Dear colleagues
Stellantis is attacking our jobs, our plants, our future: job cuts, longer working hours, increased pressure to work faster, even plant closures – it has already begun!
Plants are being downsized, departments are being reorganized, jobs are being cut or left unfilled, the workload is increasing, and at the same time, uncertainty is growing.
We know the pattern: a location is given no clear prospects, models are phased out, investments are not made – and in the end, they say there is "unfortunately no future" anymore.
Stellantis is trying to portray these attacks as "unavoidable," shifting the blame onto "politics" or electric mobility. But we know that the capitalists want to compete at the top in the international arena for their profits at our expense.
And everywhere, management uses underhanded methods to push through these attacks: division – pitting plants and countries against each other, permanent staff against temporary workers. There is always something cheaper somewhere else. We are always expected to give in, to become even cheaper. In the end, this would make things worse for us in every plant – and no jobs would be saved.
That is why we say: we will not allow ourselves to be divided. We are one workforce at Stellantis – regardless of which country we come from. No plant stands alone. If there is less work – whether due to e-mobility or sales problems – then we demand a reduction in working hours to 30 hours per week – with full wage compensation!
And don't even try to bring up arms production. We don't want to build murder weapons for wars in which workers die! Workers don't shoot workers!
At a time when Stellantis is questioning plants worldwide, trying to play workforces off against each other, and spreading nationalist and fascist poison among the working class,
we need a clear response: international workers' unity, joint action, and consistent solidarity, which must be well organized!
At the International Automotive Workers' Conference in India in November 2025, we decided on an international Stellantis day of action. We will not wait until Stellantis announces its "new strategy" in May or June, but will loudly declare our fight against them in advance!

Let us send a clear message:
We are fighting for every job and training place, for every factory.
Spread the word about the day of action, talk about it with your colleagues and in the unions. Plan your actions, e.g., meetings in your workplaces, combined with rallies outside the gates! Tell your families and friends, because the future of entire regions is at stake. We will not stand by and watch our future being destroyed! A common element in all Stellantis plants could be a vote on a list of demands as a joint declaration of struggle. Make video messages and organize mutual solidarity!
