Unmask the Nature- and Climate-Destroying Capitalist-Imperialist World System

On August 26^th, hundreds of people were killed and injured in a flash flood in Nepal. Additionally, more than a thousand people are missing. The relationship between the people of Nepal and the people of our country spans many years—ranging from ordinary trade to the exchange of struggle experiences.

On behalf of the International Department of our party, we express our grief and condolences to the families of those killed and affected by the flash flood in Nepal. At the same time, we express solidarity with the revolutionary communists of Nepal.

Following this terrible flash flood, various research organizations are mainly blaming long-term climate change for the situation. In reality, the ice of the Himalayas has begun to melt, creating a adverse impact on nature. Many are saying this, but why is this happening? The imperialist-capitalist profit-centric world system is destroying nature in the name of so-called development and progress. And for that reason, the ordinary people of the world are suffering the consequences through floods, droughts, excessive rains, landslides, etc.

This flood in Nepal is not just a warning message for the people of Nepal; it is for all South Asia and the world. Already, the impact of the flood has reached Bihar. Bihar's Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has asked to open the Farakka Barrage gates. And everyone knows that if this is done, its impact will fall on our country as well. Therefore, this crisis doesn’t belong to Nepal only, but also to us.

Today, the program of saving the earth, life, nature, and climate has emerged as a fundamental program before the communists of all countries. Therefore, saving climate, life, nature, and the earth is part of the class struggle. That is why this struggle must be advanced further under the leadership of a united organization of communists worldwide.

We call upon all the people and revolutionaries of Nepal:

1. Stand by the affected people.

2. Unmask the nature- and climate-destroying activities of the rulers.

Finally, our call to the people of Bangladesh: Oppose this nature-destroying imperialist system. Build a struggle to achieve the fair share of all common rivers with India.

Another revolutionary heart has gone silent in exile, Haydar Kutan (Hoca) passed away on August 24 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where he lived.

Haydar Kutan, who had struggled with health problems for years was known as a political figure, living in exile, far from his home.

Haydar Kutan was a productive revolutionary, participating in revolutionary activities; he shared his opinions and thoughts on issues of the revolution Turkey, Kurdistan and the world, on the socialist experiences and the lessons to be drawn from them, in seminars that he gave and in conferences he attended; he also wrote articles about the line of Kaypakkaya.

Haydar Kutan has published many articles anonymously and under pseudonyms in newspapers and magazines like Yeni Demokrasi, Devrimci Demokrasi, Halkın Günlüğü and Patika. Also during his years in exile he continued his political and intellectual work and won the hearts of friends, comrades and admirers through his humble and reserved manners and the relationships he had with different groups.

The European Exile Union (ASM) expresses their deepest condolences to his family, relatives, friends, and comrades, and shares their grief.

Haydar Kutan’s legacy, his struggle, and the the values he left behind will live on.

SYM: Communist Revolutionary Haydar Kutan Lives On!

We mourn the loss of our comrade Haydar Kutan, the communist revolutionary also known as Hoca, who passed away on August 24, 2026, as a result of a devastating illness he contracted due to the harsh conditions of exile. His life, which began in 1954 in a poor village in Dersim, intersected with the communist struggle before he even reached his 20s. From that day until the moment he closed his eyes and bid us farewell, he lived in accordance with his worldview and ideals, and encouraged others to do the same. In Europe, if you ask anyone – especially within the TDH – they will tell you that they were shaped by his teachings, particularly until the illness had fully taken hold of his body and physically defeated him. Whenever his party – of which he was a member and a leading figure – faced severe setbacks that could have amounted to defeat, or wavered under the ideological siege of the international proletarian movements, Comrade Hoca did not choose the easy path or retreat; on the contrary, he took on the burden of leading further advances by learning from those defeats. He has proudly flown the banner that Comrade Kaypakkaya left us – not only in the revolution of Turkey/Northern Kurdistan but also within the International Communist Movement! This relationship, based on ownership of “bags, notebooks, and pens” is now a revolutionary legacy that every revolutionary must emulate. Bowing respectfully before his immortal memory, we reaffirm once again that we will prove worthy of this legacy, and we renew our call to all young people to join SYM and organize.

Leading comrades from the Communist League of Uganda were kidnapped by Ugandan state thugs yesterday following the League's recent national Congress.

Repression is worsening across the continent in the face of rising class tensions, driven largely by the rising cost of oil due to the US/Israeli war on Iran.

We express solidarity with all communists in Uganda and call for international pressure for the release of all political prisoners, and an end to the state harassment of socialists and communist organisers.

.Ugandan security forces have reportedly arrested leaders of the recently established Communist League of Uganda (CLU), only days after the organisation held its first national congress.

Booker Ngesa Omole, general secretary of the  Communist Party Marxist-Kenya (CPM-K), reported on Saturday that leaders of the CLU had been arrested by the Western-backed regime of President Yoweri Museveni. A video posted with his statement shows several Ugandans handcuffed inside a security vehicle.

At the time of writing, the precise number and identities of those detained, the location of their detention and any charges brought against them have not been confirmed.

The arrests, if confirmed, constitute a serious attack on fundamental democratic rights. Workers, youth and defenders of democratic rights internationally must oppose the persecution of political organisations by the Ugandan state and demand the immediate disclosure of the whereabouts and legal status of all those detained.

Devastating Landslides and Floods in Nepal - New Democratic People’s Forum(NDPF)

 The People Fall Victim to Global Warming and Climate Change Under So-Called Imperialist Development New Democratic People’s Forum(NDPF)

Recently, Nepal has witnessed massive loss of life and widespread destruction due to devastating landslides and sudden floods. On August 26, in the Himalayan region bordering China, a huge mass of snow, rocks and soil collapsed into a river, causing a devastating flash flood. As a result, the water level of rivers in vast areas including Rasuwa and Nuwakot rose rapidly, sweeping away settlements, roads, bridges and various infrastructures.

According to reports published in the bourgeois media up to August 29, the death toll in Nepal and Tibet combined has exceeded 600, and nearly 3,000 people are missing, including 540 foreign tourists. Due to the collapse of communication systems in remote mountainous areas, the state is not taking effective initiatives to determine the actual number of missing people and conduct rescue operations. In this sudden disaster, many families have lost their homes and means of livelihood. More than 93,000 people have been severely affected.

The sudden landslides and floods in Nepal are not a natural disaster. This flood caused by the melting of Himalayan ice is a manifestation of global warming resulting from climate change caused by the so-called development of the imperialists. Therefore, the recent landslides and floods in Nepal cannot be viewed as an isolated natural event. It is the result of rapidly changing climate and increasing pressure on the environment in the Himalayan region due to global warming. Not only Nepal, but this year thousands of people have died due to heatwaves in Europe, Germany, France, Spain and the United Kingdom.

As a result of imperialist and imperialism-dependent so-called development, ordinary people in Nepal and various other countries are today facing and continuing to face enormous losses in terms of life and property. At the root of this lies the imperialist world system. The New Democratic People’s Forum expresses sympathy and solidarity with the people affected by the floods in Nepal. And we hope that the struggling people of Nepal will confront this crisis through the revolutionary struggle to change this system.

It is with deep sorrow that we learned of the passing of our revolutionary friend HOCA (Haydar Kutan), who succumbed to the illness he had been battling for many years.

Our deepest condolences go out to his family, comrades, friends, and loved ones.

He will live on in our struggle through the efforts he contributed to the revolutionary struggle and the legacy he left behind.

A statement issued by the Maoist Communist Party (MKP) following the passing of Haydar Kutan (HOCA) read:

“We are experiencing deep sorrow and grief at the loss of Comrade Haydar Kutan (Hoca), one of our Party’s communist cadres, who dedicated his life of struggle to the revolution, the people, and the cause of communism.”

The statement also announced that the funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 12 p.m. at the Rotterdam Alevi Cultural Center—Albarddasstraat 67, 3119 PB Schiedam—and that Haydar Kutan will be laid to rest in Dersim.

El portavoz del Partido Comunista Revolucionario de Nepal, Sudarshan, emitió un comunicado de prensa el 10 de Bhadra, en el que afirma que la crecida, ocurrida alrededor de las 9 de la mañana, ha destruido aldeas, asentamientos, puestos policiales, centrales eléctricas, carreteras y puentes en zonas como Timure Bazaar, Syafrubesi y Rasuwagadhi, en Rasuwa. September 1, the date on which Hitler fascism invaded Poland in 1939 and plunged humanity into catastrophe, is once again being marked today under the shadow of escalating imperialist wars. While the ruling powers turn the world into a bloodbath and drive peoples into disaster, they simultaneously hide behind rhetoric of “peace.” Lasting peace cannot be built within a system dominated by exploitation, oppression, and reaction. Genuine peace can only be achieved through a united struggle against the mechanisms of domination and exploitation maintained by those in power.

September 1 is an important day for remembering the immense destruction that war and fascism have inflicted upon humanity and for strengthening the common struggle of peoples against war. The wars taking place today in different parts of the world demonstrate that the painful experiences of the past remain highly relevant. Therefore, September 1 must be a day on which the struggle against war and militarism is strengthened and taken to the streets.

The World Is Once Again in the Grip of Imperialist Wars and Occupations!

Contradictions between the imperialist powers have turned a vast region stretching from Europe to the Middle East into a war zone. The Ukraine–Russia war, further escalated by the policies of the United States and NATO, together with massive arms shipments from Europe to the region, has brought the world face to face with the danger of a broader imperialist war. As NATO emerges as the principal military strike force, the danger of a major imperialist war has become more tangible than ever.

As wars intensify, it is once again the peoples who pay the heaviest price. Cities are destroyed, millions of people are forced to leave their homes, and the economic and social devastation caused by war spreads far beyond national borders.

In the Middle East, the genocide and destruction carried out by Israel throughout Palestine, with the support of the imperialist powers of the United States and the European Union, are pushing the entire region into an increasingly dangerous situation. At the same time, attacks and attempts at intervention against Iran pursued through the US–Israeli alliance have brought the war in the region to a new level of escalation. Amid this dirty struggle for influence, markets, and domination, thousands of people are losing their lives as a result of imperialist rivalry and proxy wars stretching from Africa to Asia, while millions are being forced to flee their homes.

Militarism and the Politics of War Are Driving the Masses into Poverty and Hunger!

The system, which seeks to overcome its crises through wars and occupations, increasingly forces the working class and oppressed peoples to bear the costs. Billions spent on armaments and weapons are taken away from education, healthcare, and social security. The plundering of natural resources and the destruction of nature in the pursuit of profit are intensifying the global food crisis and climate catastrophe.

War does not take place only on the front lines. Growing militarisation is directly linked to the deterioration of workers’ living conditions, rising prices for basic necessities, and the erosion of social rights. Resources that should be used to meet society’s needs are instead diverted towards armaments, further increasing the burden that the politics of war places on society as a whole.

Under conditions of war and crisis, billions of people are struggling to survive and living below the poverty and hunger thresholds. Even in the United States and EU countries that finance wars and promote militarisation, social and poverty reports show that the number of people living below the poverty line is increasing, while inflation continues to erode people’s purchasing power.

Against War, Exploitation and Racism – For Continuous Resistance!

In the face of the growing threat of imperialist war worldwide, a powerful social movement is needed to ensure that the historical experiences of previous imperialist wars are not forgotten and to prevent new catastrophes. For this reason, this year’s September 1 demonstrations must bring demands for nuclear disarmament and opposition to militarism onto the streets more strongly and on a broader scale.

Racist and discriminatory policies directed against people who have been forced to leave their countries because of war are also among the consequences created by this system of war. Defending solidarity and fraternity among peoples against the demonisation of refugees, nationalism, and racism is an inseparable part of the anti-war struggle. Strengthening solidarity among workers, labourers, and oppressed peoples is the strongest response to the ruling powers’ policies of division.

The system responsible for wars and crises has no future to offer the peoples of the world. As ATİK, on September 1 we call on workers, labourers, young people, women, LGBTI+ people, and all progressive and antifascist forces in numerous European cities to take to the streets. Let us strengthen our common struggle in the streets against imperialism, capitalism, fascism, and war!

Let us come together in the streets and public squares on September 1 and confront war with the united strength of the peoples. Let us demand that the resources spent on war and armaments be used to meet the needs of the people. Let us fight for the abolition of nuclear weapons and all other weapons of mass destruction, and for an end to occupations and imperialist interventions. Let us not limit the struggle for peace, freedom, and equality to a single day, but continue to build it permanently, collectively, and in an organised manner!

Journalist Ahmed Polad, a correspondent for the Etkin Haber Agency (ETHA) and Özgür TV, was detained on 18 January 2026 while covering the news in Raqqa, Syria, and has now been unlawfully held for more than 200 days. German journalist Eva Maria Michelmann, who was detained while covering the news alongside him, was released on 19 June. Despite prisoner exchanges taking place between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), journalist Ahmed Polad remains deprived of his freedom.

Polad was separated from the civilian population and detained while covering the evacuation of civilians in Raqqa. For a long time, there were attempts to make his case disappear and conceal his whereabouts. However, at the end of April, it emerged that he was being held at a detention centre in Aleppo and was receiving medical treatment as a result of torture he had suffered. Testimonies from witnesses who shared the same cell clearly demonstrate that the journalist’s health and personal safety are under serious threat.

The fascistic, gang-like authorities currently holding power in Syria are disregarding the public’s right to information, the journalistic profession and fundamental human rights. This regime mentality, which has turned torture into a method, makes people disappear and even uses opposition journalists as bargaining chips in prisoner exchanges, while attempting to silence the free press through imprisonment.

As the International Committee for Solidarity with Political Prisoners, we demand that the Syrian authorities and officials in the region immediately provide a transparent account of Ahmed Polad’s whereabouts and fate. The conditions of his detention in Aleppo, the torture inflicted upon him and the violations of his rights must end immediately, and access must be granted to independent medical teams.

Journalism is not a crime. Ahmed Polad must be released immediately and unconditionally, and his safety must be guaranteed. He must also be transferred in accordance with his wishes.

We call on all international institutions, particularly the governments of European Union member states, to end their support for this gang-like regime mentality and to take urgent responsibility for securing Polad’s freedom.

Revolutionary Student-Youth Movement Forms Dhaka Metropolitan Committee, - press release

Announces University Committee and Holds Metropolitan Conference

Today, August 21, 2026, Friday, the Revolutionary Student-Youth Movement formed its Dhaka Metropolitan Committee at its Metropolitan Conference. Comrade Naim Uddin was elected president, and Comrades Arunab Ashraf and Sajid-ul-Islam were elected vice-presidents to form the 11-member city committee.

And a five-member Dhaka University Convening Committee was formed with Comrade Tasmiya Nebula as its convenor.

The Conference was moderated by Comrade Tofika Priya, and chaired by Comrade Naeem Uddin, the Revolutionary Student-Youth Movement. Speakers at the conference included Comrade Zafar Hossain, President of the New Democratic People’s Alliance; Comrade Kanon Chakraborty and Comrade Shafiq Suman, members of the central committee; and Comrade Rajjak, Joint Convener of the National Committee of Revolutionary Labor Movement, among others.

The speakers, analyzing the domestic and international political situation, said that students and youth must abandon the illusion of self-establishment and unite with the workers and peasants. Without the leadership of the working class and a peasant program, no organization or party can protect the interests of the broad masses of workers, peasants, and the middle class. Although the aspirations of the student movement in the July uprising were to oppose imperialism and expansionism, and to achieve the true liberation of the people, they failed to achieve their goal because they did not unite with the workers, peasants, and common people and did not have a correct political program that protected the interests of the workers and peasants.

Washington Will Not Criminalize Our People’s Struggle or Strip Them of Their Right to Resistance and Return

The Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, the Masar Badil, strongly condemns the decision issued today by the U.S. Treasury Department in the Trump administration targeting the movement with sanctions under the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regime. This decision represents a new escalation in the United States’ genocidal criminal, political and economic war against the Palestinian people and the forces struggling for their freedom and return.

This decision does not intimidate us, nor does it change any of our convictions or positions. Rather, it once again exposes the nature of the U.S. role in protecting the racist Zionist colonial project and its attempt to suffocate every Palestinian voice and every free voice that rejects genocide, occupation, settlement, displacement and normalization.

Washington, which provides political, military and economic support to the occupation and continues to shield the Zionist entity from international accountability, is now attempting to use the tools of sanctions, repression, and political stigmatization to criminalize the Palestinian struggle itself and to turn solidarity with Palestine and work for liberation and return into a crime.

India: Special Court In Mumbai Refuses To Revoke Bail Of Political Prisoner Varavara Rao

Mumbai, August 30, 2026: A Mumbai court on Saturday rejected the National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) application to cancel the bail granted to Telugu poet Varavara Rao and three others charged in the Bhima Koregaon case.

The NIA had sought that the bail granted to Varavara Rao, Sudha Bharadwaj, Arun Ferreira and Vernon Gonsalves be cancelled on the grounds that they had attended a gathering at the Mumbai Press Club in January along with other persons accused in the case. The NIA alleged that this violated their bail conditions.

On Friday, Special Judge Chakor S Baviskar said that the activists may have spoken about the case when they met, but was quoted as saying that, “By that alone, it cannot be concluded that, they committed breach of the condition imposed, that ‘the accused shall not come in contact or communicate with co-accused or any other person involved in similar activities.”

Special Judge Baviskar also pointed out that the activists met each other inside and outside the courtroom during the hearing of the case, and was further quoted as saying, “Hence, merely because a venue of the meeting/gathering of the accused changed, they cannot be said to have committed breach of the bail condition, as above and as alleged.”

Rao was granted interim medical bail by the Bombay High Court in February 2021 and the bail order was confirmed by the Supreme Court in August 2022. Bharadwaj was granted default bail by the Bombay High Court in December 2021 as the agency had not filed a chargesheet within the stipulated time of 90 days. Gonsalves and Ferreira spent almost five years in custody before the Supreme Court granted them regular bail in July 2023, with certain conditions.

La sociedad colombiana se ha manifestado frente al terremoto ocurrido el 10 de agosto. Ante la magnitud de la tragedia, cuyas cifras recientes hablan de 15 departamentos afectados, 120 671 familias perjudicadas, 287 personas muertas, 4 147 heridas y 194 desaparecidas, es imposible permanecer indiferentes.

Pero no es igual la forma en que actúan las distintas clases sociales que componen este país.

Desde el primer día de la tragedia, el pueblo ha dado ejemplo de entrega y solidaridad absoluta. Lastimosamente, no se cuenta con una cifra exacta de la ayuda humanitaria que se ha entregado, pero, según los informes de algunos de los lugares afectados, la cantidad de alimentos recibidos ha sido tal que incluso se ha tenido que invitar a realizar aportes de otro tipo. Se sabe, por ejemplo, que en tiempo récord, apenas dos días, se enviaron 23 camiones de ayuda desde Cali hacia Buenaventura.

A esto se suma la solidaridad directa como levantar escombros, auxiliar a los heridos, ayudar a quienes quedaron en la calle porque sus viviendas colapsaron o resultaron gravemente afectadas. A través de las redes sociales se han conocido diferentes puntos de acopio, así como la presencia de voluntarios en los lugares establecidos por las instituciones del Estado. También hay grupos organizados para recolectar alimentos para mascotas, psicólogos que trabajan en la recuperación de recuerdos y profesionales de la salud que se desplazaron hacia hospitales gravemente afectados, como el Hospital Universitario del Valle.

Deniz Pektaş, who was detained on the morning of 17 August in the Italian city of Ancona on the basis of an Interpol notice issued at the request of the Turkish state and under the allegation that he was an “activist of the illegal TKP/ML”, has been released.

As a result of the solidarity and support shown by revolutionary and democratic organizations, together with the legal struggle conducted by his lawyers, the court in Ancona today decided to lift the detention measure imposed on Deniz Pektaş and order his immediate release.

During the hearing, Deniz Pektaş stated that, because of his political activities, he has for many years been subjected to repression, surveillance and investigations by fascism. He emphasized that such policies of repression, detention, persecution and intimidation cannot deter revolutionaries from their struggle or break their determination.

Deniz Pektaş expressed his thanks to everyone who showed solidarity with him during the period in which he was deprived of his freedom. In particular, he thanked his comrades from Partizan, all revolutionary and democratic organizations that issued statements of solidarity and support, his friends, and everyone who closely followed the process and stood in solidarity with him.

Pektaş sent his revolutionary greetings to everyone who supported him.

Brazil: Military Police and Goons Destroy Peasant Occupation and Chase AND Journalist - info solidarity

On Wednesday, August 19, Guarani-Kaiowá indigenous peasants from the Aratikuty occupation, in Dourados (MS), were attacked during an extrajudicial eviction carried out without a court order by the Military Police of Mato Grosso do Sul, following orders from the big landlord governor Eduardo Riedel, A Nova Democracia (AND) reports. The repressive forces destroyed structures built in the occupation, launched tear gas bombs, and fired shots at the indigenous peasants, while shacks were set on fire. An AND journalist was chased by two goon vehicles at the entrance of the peasant occupation. When the journalist approached to the area, the fire had already started.

AND reports that the attack by the military police and the siege carried out by the goons complemented each other. The military police destroyed structures, threw bombs and shot, while the goons set shacks on fire and controlled the entrance accesses to the peasant occupation. They attempted to prevent the arrival of supporters of the Guarani-Kaiowá, as well as the arrival of journalists who could report about what was happening there. This is the fourth time that AND journalists have been threatened and harassed while they cover the struggle of the indigenous peasants in Dourados and surrounding areas.

Le révolutionnaire communiste turc Deniz Pektaş a été arrêté le 17 août 2026 en Italie sur la base d’un signalement Interpol émis à la demande de la Turquie. Il est actuellement détenu à la prison d’Ancône et menacé d’extradition. Pektaş, militant politique connu en Europe, avait déjà été arrêté et emprisonné en Allemagne en 2015 avec neuf autres révolutionnaires communistes, dans le cadre de poursuites visant le TKP/ML. Il avait été condamné à cinq ans de prison et détenu pendant plus de quatre ans. Cette arrestation est un nouvel exemple de répression transnationale exercée par l’État turc contre ses opposants politiques à travers les mécanismes d’Interpol.

In the present moment, Indian revolutionaries are facing steep repression and attack on all sides. Despite this, genuine comrades persist in the struggle to preserve the subjective forces and ensure the continuation of the Indian Revolution. As part of this process, liquidationist, revisionist, and opportunist elements within the movement are being weeded out bit by bit. The comrades at bsCEM are criticizing Vishwavijay and Seema Azad, two former revolutionaries who abandoned the struggle for several years and aimed to liquidate as much as possible, and destroy the Party’s political lines in service of their individualist goals. Yet, as bsCEM proclaimed:

Revolutionary politics cannot be reduced to personalities, friendships or long-standing associations. The masses must learn to evaluate political positions on the basis of their class content and their practical consequences. We must also reject the tendency to transform political disagreements into personal disputes. The revolutionary movement must neither rely upon personality cults nor reduce political criticism to personal attacks. At the same time, political criticism cannot be silenced by accusing every critic of being motivated by personal hostility. The correct approach is to examine the political line.

It was Chairman Mao who said “the correctness or otherwise of the ideological and political line decides everything.” We at Jal-Jangal-Jameen affirm this truth, and call on all genuine working and oppressed people in India or overseas to defend the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the New Democratic Revolution against all attacks. We will take this Martyrs’ Week to remember our martyrs and reaffirm our principles to struggle for revolution. Blood of the fallen people’s warriors will nurture the people’s war!

Comrade Charu Majumdar stands as one of the greatest communist leaders of the world. At a time when revisionism had reduced the communist movement in India to class collaboration, he fearlessly upheld Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, and rekindled the path of people’s war through the thunder of Naxalbari. He taught us that revolution cannot be begged from the exploiting classes, nor won through elections, but must be seized by the armed masses under the leadership of a genuine communist party. His relentless struggle against opportunism, his insistence on ideological purity, and his unwavering confidence in the revolutionary potential of the poorest peasants continue to illuminate the path of revolution in India. Though the reactionary Indian state captured and murdered him in their custody, they could never bury his politics. His blood nourished the revolutionary movement, and his legacy lives on in every struggle that dares to challenge imperialism, feudalism, and comprador bureaucratic capitalism. The ICSPWI (International Committee of Support to the People's War in India) calls on all the marxist-leninist-maoist organisations and parties, revolutionaries, anti-imperialists, progressives and sincere democrats to honour the Indian revolutionaries Martyrs The blood shed by martyrs in their struggle for New Democratic Revolution and Socialist Revolution must be honoured!At the same time we honour all people killed and massacred during the Modi's criminal and genocide Operation Kagaar.

The martyrs of the Indian revolution are the best sons and daughters of Indian people who sacrificed their lives not only for the liberation of India, but of the entire world, from capitalist/imperialist exploitation, contributing to the World Proletarian Revolution.

The Indian revolution, the people's war, the CPI (Maoist) is today in a very difficult situation, the Modi's regime claims that India is “naxal-free” today. The ruling classes, other governments and regimes in India had said the same in the past but the history has showed that this is an illusion.

People's war and CPI (Maoist) are immortal! New generations of sons of the people are in struggle and take in their hands the flag of revolution.

The actions of protest of the International Emergency campaign agaist Operation Kagaaruntil the strong 28^thMarch demostrations in the world have showed that in many parts of the world this is possible, but it needs to continue this campaign and do much more.

It needs to unify the international movement against all the forms of opportunism and sectarianism.

It needs to unite the initiatives on the democratic front and in support of the democratic people’s opposition movements against the Modi regime with the support to the CPI(Maoista) and his struggle against revisionists, traitors and capitulationists, today. and particularly on the 22^nd anniversary of Party foundation in september, to defend the Party and the road of protracted People’s War in India e in the world.

It needs to bring this struggle within the international communist movement, the large anti-imperialist movement in the world, first the movement of solidarity with the Palestine, the movement aganit the imperialist war, the movement against repression for the release of political prisoners.

Therefore, as part of an ongoing protracted campaign, we call for a new International Day od Solidarity and struggle on the 26^th of September 2026.

The platform and plan of actions for the Day will be developed with the cooperation of the forces in solidarity during the next weeks, from Rome to Paris, from Switzerland to Germany, from Turkey to Brazil, from Colombia to USA, from Bangladesh to China e and everywhere it is possible in the world.

Solidaridad con los afectados por el terremoto en Colombia

En esencia el llamado sigue siendo el expresado en el editorial de Revolución Obrera del 14 de agosto  frente al qué hacer «Generalizar los Comités de Solidaridad, uniendo las organizaciones sociales, las Juntanzas, los Parches y todas las iniciativas creadas con independencia del Estado y el gobierno para llevar la solidaridad a todos los rincones, especialmente a los sectores más vulnerables y a las regiones olivadas. Realizar el inventario propio de lo recaudado, de lo entregado y de cuantos son los damnificados, con el criterio de atender realmente a los más necesitados. Investigar cuales son las principales necesidades de cada punto afectado, reportar y centralizar la información que se vaya recibiendo, a fin de atender las necesidades concretas y concentrar esfuerzos.

Ya existen puntos de acopio independientes, y seguramente surgirán otros que se deben publicitar ampliamente a través de las redes sociales y demás medios disponibles para canalizar el apoyo generoso de los trabajadores del campo y la ciudad. Establecer con urgencia las veedurías a las instituciones estatales encargadas de recibir, administrar y entregar la ayuda a los damnificados en todos los niveles. Ninguna confianza en el Estado y el gobierno, el pueblo debe respirarles en la nuca para mermar el latrocinio en el Estado corrupto. Acciones que deben ser acompañadas de la denuncia frente a cualquier irregularidad y de la movilización inmediata. Todas estas iniciativas sumadas a las ollas comunitarias y demás actividades que ya se vienen realizando, con y entre los damnificados y las víctimas, tienen que servir de impulso a las Asambleas Populares que decidan democráticamente, ejecuten lo acordado y vigilen el cumplimiento de sus decisiones. Esta es una forma de ir construyendo el Poder Popular desde abajo.

En medio de la tristeza por el terremoto vivido en Colombia, que ha dejado casi trescientas víctimas mortales, algunas personas dicen que no se sienten bien de dar ayudas a las víctimas porque sirven al circo mediático del nuevo presidente.

La idea es errada, pero es cierto que causa rabia e indignación el uso publicitario que le ha dado el nuevo presidente de Colombia al dolor de las víctimas, pues en los hechos está improvisado, actúa con negligencia ante la tragedia y con sus acciones ayuda a agravar la situación de los afectados.

Sin embargo, los trabajadores deben seguir brindando solidaridad y actuando con diligencia en el socorro y la ayuda a sus hermanos de clase, pues más tarde se pondrá en evidencia la ineptitud del gobierno y que se pudo salvar más vidas

Igualmente es cierto que detrás de algunas de las propuestas oficiales se esconde el «marketing» de la presidencia o instituciones como Fenalco o la Alcaldía de Bogotá que buscan mostrase, darse prestigio y aumentar su reconocimiento social.

Hacer de la tragedia un espectáculo, es algo criminal, pues sacrifica vidas que se podrían recuperar en las primeras horas y que lentamente se apagan bajo los escombros por el show de la casa de Nariño, llegando al colmo de negarse a aceptar ayuda internacional de rescataste para la Colombia, cuando es evidente que son las masas populares quienes están actuando como voluntarios debido a la inoperancia del Estado burgués

Para la clase obrera es oportuno que se siga brindando solidaridad y que se hagan gestiones reales por la víctimas que quedaron sin vivienda. Y sí, hay que evitar caer en la falsa corriente de la manipulación mediática burguesa o el oportunismo de los supuestos salvadores que en realidad no ayudan a la población, sino, que buscan lucrarse con la tragedia con préstamos de la banca internacional que sirven para encausar los recursos hacia los monopolios capitalistas.

Se debe apoyar la actuación de socorro y las labores de ayuda mutua entre los trabajadores independiente del Estado burgués y brindar solidaridad sin reparos, bien sea apoyo económico, material o en especie y es bueno que desde algunas de las regiones se hayan presentado reportes del aprovisionamiento en alimentos.

Hay que apoyar a nuestros hermanos afectados por el terremoto, ejerciendo vigilancia para evitar hechos de corrupción en algunos sectores de pequeños avivatos, o estafadores y confiar en que las manos del pueblo harán llegar la solidaridad a quienes la necesitan.

Allemagne : Refus de visa à Booker Omole, secrétaire général du Parti communiste (marxiste) du Kenya - infosolidarity

 

Les autorités allemandes ont refusé le visa à Booker Omole, secrétaire général du Parti communiste (marxiste) du Kenya (CPMK), invité par le DKP aux journées de la paix de son journal Unsere Zeit, prévues du 28 au 30 août à Berlin. L’ambassade allemande à Nairobi a notamment invoqué ses précédentes arrestations au Kenya et une collecte de fonds destinée à financer sa défense juridique, interprétées comme un possible risque de non-retour. Omole affirme cependant avoir été soumis à un interrogatoire portant sur ses activités politiques et sur son soutien à la Palestine. Il dénonce une décision qui revient à empêcher la circulation de militants et les échanges politiques entre organisations communistes européennes et africaines. Cela intervient après des refus de visa en France et au Royaume-Uni visant le militant communiste kényan.

Birmingham : Rassemblement pour la libération des prisonniers politiques en Inde - info

Samedi 15 août à Birmingham, plusieurs organisations communistes et anti-impérialistes (RCG, Young Struggle, JCSRI, AIF, ILPS, etc.) ont organisé un rassemblement devant le consulat indien à l’occasion du « Jour de l’indépendance » de l’Inde. Celui-ci visait à dénoncer la détention de trois militants dans le cadre de la « Lucknow Conspiracy Case » et demandé leur libération : Priyanshu Kashyap (militant ouvrier et étudiant issu d’une communauté adivasi, est actuellement introuvable), Ajay Kumar (avocat et militant contre les déplacements forcés, est détenu sans procès depuis deux ans) et Vishal Singh (documentariste et militant, voit son état de santé se dégrader alors que la prison lui refuserait des soins médicaux). Les organisateurs dénoncent une procédure utilisée pour criminaliser l’engagement politique et réclament la libération des trois détenus ainsi que l’abandon des poursuites. L’affaire viserait également plus de quarante autres militants, avocats, syndicalistes et organisateurs, accusés par la National Investigation Agency de chercher à reconstituer le Parti Communiste d’Inde (Maoïste) dans le nord de l’Inde.

CASR STRONGLY CONDEMNS THE CRIMINALISATION OF TISS STUDENTS. WE UPHOLD ACADEMIC FREEDOM AND SOLIDARITY WITH POLITICAL PRISONERS

The Campaign Against State Repression (CASR) strongly condemns the escalating investigation by the Mumbai Police against students, former students and professors of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in connection with an October 2025 programme commemorating the late Prof. G N Saibaba.

The arrest of a former TISS student, the issuing of notices to professors over their communications with students, and the police scrutiny of routine academic fieldwork demonstrate a deeply disturbing pattern in which students, teachers, academic spaces, political expression and even reading material are increasingly being placed under police surveillance and criminal investigation.

What is particularly alarming is that the investigation is being expanded to include alleged possession or downloading of books and literature which the police describe as reflecting “Maoist ideology”.
