Maoists Mum Over Veracity
COIMBATORE: Four Maoists arrested recently by the Q Branch police have refused to sign and confirm that documents seized by the police during raids belonged to them. This happened when they were produced before Principal District Judge R Pongiappan here on Wednesday, at the end of their police custody. The alleged Maoists are R Shyna (42), J Anup (31), C Veeramani alias Easwaran (60) and C Kannan (46). Roopesh, the other Maoist arrested by the the Q Branch, is still in the custody of the Kerala police.
