On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his immortality
Joint Statement
Proletarians and Oppressed Peoples of the World - Unite!
V.I.Lenin on the 100th anniversary of his immortality
His name and works will live forever!
Comrade V.I.Lenin, the teacher of the proletariat, became immortal on 21 January 1924. A century has passed. Comrade Lenin still continues to teach the proletariat and the oppressed peoples of the world. The International continues to guide the proletariat and the oppressed peoples of the world in their struggle.
It is not without reason that Comrade V.I.Lenin still "lives" among the international proletariat and the oppressed peoples of the world. Comrade V.I.Lenin was the leader of the October Revolution of 1917, the first workers' power of the proletariat after the Commune. As long as the struggles of the working class and oppressed peoples exist, as long as the class struggle continues, the name and works of Comrade Lenin will continue to live in the struggle of the working class and oppressed peoples.
Marxism, the foundations of which were laid by K.Marx and F.Engels, was developed with the theses and practice of Comrade Lenin. Marxism is defined by V.I.Lenin himself as follows: "Marxism is the system of the views and teachings of Marx. Marx was a genius who continued and completed the three main ideological currents of the 19th century, represented by the three most advanced countries of mankind: Classical German philosophy, classical English political economy and French socialism, united with French revolutionary doctrines in general." [V.I. Lenin, Karl Marx, An Explanation of Marxism and a Short Biographical Sketch]
Comrade V.I.Lenin, as a Marxist genius, adapted the "three fundamental ideological currents" of Marxism to the conditions of the epoch in which he lived. Comrade Lenin developed the revolutionary teachings of Marx and Engels rising on these three foundations in the flames of the socialist revolution in the historical conditions of the age of imperialism and brought Marxism to the stage of Leninism.
While Marxism is the theory of the period of relatively peaceful development of capitalism, Leninism is the theory of the epoch of imperialism and proletarian revolutions. It was born in war and tested in practice. More precisely, Leninism is the theory and tactics of the proletarian revolution in general and the theory and tactics of the dictatorship of the proletariat in particular.
Leninism as the Second Stage of Marxism
Leninism Maoism!"
What is Leninism, born of the proletarian revolution and developed in the struggle against the opportunism of the Second International?
In the words of J.Stalin, a loyal student and comrade of V.I.Lenin; "Leninism is the Marxism of the age of imperialism and proletarian revolution. To put it more precisely, Leninism is the theory and tactics of the proletarian revolution in general and the theory and tactics of the dictatorship of the proletariat in particular. Marx and Engels fought in the pre-revolutionary period when imperialism had not yet developed, when the proletarian revolution was not yet practically inevitable. Lenin, the disciple of Marx and Engels, fought in the period of advanced imperialism, in the period of the proletarian revolution in development, when the revolution of the proletariat has succeeded in one country, has defeated bourgeois democracy and opened the epoch of proletarian democracy, the epoch of the Soviets." [J. Stalin, Principles of Leninism]
Comrade V.I.Lenin, as a genius, made qualitative contributions to Marxism by saying that "revolutionary theory is not a birth" and "it emerges only in close connection with the practice of a truly revolutionary movement", that revolutionary theory must serve the practice, that "there can be no revolutionary movement without revolutionary theory".
Comrade V.I.Lenin developed and enriched the basic foundations on which Marxism was founded during the period of imperialism. With the contributions of Comrade Lenin, the science of Marxism at the stage of Leninism; The proletarian party, revolutionary violence, the state, the dictatorship of the proletariat, imperialism, the peasant question, the women's question, the national question, the imperialist war of division and the understanding of the tactics of the proletarian class struggle, etc. has been carried to a much more advanced stage.
The theory of materialism developed by V.I. Lenin and his definition of matter further strengthened the foundations of Marxist philosophical materialism. V.I. Lenin's analysis of imperialism as the highest stage of capitalism is a great contribution to Marxism. He scientifically explained the transformation of capitalism from the pre-monopoly capitalist stage to the monopoly stage and how this highest stage of capitalism leads to wars and revolutions. He pointed out that imperialist war is the continuation of imperialist policy, the highest and last stage of capitalism. Therefore, he said, it was the dawn of the proletarian revolution.
Another great contribution of Comrade V.I.Lenin was to emphasise the necessity for the proletariat to overthrow the bourgeois state mechanism and to establish the dictatorship of the proletariat in its place.
Since capitalism develops unevenly in various countries, socialism is first realised in one or a few countries, in a weak link of the imperialist chain. Capitalist countries will still exist. These will help the imperialists to mobilise against the newly developing Socialist states. The socialist states must be preserved and the world socialist revolution must be achieved. Therefore the struggle will be long. Comrade V.I.Lenin provided this understanding.
As regards the organisation of the Party, he said. The party must have a very wide network of members and a core of professional revolutionaries. Such a political party must necessarily fuse with the people and attach great importance to the creative initiative of the people in the construction of history. He also contributed to the working style of the party and developed the Leninist understanding of the Party.
The Leninist understanding of the National Question is a qualitatively higher stage. Comrade V.I. Lenin explained that all nationalities have the right to full equality, the right to self-determination, including secession, and ultimately the right to form a federation of all nationalities. He explained how the national and colonial question is an integral part of the general question of the world proletarian revolution. According to Comrade V.I. Lenin's national and colonial thesis, proletarian revolutionary movements and the colonies of the capitalist countries must ally themselves with national liberation movements. This alliance can destroy both the colonies and the alliance of imperialist, feudal and comprador bourgeois reactionary forces in the dependent countries. It will, therefore, in the end inevitably put an end to the imperialist system all over the world.
Comrade V.I.Lenin founded the Third International immediately after the end of the imperialist war of division. He made it a powerful weapon of the international proletariat in the struggle against imperialism. Under his leadership the international proletariat and the oppressed peoples of the world realised that liberation was possible.
Comrade V.I. Lenin and Leninism as the leader of the October Revolution, which opened the epoch of imperialism and proletarian revolutions, is the Marxism of the epoch of imperialism and proletarian revolutions. Comrade Mao Zedong, a loyal disciple of Comrade V.I. Lenin, carried forward Leninism, the Marxism of the age of imperialism and proletarian revolutions. In the epoch of imperialism and proletarian revolutions, Mao Zedong further developed the three fundamental pillars of Marxism-Leninism. Comrade Mao Zedong brought Marxism-Leninism to the stage of Maoism by saying that there could be backsliding from socialism and that thousands of Great Proletarian Cultural Revolutions were necessary to prevent this danger.
Comrade V.I.Lenin, who devoted his whole life to the Russian proletariat and the oppressed people of various nations and nationalities, to the proletarian world revolution, to the international proletariat and the oppressed world rights, without the slightest personal interest; who worked tirelessly for this purpose, who suffered imprisonments and exiles, who led the October revolution of 1917, one of the miracles of human history, continues to live and fight in the struggle of the international proletariat and the oppressed world rights.
Let us rally under the Red Banner of Leninism!
