islamic class that currently represents the ruling class in Iran.
This is a problem of the proletariat and the Iranian people. The proletariat and the Iranian people certainly cannot be in favor of the fact that instead of the Shah's regime there are the Americans, the lackey government of the Americans, up to the wreckage of the Shah's family, a family that has been driven out by popular acclaim because it is part of those disgusting royal families that exist in some countries and even in imperialist countries, just think of what the English monarchy is and what it has become and who it is made of.
We are on Iran's side, we recognize its right to defend and counterattack even though we know that the balance of power is extremely unfavorable to the Iranian regime and that it does not have the possibility of continuing this war to the end, both because it does not have the political-material strength and, above all, because it does not have the support of its people, because the people in arms can chase away and can win, history has shown it and can continue to demonstrate it in Iran as well. But reactionary governments like that of Kamenei and its successors are unable to fight against greater enemies because they do not count on the support, armament and participation of all the people in a war of liberation against the imperialist aggressor.
Of course, the Americans, the Israeli Zionist regime are in the front line of the military aggression against Iran, but all the imperialist governments and states are on their side, even if they are well aware that their interests are not represented per se by the Americans and least of all by the Zionist State of Israel who work for them and not for third parties. The European imperialist governments have great interests both in Iran and in the important commercial hub that is the Strait of Hormuz where a significant part of world trade passes, in particular the most important trade concerning energy sources, oil, which is a basic reason why the Americans and the Zionists want to erase Iran in order to appropriate Iran, to make it become the petrol pump of their system. All imperialist governments are accomplices of this aggression, they are co-responsible for it and can gradually participate directly in it, and the Italian government is among them.
The Italian government is an exemplary government of the Americans' ass-lickers but, as always, the Americans' ass-lickers are treated by the Americans themselves as ass-lickers and, therefore, in this case they have not even been informed. Until the scandal of that fat minister (we are not for insulting people but some people deserve it the insult because even their physical conformation corresponds to their squalid function and ideology). Not only was the Italian government not informed - but we don't care about that - because it is not that we would have been happy if the Americans had informed the Italian government, but, just think, the Minister of Defense, one of the most important ministers in the Meloni government, was sitting around showing his butt to the sea, hosted in the luxurious hotels of Dubai, he was taking advantage of his function as minister to be treated as a sovereign in these countries in particular, which have become the center of luxury and waste and world parasitism while the populations in the world die of wars, hunger, misery, impoverishment, crisis, high cost of living, etc. etc. This squalid minister found himself there, and immediately for him there was a military plane at disposal, which ticket, he claimed, he paid three times the price (because these people have money, and it is always money taken from us); this traveling salesman of the war industry, this kind of accountant for third parties, this man, rag and sh… who is the Minister of Defense, has been caught red-handed, so that what is called the "Country" made a miserable look with respect to a situation of this kind. This is the fascists, this was Mussolini and this was all fascism in Italy, which later became an ally and servant of Hitler and Nazism.
Who really opposes imperialist aggression? The Iranian masses can and will only oppose in any case in the course and tortuous path of this affair. The Palestinian people have long opposed imperialist aggression and are paying for it with genocide on their skin, who are at risk of being driven out of their land according to the wishes of Trump and Netanyahu and who are instead resisting in Gaza as in the West Bank and who still today make it clear that Palestine is not for sale and that they continue their struggle for liberation for a Palestine from the river to the sea.
Surely are interested to unite themselves the proletarians and the popular masses of the Arab countries whose governments are all on the other side and can't wait to be called to the banquet by imperialism, to have their table next to them where they can eat their shit produced by the work and exploitation of the peoples.
The Arab bourgeoisies are the worst that has happened to the Arab masses and therefore we think that they must all be overthrown and that in the Middle East we need the unity of the Palestinian people and of all the proletarians and the Arab masses against all the Arab bourgeoisies, against the Iranian regime itself which sure will be disliked by the Americans but also disliked by a large part of the Iranian masses and is disliked by the general interests of the Arab masses of the territory.
In the face of this, which has also become another hotbed of war, Pope Bergoglio had already spoken of a "third world war in pieces", and on this he has been more lucid than many comrades. We share this judgment on the third world war in pieces; We also think that, as happened in the First World War and the Second World War, these "world wars in pieces" will then become a general world fire. We do not recognize the Italian government as representing the interests of the Italians but those of the bourgeoisie and the rich and the sector of the Italian social classes allied with them, their interests are the interests of imperialism, of the imperialist systems and of those who are stronger in this imperialist system or who want to appear stronger, what Trump's American imperialism is like today.
These governments are accomplices and servants of US/Trump imperialism and Netanyahu's Nazi-type Zionist state, they drag our country into war and unload the costs of rearmament of wars on the Italian proletarians and masses, starting from the simplest factors, the cost of living, the high cost of gasoline, to the most general ones; a system of war economy means cuts in work, cuts in democracy, peace, freedom, it means that the scum of Italy and not the Italian people rule, not even at the levels of what it is represented in a capitalist country.
So on the side of Iran, on the side of the Iranian masses who oppose the regime of the ayatollahs. On the side of the Palestinian people, the proletarians and the Arab popular masses against American and Zionist imperialism, against the Italian government.
