Condolences to C(M)PA on the martyrdom of Comrade Salim!
The Central Committee of the CPI (Maoist) expresses its deep-felt condolences to the CC and the cadres of
the Communist (Maoist) Party of Afghanistan on the martyrdom of Comrade Salim, the main member of its Central
Committee. The CC shares the grief with his kith and kin.
The martyrdom of Comrade Salim is yet another loss to the World Communist Movement. With his
prolonged experience as one of the leaders of the oldest New Democratic Movements and one of the founders of
the ‘Fighting Organisation for the Rescue of Afghanistan’, he worked to form C(M)PA. Amidst chronic illness, he
strived to strengthen the Communist (Maoist) movement in Afghanistan and to uphold Marxism-Leninism-Maoism.
He contributed to the coordination of the Communist parties of the world.
Let us pledge in the memory of Comrade Salim to continue his ideals and to strengthen international
solidarity. Let us strive to root out imperialism from the earth and establish Communism all over the world.
