PUBLIC APPEAL  

The Middle East is once again engulfed in the flames of imperialist aggression. Attacks on Iran are being marketed to the world public under the pretext of a “nuclear threat”; war policies are being embellished with lies about freedom and democracy.  

The imperialism of the United States and the Zionist state of Israel have once again put into effect their policies that plunge the peoples of the region into bloodshed and destruction. What happened in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Palestine, and Syria is clear: Imperialism has never brought freedom to any country it has entered; it has only produced massacres, poverty, fragmentation, and dependence.  

On the other hand, the reactionary mullah regime ruling in Iran maintains an anti-democratic dictatorship that seeks to suppress the people through torture, executions, political repression, and persecution of the Kurdish nation. Women, workers, youth, and oppressed nations live under severe conditions of oppression.  

We know that neither imperialist intervention nor reactionary dictatorship can bring liberation to the people!  

The freedom of peoples can only be won through their own organized power, through their own revolutionary struggle. Those who pin their hopes on imperialist plans, and the reactionary regimes that keep the people under oppression, are condemned to the dustbin of history.  

As the Union of Migrant Workers in Europe (AGEB):  

  • We condemn imperialist aggression against Iran.  
  • We oppose expansionist policies that are dragging the region into a new war hell.  
  • We declare our solidarity with the Iranian people and all workers in their struggle for freedom.  
  • We call for expanding the anti-imperialist, international struggle against imperialism, Zionism, fascism, and all forms of reaction.  

Let’s strengthen the unity of the people against war!

Imperialist aggression will be defeated, the people will win!
