UK – Birmingham: sit-in for the International Day of Solidarity and Struggle the 26th of September 2026

Scrap Lucknow Conspiracy Case
In London the Joint Committee to stop Repression in India (JCSRI) members of India Labour Solidarity, Young Struggle, and Anti Imperialist Front alongside representatives of the Fossil Free Science Museum, with a total of 30 people present, gathered outside the Science Museum to protest its complicity in the Lucknow Conspiracy Case.
The Science Museum accepts sponsorship from the Adani Conglomeate. All three of the imprisoned and many of the 40 raided by the NIA have in some way organised against the displacement brought on by the world's largest coal developer and Elbit's main Indian partner in arms production.
Speeches were delivered detailing the Science Museum's link to the repression of these activists, alongside the environmental and climate destruction, and weapons deals that the Adani corporation engages in.
The repression faced in Britain was also highlighted such as the unjust imprisonment of the Filton 26, showing solidarity to all political prisoners.
There was a broadly positive response from the public in this busy area. Chants calling for the boycott of the Science Museum were raised and over 100 leaflets were handed out detailing the case. Banners calling for the release of the LCC 3 and the dropping of Adani as a sponsor, as well as ones detailing the crimes the Science Museum chooses to associate itself with were also raised for the public to view.
Scrap Lucknow Conspiracy Case!
Release Vishal Singh, Priyanshu Kashyap & Ajay Kumar!
Drop Adani now!
