Solidarity from Bangladesh to Palestine

 

General Students of Dhaka University had organized an assembly-procession-effigy burning program with the slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” in support of the just struggle of the people of Palestine. Speakers of the protest have condemned the action of occupier apartheid state of Israel and the Netanyahu government with the help of the imperialist USA. 

Speakers said, to free Palestine, it is necessary for the people of Palestine and Israel to struggle unitedly. In this program, Subinoy Mustofy Eron, a general student of Dhaka University, along with Nayem Uddin, a central organizer of the Dhaka University Chapter of Revolutionary Student-Youth Movement and student of Dhaka University; Jafar Hossain, President of New Democratic People's  Forum; Professor Dr. Harun Ur Rashid, Secretary of Maulana Bhasani Parishad; Sazid Ul Islam of Democratic Student Council; Meghmallar Basu of Bangladesh Student Union.

Nayem Uddin said in his speech, to achieve the liberation of the Palestinian people, it is necessary to have a revolutionary party whose ideology will be based on Marxism-Leninism-Maoism. Only the united struggle of the people of Israel including the Jews and the oppressed people of Palestine under the leadership of a revolutionary party can liberate the people. 

The speakers urged to mobilize for the establishment of an imperialist-free, secular, and unified Palestinian state. At the end of the gathering, effigies representing American, Russian, Chinese, EU imperialist leader and Indian expansionist leader was burned by the protestors.
