The
International Campaign spreaded in 12 countries touching all
continents, with the adhesion of 19 communist, revolutionary and in
particular Marxist-Leninist-Maoist parties and organizations and mass
organizations of workers, students, women and peasants.
In
Brazil the campaign was jointly organized by the New Popular
Revolutionary Students Movement, the Women's Revolutionary
Movement and the Cultural Revolution newsletter
and was massive.
It developed through mass assemblies with students in universities
and workers and among the peasant masses, in which the genocidal
Kagar campaign by the Modi regime was denounced while simultaneously
expressing support for the People's War in India led by the CPI
(Maoist) and for the Palestinian Resistance that resists the
genocidal war of the Zionist colonial regime and the Netanyahu
government.
During the week, graffiti and murals of support were
made and posters were put up in universities.
The Women's
Revolutionary Movement announced its intention to publish the CPI
(Maoist) document on the social-imperialist character of China with
the aim of struggle against the influence of Xi Jinping's
contemporary revisionism.
Finally, recognizing the importance
that the internationalist unity of communists around the basic
principles of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism assumes in this phase, gaining
practical importance, thinking that the ICSPWI serves this purpose,
the Women's Revolutionary Movement has formally requested to
be part of the committee.
In Bangladesh, on April
12, two events for the campaign were organized in Dhaka: a meeting
chaired by the Shaheed Revolutionary and Patriotic Memorial
Society, where democratic, progressive and revolutionary
organizations discussed about the situation in India, the clash
between revolution and counter-revolution, and denounced Indian state
terrorism through its different campaigns over the years (Salwa
Judum, Green Hunt, up to the current Operation Kagar). In addition,
an extraordinary genuinely anti-imperialist demonstration took place,
organized by the Revolutionary Student-Youth Movement, which
denounced Yankee imperialism in support of the Zionist genocide in
Palestine and the Indian regime of Modi and against imperialism in
general, in this sense the effigies of Trump, Modi, Netanyahu, Xi
Jinping and Putin were set on fire. Solidarity was expressed not only
with the Palestinian national liberation struggle and the People's
War in India but also with other national liberation struggles such
as those in Baluchistan and Myanmar.
In Italy the
campaign developed in three cities of the country and was organized
by the maoist Communist Party Italy and its mass
organizations such as Slai Cobas for the Class Union and the
Revolutionary Proletarian Feminist Movement. In the North in
Milan, comrades and workers from these organizations participated
with a large banner and with the intervention in the combative and
large demonstration of 15,000 people in support of the Palestinian
people. Indian and Pakistani immigrant workers in Lombardy organized
in Slai Cobas for the Class Union expressed solidarity with
the Palestinian Resistance and called for an end to Operation Kagar.
In the South in Taranto the same organizations participated in a
sit-in in support of Palestine with signs, photos and a speech
underlining the need for double support for the Palestinian
Resistance and the People's War in India against the ongoing
genocides in Gaza and Bastar (Chattisgarh, India). Finally in Palermo
a proletarian assembly was held with workers and women from Slai
Cobas for the Class Union and
Revolutionary Proletarian Feminist Movement.
In
Colombia, in Medellín, Manizales, Cali and Bogotá, on the
occasion of the demontrations of April 9, the “National Day of
Memory and Solidarity with the Armed Conflict Victims in Colombia”,
the Worker Communist Union (MLM) adhering to the ICSPWI,
developed a mural campaign of the poster of the international
campaign, and by participating in the initiatives denounced Operation
Kagar and the genocide in Palestine perpetrated respectively by the
Modi and Netanyahu governments.
In addition, episode 183 of the
YouTube podcast "Vanguardia Obrera" was dedicated to the
international campaign.
In Tunisia, during a
student demonstration in support of the Palestinian Resistance, some
UGET students expressed support for People's War in India and
denounced the link between the reactionary Zionist and Hindutva
ideologies.
In the USA, in Portland (Oregon), a
sit-in protest was held in front of the Indian consulate, organized
by the Portland Revolutionary Study Group.
In
Australia, the Indian consulate in Melbourne was sanctioned with
writings in support of the CPI (Maoist) and calling for the end of
Operation Kagaar.
In
France, in Paris, the Committee for the Liberation of
Georges Ibrahim Abdallah carried out a massive distribution of a
poster of support. The organization Communist Unity, promoted
the campaign on the web and in some cities held training meetings
with its comrades and supporters on the People's War and the CPI
(Maoist), while the online communist magazine Supernova
translated and spread the appeal of the campaign.
In
Galicia (Spanish State), in Coruna during a militant meeting at
the Gomes Gaioso Social Center, solidarity was expressed with
the CPI (Maoist) and the People's War and the genocidal operation
Kagaar was denounced. Furthermore, the blog Dazibao Rojo reports
images of propaganda action by spreading the poster of the
international campaign.
In the Russian Federation,
posters of support were distributed and propaganda actions were
carried out.
In Turkey and Afghanistan,
statements, posters and stands of support for the CPI (Maoist) and
the People's War in India and denouncing the Modi regime were
distributed, respectively by the MLKP and the PC(A)m.
The
week of April 07-12 was only the beginning of a prolonged
mobilization campaign that will last a year, until March 2026, the
month in which the Indian bureaucratic and comprador bourgeoisie
dreams of putting an end to its worst nightmare: the People's War and
the revolutionary party that leads it, the Communist Party of India
(Maoist).
Meanwhile, the Indian popular masses, the
Adivasi populations of Bastar and Dantewada in Chattisgarh, the
farmers, are heroically resisting Operation Kagaar and the Hindutva
reactionarization of the Indian State by the reactionary Modi regime,
the main ally of Yankee imperialism in South Asia and the world.
It
is therefore a duty of all individuals, and the sincerely democratic,
progressive, revolutionary and communist (especially
Marxist-Leninist-Maoists ones), to support the largest people's war
underway in the most populous country in the world in one of the
regions where inter-imperialist contradictions are increasingly
sharpening: South Asia and the Indo-Pacific area.
The
ICSPWI therefore welcomes all the forces that participated in the
international week of support in April, invites them to form local
support committees to continue this activity in their countries
according to specific national possibilities and characteristics and
at the same time invites them to coordinate with the ICSPWI in full
autonomy for the next specific stages of this long campaign of
support that will develop over the next 10 months to come.
The
ICSPWI renews the same invitation also to those forces that in the
past have joined the international campaigns in support of the
people's war in India,
The current situation
in India requires real unitary and deployed support for the CPI
(Maoist) free from sectarian logic and calculations and from
"preservation of one's own fiefdom".
