Italy – Revolutionary Proletarian Feminist Mouvement: Week of mobilization in India – initiatives marking the internationalist day of September 26,

Many political prisoners are women; beyond terrible detention conditions, torture leading to death, and covert killings, they are subjected to rape and sexual torture at the hands of soldiers and prison guards. India—often portrayed as the "world's largest democracy"— is actually the world's largest "prison." Repression and massacres — particularly targeting Adivasi populations engaged in struggle — go hand in hand with rape and sexual violence, including against young girls. The Modi government and its armed forces reserve particular brutality for female Maoist fighters — a decisive force in the people's war waged by the Communist Party of India (Maoist), which Modi seeks to eradicate entirely through mass and targeted killings (an ongoing campaign known as Operation Kagaar).
Modi and Meloni are close allies with significant shared interests; both support Netanyahu and are complicit in the genocide of the Palestinian people.
We have compiled a dossier documenting the horrific conditions faced by female political prisoners in Indian jails. Please request a copy at: mfpr.naz@gmail.com.
We call upon fellow women—activists, journalists, feminists, workers, and those engaged in struggles in our own country — to make their voices heard and speak out (as there is very little discussion regarding female political prisoners in India or the general situation of women there). We also urge you to participate in the events taking place across Italy on September 26—specifically in Milan, Bergamo, Ravenna, L'Aquila, Taranto, Palermo, and elsewhere.
