The Hamas action that took place on October 7th in the occupied territories was responded by the Zionist state of Israel’s attack on Gaza aimed at eliminating the Palestinian resistance. This counter-attack by the Israeli state has been an aggression from the beginning and this aggression is growing every day. The address of the mass murderers is clear, even if it is characterized by names like Shimon Peres yesterday, Ariel Sharon and Netanyahu today: The State of Israel. The state of Israel is the head of the battering ram of imperialism, especially American imperialism, in the region. The Palestinian national resistance is a rightful war, despite its conciliatory character and its links with the feudal-fascist states of the region. It is a war for the existence of a nation that faces occupation, exile, massacres, extermination and dispossession at the price of its life. The Palestinian nation is resisting the Israeli state and its protectors, the imperialists who are its suppliers of weapons, especially bombs. Just as the Sheikh Said Rebellion, the resistance led by the Afghan emir and the resistance of the Egyptian merchants, despite the class character of some of their leaders, were rightful wars and received the support of the communists, today we support the Palestinian national liberation struggle and the resistance forces, which in the specific case of Gaza are mostly embodied in Hamas, but which also include the DFLP, PFLP and we declare that we stand by this resistance.

We are no stranger to what is happening in Gaza. We know and recognize it from our bodies burned with white phosphorus in Bayrampaşa and Ümraniye prisons on December 19-22, 2000, from the destruction of Cizre, Nusaybin and Sur by tanks and artillery, from our heads cut off in Dersim, from being asphyxiated by chemical gases given to the tunnels in Zap. That is why we understand the flowing blood of Palestine, the giving of their lives, and we bow before them.

The support for the life-sacrificing resistance of Palestine must and will be increased to a more effective level. We know that the peoples of the world are capable of this. As Prisoner Partisans in Silivri Prison, we inform our people that we will continue our support for the Palestinian resistance with a hunger strike, which is also a form of resistance, and that we will carry out a hunger strike action between December 6-9 as a response to the ILC’s call for the Palestinian People’s Defense Week.
