The
preparatory meeting for the
International Conference in
support of People's
War in India
was held in Hamburg.Comrades from all the
national chapters of the International Committee, the
BGIA as organizers of the conference,
participated.
The International
Committee reported on
the work carried out to
inform and invite
comrades in the
different parts of the
world.
In Asia, the Committee invites comrades from India,
Nepal, Afghanistan.
From Northern Africa, we are invites Tunisian organizations and a delegation from Morocco.
In all countries of
Europe, initiatives of the committee
impulse the participation, particularly in Italy, France and Galicia.
In the Spanish State all forces that support the People’s War are inveted, except groups that attack PCIm India and people's war as 'armed revisionism and centrism'. A delegation of a
youth organizations will come from Netherland. Efforts
are being made for a good participation from England, where there are
the ICAWPI and other forces and activities against the Operation
Green Hunt and in support of the Revolutionary Democratic Front.
From Canada, the
comrades reported that after the brilliant campaign in January 2012,about efforts to publicize the conference, and to send a delegation.
In Italy the
preparations for delegations advanced in some areas influenced by the
committee and in the next months new events of propaganda and support
to the conference are being prepared. There will also be initiatives
and calls specially addressed to base unions, Communist and
anti-imperialist forces who look with interest to the PW -
particularly in Naples, Rome and Florence, other forces supporting
the revolutionary wars and the solidarity with political prisoners
and finally groups of the internationalist solidarity.
In France, by the end
of September, a preparatory conference will take place, open to all
national and international organizations in the country, to get a
good attendance at the conference in Hamburg.It is also important the support received from two popular
blogs, such as "Serve the Peuple" and "Feudeprairie."
The comrades are treating the fund-rising problems by making a
T-Shirt. Leaflets calling to participate will be spread among the
workers of Michelin, who are struggling against the transfer to India
of some of the activities. A stand of propaganda will be at the
national feast of “Humanité”, which still constitutes an event
of reference in which there are also international organizations from
different countries and of different
The Committee received
a request for information and
participation by the
MLKP.
As regards the Latin America we inveted comrades from Brazil and Ecuador,
Colombia, Bolivia, Mexico and Argentina.
The Report of the
Committee concluded highlighting the great potential of the campaign
for the participation to the Conference, that shows that the
conference is potentially a great success for making a quantum leap in the movement of support
to the PW.
The report of the
organizations promoting the Conference in Germany filled with
satisfaction the meeting, because of the important advances they made
in getting the support of different organizations, not only in
Hamburg but from the whole Germany, as well as from Turkish MLM youth
organizations and Parties.
The Committee invites for the participation from Philippines. The
activities of the organizers in Germany got the support of two
organizations from Austria, Switzerland, as well as from the groups, existing in
different countries, of the Secours Rouge International. It's sure participation of delegations from
Sweden and Norway.
The International Conference is a blow to imperialism and Indian regime.
The Conference's program lasts from 11.00 to 22.00.It
will include two reports, 20 minutes-long each, made by the promoting
organizations, In order
to facilitate the greatest number of interventions they cannot
exceed the 5 minutes.
The goals of the Conference, its results and new actions for the future will be
summarized in a resolution adopted at the end of the Conference.
