SOMA | 16-05-2014 | Footage has emerged of Turkish
Prime Minister Erdoğan taking a swing at a protestor during scuffles yesterday
when he visited the mine at Soma. New footage shows PM Erdoğan throwing a punch
while taking refuge in a supermarket during protests by local people. It is not
clear from the footage on youtube whether the punch made contact, but the Prime
Minister is seen taking a swing.Photographs of the Prime Minister’s aide, Yusuf Yerkel, kicking a person on the ground have also emerged.
