KONYA - ANF

While the attacks of Turkish security forces on civilians in the Kurdish cities continue, the Kurdish people are also facing attacks in other cities of the country, which are mostly carried out by fascist and racist groups.
A group of Kurdish seasonal workers who went to Baş village in Konya's Ereğli district two weeks ago, have been attacked by a fascist mob as they worked in the field.
The fascist group with arms came to the field where Kurdish citizens worked, and set fire to the tents where they are staying.
Worried over the Kurdish citizens' security of life, the land owner took them out of the village in lorries.
Ramazan Kırkış, one of those Kurdish workers, said they could hardly save their life while gendarme forces did not come to the scene during the attack.
