We send our solidarity
to the family of Ganti Prasadam a

and all the comrades of Revolutionary Democratic Front
The Brazilian Centre of Solidarity to the
Peoples (CEBRASPO) and other entities and democratic persons listed below,
strongly condemn the murder of Ganti Prasadam, as well as we condemn all the
others crimes committed by the Indian state against its people and its leaders.
We join our voices with the Indian people and the Revolutionary Democratic
Front in this moment of sadness and regret, standing in solidarity with the
just struggle of those who rise up against oppression, injustice and for the
people’s rights.
Ganti Prasadam, a man who has devoted his life
to defend the oppressed people, was brutally and fatally attacked by
unidentified gunmen in Nellore town (Andhra Pradesh state), where he was to
attend the Annual Meeting of the Martyr’s Committee.
This cowardly crime is part of the escalating
repression of the Hindu reactionary regime, responsible for the worst
atrocities against the struggling oppressed people and against political,
social and civil rights activists. But people will not be defeated! The
Revolutionary Democratic Front declared that the martyrdom of Prasadam will not
stop the people’s struggle. Despite all the repression and cruelty against
them, the Indian people will continue to take the example of their martyrs.
The
Government of Andhra Pradesh is also responsible for the murder of Ganti Prasadam.
In Andhra Pradesh, the assassination attempts against activists of the political,
social and civil rights there have been repeated in the last 40 years. Dr.
Ramanadham, Purushottam, Azam Ali and Belli Lalita are some of the dedicated
grassroots leaders and civil rights activists who were targeted by the state of
Andhra Pradesh in the past. But History has proved that such attacks on people’s
rights activists never put an end to the popular movement. In fact, the massive
people’s resistance movement in Andhra Pradesh, Telanagan and throughout the
subcontinent is on the rise in recent months and will swallow the anti-people
and pro-imperialist ruling class, along with the reactionaries in the rural
areas.Down to Operation Green Hunt!
Long live to the struggle of the Indian people!
Solidarity to all the wrestlers and popular leaders of India!
