Teachers strike and repression in Rio de Janeiro

Thousands of teachers decided to went on strike on November 25 in Rio de Janeiro. Afterwards they marched and closed down a big part of one of the main avenues of the city. During the morning more than 2,000 gathered in one assembly to decide to strike. This was the biggest teachers assembly since 2013.

ARTISAN MINERS PROTEST IN LIMA AGAINST IMPERIALIST LOOTING

They will take everything from this country. Because it does not belong to us, we are. We are a mess. Here. And the powerful do what they want... Says one of those who protest against the looting of the big imperialist mining companies and the big native bourgeoisie at their service, while the artisanal miners -poor peasants in their great majority- are prohibited from producing, criminalizing their work that they have been doing since time immemorial.

The criminalization of artisanal producers began with force in the present century and has become part of the war against the people since the signing of the free trade agreement with the United States with the government of Alan Garcia and the repression has been implemented with more force since the government of the genocidal Ollanta Humala. The miners are confronting the repressive forces of the old State in the service of imperialist mining and the big bourgeoisie, using all forms of struggle up to the highest, where they employ the experience gained from the people's war led by the PCP.

In the province of Pataz, in La Libertad, the miners are resorting to the highest form of struggle to combat the repression of the old State, thus developing the democratic path.

“Vogliamo solo giustizia per Ramy”, “facciamo casino perché non ci fanno vedere i video”, “l'hanno investito, l'hanno ammazzato”.

Ramy Elgami è morto dopo un inseguimento dei carabinieri nella notte tra sabato e domenica. Era a bordo di uno scooter TMax, insieme a un amico tunisino di 22 anni. Lui, 19 anni, era dietro l'amico alla guida. Una ventina di minuti prima della caduta, verso le 03:30, i due avevano incrociato un'auto dei carabinieri, nella parte opposta di Milano, in via Farini. Non si erano fermati all'alt dei carabinieri e avevano imboccato a tutta velocità una strada e lì è cominciato il lungo inseguimento, 8 km da nord a sud della città, da via Farini a via di Ripamonti, all'angolo con via Quaranta, l'auto dei carabinieri si è avvicinata la moto, l'affianca e la moto finisce contro il marciapiede e si schianta su un muretto. Ramy morirà qualche ora dopo al Policlinico di Milano. Aveva perso il casco durante l'inseguimento. I Carabinieri gli hanno trovato 1.000 € -  ma sarà vero? - una catenina d'oro spezzata della sua fidanzata, un coltello a serramanico e una bomboletta al peperoncino.

Non c'è alcun dubbio tra gli amici di Ramy, tra i ragazzi della zona: l'auto dei carabinieri ha colpito la moto e l'ha fatto cadere. Ci sono testimoni che hanno visto e hanno fatto un video e se ne cercano altri. La rabbia è scoppiata subito fuori dal Policlinico dove sono accorrsi i familiari e qualche amico. Poi i ragazzi si sono ritrovati nel pomeriggio di domenica all'angolo di strada dove è avvenuto l'incidente per ricordare il loro amico con fuochi d'artificio, con uno striscione con la scritta “verità per Ramy”, un presidio che è sbordato in mezzo alla strada. E qui un suv non si è fermato, ha investito i giovani, quattro sono finiti all'ospedale, il più grave è un ragazzo di 14 anni con una frattura scomposta di bacino e femore e anche una ragazzina si è trovata con una possibile frattura al femore. I ragazzi erano di età bassissima. Mai a Milano si erano viste manifestazioni coi giovani di 11/12/13 anni, arrivati da soli in un quartiere diverso da quelli in cui vivono. La notte tra lunedì e martedì è scoppiata la rivolta, la rabbia, dove Ramy viveva e dove vivono i suoi amici. Due notti di proteste, di scontri con la polizia. Il ragazzo con i suoi amici si ritrovano spesso all'angolo tra via dei Cinquecento e via dei Panigarola, strade frequentate sempre da ragazzini.

Molti non riescono ad andare a scuola, non hanno lavori regolari. Tutti dicono che si sentono di vivere come in un ghetto. A Corvetto la gentrificazione ha fatto il resto, ha spinto da nord, dall'ex scalo di Porta Romana dove è in costruzione il villaggio olimpico, dove stanno spuntando nuovi palazzi per ricchi, mentre gli amici di Ramy e le loro famiglie abitano nelle case popolari dimenticate dell’ente

Durante los últimos 10 meses, las regiones tribales del centro y este de la India han sido testigos de ataques genocidas sin precedentes en nombre de la Operación Kagaar y la Operación Clean. El Estado indio está en guerra, no con algunas fuerzas externas, sino con su propio pueblo desde hace más de dos décadas. En la actualidad, según las clases dominantes, esta guerra ha alcanzado su «fase final y decisiva». La región de Maad ha sido el hogar de la tribu Madia mucho antes de que existiera un país llamado India. Según la Constitución india, la tribu madia pertenece a la categoría PVTG (Grupo Tribal Especialmente Vulnerable). En esta vasta franja, rodeada de colinas, densos bosques y ríos perennes, la gente vive en asentamientos dispersos con una pequeña población humana. Este pueblo vive en completa armonía con la naturaleza y practica el método de cultivo de roza y quema desde hace generaciones. Desde hace más de una década, el Estado indio está muy ansioso por tomar esta vasta región bajo su control para establecer un campo de maniobras del ejército.

Ce 25 novembre, la place Taksim d’Istanbul a été placée sous un important dispositif policier suite à l’interdiction de manifester et de scander le slogan « Jin, jiyan, azadî » (Femmes, vie, liberté) à l’occasion de la Journée internationale pour l’élimination de la violence à l’égard des femmes. Malgré l’interdiction, les organisations féministes se sont rassemblées à 19 heures. Les forces de l’ordre avaient bloqué toutes les rues adjacentes, plusieurs femmes ont tenté de marcher vers la place Tünel, elles ont été dispersées et repoussées, plusieurs d’entre elles ont été appréhendées. Des groupes de manifestantes se sont alors dirigés vers le littoral pour se rassembler sur les quais en scandant des slogans en kurde, environ 200 femmes ont été arrêtées par les forces de sécurité.

Ao contrário do que se afirma muitas vezes nos jornais e demais mídia, na Palestina nom há umha guerra entre religions nem tampou se trata dumha guerra entre dous países. Em Palestina e no Líbano estamos vendo um processo de colonizaçom. A colonizaçom da Palestina é (como todas as colonizaçons), o processo de substituiçom da populaçom indígena por uns colonos de origem europeia ou pessoas americanas mas que os seus antepassados eram europeios. A descriminaçom dos indígenas na legislaçom, os crimes contra os indígenas por parte dos setores mais agressivos e organizados em grupos paramilitares ou, a criaçom de guetos e reservas para indígenas; som todas características comuns em qualquer colonizaçom.

O povo palestiniano nas atuais circunstâncias só lhe queda a opçom da guerra de libertaçom nacional. E resulta que como sabemos as pessoas comunistas, quando se trata dumha colônia todas as classes sociais estám objetivamente interessados na independência nacional. Os únicos que nom estam objetivamente interessados na libertaçom nacional dumha colônia som os setores da burguesia “burocrático compradora”  porque nestes casos, os seus privilégios dependem de postos no aparelho administrativo colaboracionista com o opressor ou tamém, porque som setores que se adicam a monopolizar mediante a corrupçom a importaçom e exportaçom de produtos para os “indígenas”. Estes setores colaboracionistas com o colonialismo na Palestina formam a Autoridade Nacional Palestiniana.

A sociedade palestiniana está-se a enfrentar a um processo de colonizaçom. Esta é umha realidade objetiva na que um fator externo (o colono, o militar do Estado sionista, a polícia), som o instrumento da colonizaçom dos Estados Unidos da América e dos seus aliados OTAN-UE. O sionismo nom só é um instrumento do Estado Colonial de Israel. O sionismo é o instrumento de colonizaçom de certos setores da burguesia dos países da OTAN e UE. Esta realidade social é a que nos obriga a reclamar a descolonizaçom da Palestina. Por isto mesmo, nom tem sentido falar de dous estados. Falar de um estado para o colono e um estado para o indígena é contribuir no processo de criaçom de “reservas índias” nas que fechar a todos os indígenas que nom som usados como operários polos colonos.

Frente a aparência de que o sionismo é um lobby que domina a política estadunidense, está a realidade de que os políticos, os jornais, a mídia, o movimento sionista e a administraçom das colônias (na Palestina ocupada é o Estado de Israel e nas “reservas indígenas” a Autoridade Nacional Palestina); todos estes nom som mais que serventes da burguesia estadunidense e em menor medida, tamém som serventes da burguesia dos aliados dos Estados Unidos.

Se atualmente no mundo temos um caso claro de colonizaçom dum povo a grande escala esse é Palestina. Ademais o desejo da OTAN seria a colonizaçom do Líbano e de toda costa mediterrânea entre Egito e Turquia (Palestina, Líbano e a costa Síria).

Na Palestina podemos ver como os guerrilheiros populares combatem ao Estado sionista. Estes guerrilheiros pertencem a organizaçons como FPLP, Hamas, Jihad Islâmica Palestina, etc. Neste momento todas estas guerrilhas e partidos tenhem umha prática que é objetivamente revolucionária. Mas isto nom nos deve fazer esquecer que na Palestina há organizaçons como a FPLP que som particularmente revolucionárias. Tamém temos que diferenciar que no Líbano está Hezbollah, um partido islâmico que tem um caráter consequentemente democrático, por isto quer um estado libanês no que vivam todas as pessoas sem ser descriminadas pola sua religiom e sem que o estado poda obrigar às pessoas a seguir umhas determinadas normas religiosas. Esta é evidentemente a postura de Hezbollah, nom a postura de Hamas (que inclusive chegou a apoiar o salafismo de Al-Nusrah em Síria), nem é tampouco a postura de Irám. Que pretendemos dizer com isto? Primeiro que em Palestina há organizaçons revolucionárias por qualidades próprias. Segundo que no Líbano, frente aos repetidos intentos do sionismo para ocupar e colonizar o Líbano, surgiu neste país um movimento religioso mas consequentemente democrático, que merece a nossa admiraçom porque agora e no passado tem sido a coluna vertebral da luita de libertaçom nacional. Terceiro que em Palestina devido precisamente à sua situaçom colonial, há setores que sendo representantes da burguesia e da pequena burguesia, ademais tendo um caráter conservador, clerical e tendo um passado de relacionamento com setores ultra reacionários em Síria, estám tendo umha prática conjunturalmente revolucionária.

Condemn the witch-hunting of anti-imperialist activists and Trade Union leaders by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and other state and central police agencies at the behest of brahmanic hindutva fascism and mining corporations.

Release all political prisoners immediately.

The Central Committee of CPI (Maoist) condemns in strong words the arrests of social activists and raids on their houses by the fascist state machinery-NIA, which is infamously known for its notorious means and other central and state police agencies. To prosecute well-known people's centric writer, Arundhati Roy in 14 years old case is highly condemnable. In the past few months, particularly after the Lok Sabha elections the NDA government under the leadership of Hindutva RSS- BJP has unleashed a new wave of attacks on the democratic and revolutionary forces Trade Union and mass leaders. In fact, this has intensified with the commencement of genocidal war on the indigenous people of central and eastern India in the name of "Operation Kagaar".

      On September 3, 2024, the NIA conducted a series of raids in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh. It has impacted 35 adivasi people in a fabricated case of having links with CPI (Maoist). Among those charged is Lakma Korram, leader of the Maad Bachao Manch. Earlier they have arrested Com. Surju Tekam, a well-known tribal leader in May, 2024. The organization is a democratic organization that follows the Indian constitution and works for the rights of the adivasi people in Maad region.

     On 5 September, 2024, NIA abducted labour rights activist Anirudh Rajan while he was traveling from Bangalore to Chennai to meet his family friend. He was booked under draconian UAPA on dubious charges of fundraising for CPI (Maoist). The allegations are completely false and is a cooked story by the Indian state to target Anirudh Rajan for his efforts for the rights of the working class. He has played an instrumental role in the organizing workers in Manesar under the banner of the Manesar General Mazdoor Sangh. Along with Anirudh Rajan, Ajay Kumar was also booked under UAPA for having links with the CPI (Maoist). He is All-India Convenor of Visthapan Virodhi Janvikas Andolan (VVJVA), which has turned to be a grass-root platform for anti-mining, anti-displacement and people-centric development model across the country. Advocate Ajay Kumar is working for people since more than last 20 years. His illegal arrest by the Indian state is a clear sign of intensification of the repression on the movements that firmly stand against corporatization and militarization.

On 19 September, 2024 Com. Karthik Naik, a mass leader who was leading a struggle against the multinational corporate house Vedanta's bauxite mining in South Odisha was arrested from Kashipur of Raygada district by the Police. The region of Kashipur of Raygada district and Thummal Rampur of Kalahandi district are largely inhabited by adivasis and dalits which comes under the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution. The region has large reserves of bauxite in the mountains. But the Indian state leashed the bauxite reserves of Sijimali and Kutturumali of Raygada district to Vedanta and Adani group, respectively. The villagers of the region are being heroically and unitedly resisting the proposed mining activities in the region. To crush the anti-mining mass movement, the Odisha government which has a tribal chief minister, at the behest of the mining company arrested Com. Karthik Naik. He is a member of Maa Maati Maali Surakhya Manch, organization steering the anti-mining protests.

In the early hours of 1st October, 2024 in Kolkata the NIA conducted raids on the homes of about 11 mass movement, trade union activists, journalists, student leaders and human rights activists for having association with the CPI (Maoist) which is completely a figment of mind. It was a joint-operation by the NIA and the STF, the special anti-Maoist wing of the West Bengal government.

FRUTTO PIU’ MARCIO DEL SISTEMA DEL CAPITALE 

DA ROVESCIARE CON LA LOTTA RIVOLUZIONARIA 

Se una delle cartine di tornasole per giudicare il grado di civiltà di una società è quella della condizione delle donne dobbiamo dire oggi, purtroppo, che non si può più parlare solo di inciviltà, ma possiamo veramente parlare di barbarie in questo sistema sociale capitalista e imperialista, siamo di fronte a forme di vera e propria bestialità nei confronti appunto della maggioranza delle donne. 

Questo l'abbiamo visto in tutto questo anno a livello nazionale e soprattutto a livello internazionale, basti guardare alla Palestina dove le donne in particolare subiscono proprio in maniera atroce una condizione di oppressione e di violenza che rappresenta oggi il cuore dell'oppressione fino in fondo che subiscono le donne ma che trasformano il loro immenso dolore in resistenza e lotta. 

La guerra imperialista, dall’Ucraina a tutti i paesi martoriati dalla guerra per le donne significa subire doppia, tripla violenza, sofferenza; fino ad arrivare ai paesi imperialisti dove avanza un processo reazionario in marcia verso il moderno fascismo.

In un paese imperialista come l'Italia la condizione delle donne si aggrava ogni giorno di più non solo da un punto di vista economico, con i vari provvedimenti governativi che colpiscono sempre di più la condizione di lavoro/non lavoro delle donne, ma anche da un punto di vista ideologico e politico che in particolare con l’attuale governo Meloni si trasforma per le donne in un moderno medioevo, con l’attacco al cuore dei diritti, il diritto di aborto e di libertà di scelta delle donne, e le continue campagne ideologiche di stampo fascista sul ruolo delle donne che deve essere vincolato principalmente alla procreazione dei figli. 

Ma la borghesia non può dare nessuna soluzione a quelli che sono i reali problemi dei proletari, della classe operaia e specificatamente della maggioranza delle donne, con il cuore delle donne proletarie più sfruttate e oppresse. Non ci sono soluzioni che la borghesia può dare, una borghesia che si è oggi vestita da donna, ma non è il fatto di essere donne, ma la classe sociale a cui si appartiene che stabilisce quali interessi si portano avanti e verso chi. 

Solo in questo ultimo anno siamo a quasi 100 donne uccise, i femminicidi purtroppo sono inevitabili in questa società, le false soluzioni della borghesia, vedi il codice rosso di stampo essenzialmente repressivo e di controllo sociale sulle donne, non hanno ridotto né risolto la piaga sociale dei femminicidi, della violenza, degli stupri, le donne continuano a essere uccise, denunciano ma sono uccise lo stesso da quella famiglia che così tanto piace alla Meloni, al suo governo! 

I femminicidi, gli stupri, le violenze, sono uno dei più marci prodotti di questo sistema sociale in cui viviamo, che in primis ideologicamente sparge ogni giorno sempre di più modelli reazionari, sessisti, maschilisti che si manifestano poi concretamente dall’alto attraverso le istituzioni, i rappresentanti dei governi con tutti gli apparati di potere (dai tribunali alla forze repressive dalla polizia agli eserciti) fino ad ogni ambito sovastrutturale (la scuola, i mass media ecc), modelli che vengono inevitabilmente introiettati poi a livello di massa da uomini, da giovani perfino da ragazzini, vedi l’atroce femminicidio di Aurora di appena 13 anni, che si sentono legittimati ad ostentare/esercitare violenza e sopraffazione contro le donne. 

E nella fase attuale che stiamo vivendo, in cui il governo attuale è un governo di ideologia fascio-sessista, costituito da personaggi fascisti che, a partire dalla Meloni, ai La Russa, Salvini di turno, mentre mettono in campo politiche in cui ogni giorno attaccano, peggiorano sempre più le condizioni di vita e di lavoro di milioni di donne, da cui oggettivamente scaturiscono forme di subordinazione e di dipendenza delle donne, di oppressione (vedi la mancanza di indipendenza economica quando le donne non hanno un lavoro o lo perdono il lavoro, o sono costrette a lasciarlo perché devono accollarsi pienamente il lavoro di cura dei figli/famiglia scaricato di fatto sulla maggioranza delle donne , in primis proletarie, da questo Stato borghese), nello stesso tempo mettono in atto una sempre più pressante campagna ideologica contro le donne, quelle che “non hanno le testa sulle spalle” e che pertanto se la cercano la violenza, secondo la concezione della Meloni, per cui le donne sono socialmente utili solo se fanno figli italiani per il loro marcio sistema sociale al servizio del Capitale e oggi sempre più della guerra imperialista. Mentre si difende chi fa violenza sulle donne come il La Russa di turno ha fatto senza alcun indugio verso il figlio stupratore. 

Tutto questo è parte del moderno fascismo che avanza e che per le donne significa moderno medioevo che avanza, all’interno della fase attuale del sistema capitalista e imperialista in crisi.

Ma tutto questo mostra ancora una volta, ancora di più, che noi donne non possiamo continuare a subire, ma innanzitutto dobbiamo ribellarci a questo stato di cose. 

Noi donne che abbiamo doppie ragioni per ribellarci e lottare, ragioni di classe e ragioni di oppressione sessuale, dobbiamo prendere coscienza che la nostra lotta non può che essere rivoluzionaria perché è una lotta che deve mettere in discussione a 360° questo sistema capitalista e imperialista che fa della doppia pressione delle donne una delle sue basi cardine. 

Oggi è sempre più necessario che le donne, le proletarie, le lavoratrici, le operaie, le giovani ribelli impugnino la lotta rivoluzionaria rendendo viva e agente la parola d’ordine scatenare la ribellione, la furia delle donne come forza poderosa per la rivoluzione, affinchè le donne non solo mettano in campo la lotta contro gli attacchi immediati ma acquistino anche la consapevolezza della necessità della lotta rivoluzionaria. 

Prendiamo ad esempio la questione della scuola, ci fa orrore l’ipocrisia squallida di personaggi fascisti come il ministro Valditara verso le scuole in cui in cui in occasione del 25 novembre si esorta per una volta all'anno di fare iniziative sul tema della condizione delle donne, della violenza sulle donne, quando per tutti gli altri giorni la normalità è quella di una scuola che sta diventando sempre più luogo di propaganda delle idee alla "Dio, patria, famiglia", una scuola dove si dà sempre più campo libero alle lezioni delle forze armate, dell'esercito sui "valori" della guerra e del militarismo o a poliziotti che insegnano ora anche come si usano i manganelli contro chi manifesta (come è successo in un liceo a Genova), una scuola, quindi, che di fatto inculca nei ragazzi soprattutto uno spirito di sopraffazione, di machismo che verso le ragazze significa, inevitabilmente, idee, pratiche sessiste, fasciste, di possesso, una scuola in cui per 364 giorno non si contrastano, al momento, concezioni, atteggiamenti maschilisti, che pur ci sono tra gli studenti verso le ragazze e che per un giorno dovrebbe ipocritamente essere strumento di "educazione"? 

Contro questa scuola bisogna lottare! Una scuola inevitabilmente specchio di questo sistema sociale sempre più brutale, oppressivo, i cui gli attuali rappresentanti di governo, delle Istituzioni, sono le persone più pregne di stili di vita, di sub cultura, di concezioni e uso reazionari delle donne, un esempio vivente di che società orribile ci stanno propinando. 

Questo sistema è marcio, da un lato fa apparire alle donne. ragazze una falsa "emancipazione", "libertà", attraverso social, Tv spazzatura, dall'altro propaganda, modernizzandole, concezioni patriarcaliste sulla famiglia, sui rapporti uomo/donna, sul ruolo delle donne, ancora più pericolose oggi in clima di moderno fascismo, che portano ragazzi, mariti, compagni a ritenere giustificate le reazioni di gelosia, di proprietà sulle donne e le donne, le ragazze ad accettare, subire, come espressione di amore quelle reazioni fino a che non decidono di rompere quei legami violenti, finchè non si ribellano e per questo sono uccise, offese, gravemente lese, stalkerizzate, molestate. 

Certamente dobbiamo portare ovunque come donne la nostra voce, denuncia e lotta, certamente dobbiamo lottare per conquistare misure immediate, dai posti di lavoro alle scuole ai diversi ambiti, di contrasto alla violenza sulle donne in tutte le forme, ma illudersi che il governo attuale moderno fascista, mandante istituzionale ideologico e politico della condizione di sempre più oppressione e violenza sulle donne, "protegga e difenda le donne" è fuorviante e deviante in merito alla lotta sempre più urgente che noi donne oggi siamo chiamate a mettere in campo, che non può che essere necessariamente proiettata verso una prospettiva più ampia, rivoluzionaria, che deve combattere ad ampio raggio l’attuale sistema sociale, che è la vera e profonda causa della condizione di oppressione e di violenza delle donne e che per questo deve essere distrutto. 

E oggi è sempre più necessario un movimento femminista proletario rivoluzionario che è sì un’organizzazione ma è anche una concezione e una prassi che nasce ed è frutto di un'analisi concreta della condizione concreta della maggioranza delle donne e dell’esperienza rivoluzionaria storica che abbiamo accumulato in termini di bilancio in questo paese e a livello internazionale, che significa che deve avanzare la consapevolezza da parte delle donne della prospettiva rivoluzionaria, perchè proprio la condizione della maggioranza delle donne dimostra l’inconciliabilità della lotta delle donne con il riformismo e con una logica di solo miglioramento/abbellimento di questa società marcia fino alle sue radici, ma che pone anche la questione che come donne non ci possiamo tirare indietro dalla responsabilità, necessità di essere parte determinante del processo di costruzione degli strumenti necessari che ci servono per la lotta rivoluzionaria, in primis il partito rivoluzionario della classe sfruttata e oppressa, di cui la maggioranza delle donne sfruttate e oppresse è e deve essere uno dei cuori pulsanti.

Let us give revolutionary salute to leader of the people's movement, poet, intellectual, writer and lecturer of Delhi University Prof. Dr. G.N. Saibaba.

 
Revolutionary people's movement leader, social activist, well-wisher of indigenous people, and professor of Delhi University Dr. Gokarkonda Naga Saibaba was kidnapped, booked in several foisted cases, incarcerated for 10 years in inhuman conditions in 'Anda' cell of the Indian prison by the brahmanic hindutva fascist regime. The wild beast in the human form- the officers of the Indian prison houses- were ordered by the hindutva fascist state to not provide required facilities and health services given to physically-handicapped people as per the international provisions and Indian jail manuals. Due to incarceration in Anda cell for long duration, Dr. Saibaba got affected with several serious
health complications. 

After his release as innocent, Saibaba took his last breath on 12 October, 2024. The brahmanic
hindutva fascist state, repressive laws under which Saibaba was charged, and the judiciary that sentenced Saibaba tolife-imprisonment are solely responsible for the untimely demise of Dr. Saibaba. 

The death of Saibaba is not simply a death. In fact it is an well-organized brutal murder of Saibaba by the brahmanic hindutva fascist state. He was 57 years old. His selfless services to India's oppressed people and oppressed social communities, his work for democratic movements, his firm belief in the goal of fundamental change of society, and his consciousness for sacrifice shown during his inhuman incarceration 10 years period, the central committee of CPI (Maoist), while upholding all these
efforts and contributions of Dr. GN Saibaba bow its head and pays revolutionary homage to him. 

It expresses its solidarity to his wife Com. Vasanta, daughter Com. Manjeera, friends in the country and across the world, professors of universities, students, staff, and the lawyers who worked day and night for his release, and all organizations that carried out mass campaigns for his release. It gives call to all those people who stood with Saibaba to work for what Saibaba stood for till his last breath.
Professor GN Saibaba was born in the erstwhile East Godavari District, Amalapuram village of Andhra Pradesh in a poor peasant family in oppressed community. Being affected with polio, he was 90 per cent physically-handicapped at the age of 5. He always used to crawl on ground or used to be on wheelchair. He topped in his graduation in Konaseema Banoji Ramsar (SKBR) college. Afterwards, he completed his MA in English from University of Hyderabad. After that he did his Ph. D in 'Indian writing in English and Nation making: Reading the Discipline'. Before his arrest, Saibaba worked as lecturer of English for long-time at Ramlal college at Delhi University.
The ruling classes of our country started implementing intensively in 90's imperialist policies of liberalization-globalization-privatization. Immediately, All India People's Revolutionary Resistance Forum (AIPRF) was formed by several democratic and revolutionary organizations to oppose and build movements against imperialist-MNCs, comprador bourgeois and feudal landlords. Working with the leadership of this organization, working with several
progressive and democratic intellectuals, with their support and participation, Comrade Saibaba worked right fromthe first day of the organization for more than one decade. He gave valuable contributions to bring out the organization's magazine by being part of its editorial board, releasing press-statements and interviews. Dr Saibaba played a key role in organizing international seminar on Nationality Question at Delhi in 1996 under the banner of AIPRF. For the demand of the Telangana state, the people of that region launched second-phase of the movement in which the demand for a democratic Telangana was raised and 'Warangal Declaration' was released. Saibaba was one of the speakers in the meeting. In 2004 in Mumbai in direct opposite to World Social Forum (WSF), with more than 310 progressive, democratic and revolutionary political organizations leadership Saibaba worked to successfully organize 'Mumbai Resistance 2004' and afterwards, in the formation of People's Democratic Forum of India (PDFI) with several mass organizations, Saibaba played a prominent role. He was a representative of AIPRF in 'International League of People's Struggles' (ILPS). First AIPRF and then in the leadership of Revolutionary Democratic Front (RDF), several workshops, seminars and meetings were organized on hindutva fascism, Nationality Question, State-violence, dalit and workers' problems and afterwards in the formation of 'Anti-Displacement and people's development movement' (VVJVA), Saibaba played a gargantuan role. For these programs and organizations,he wrote many articles and statements. 

In the formation of RDF and later on giving leadership to it for a decade, Saibaba's contributions are immense. In the movements organized by RDF across the country, seminars and several
meetings, Saibaba's role was crucial. The Indian ruling classes deployed central armed police forces and several state armed forces and launched severe repression on the people's movement and the masses. In this background, several anti-revolutionary white-terror campaigns were launched for example, 'Salwajudum' in Dandakaryana, 'Sendra' in Jharkhand, 'Harmad Vaahini' in West Bengal and 'Peace March' in Odisha. Then Comrade Saibaba along with democratic, progressive organizations, intellectuals, students and with their support raised voice against it and launched movements in the country and in many other parts of the world. When the Indian state launched operation "Green Hunt" in 2009 with ill-conceived thought to eliminate the democratic revolutionary movement from thecountry then Saibaba was one of the voices against it. At the same time, he was one amongst many who stood in the
support of Lalgarh people's resistance and played a crucial role in building movements in support of it. 

He gave hisvaluable contributions to the movements across the country in 1990 and 2000. As RDF was the center of several movements across the country, the Andhra Pradesh government banned it in Aug, 2012. Whereas along with several state governments, the central government banned RDF all over the country.
Following the order of the central government of the Indian state, the National Investigating Agency (NIA) inMay 2014, booked fabricated charges under draconian Maharashtra State laws, UAPA and several other repressive provisions of the Indian law on Prof Saibaba, two democratic organizations leaders from Delhi, and three adivasi people from Gadchilori and Bastar for having links with CPI (Maoist). By denying bails on number of occasions, the Indian state planned to kill 90 percent physically-handicapped Saibaba inside the jail. Due to hard labour by his lawyers, and movements build for his release by several democratic organizations, students, intellectuals, writers and his deteriorating health, he was granted bail in June 2015 by the Mumbai High Court. But in December 2015, he was again sent to jail. 90 per cent physically-challenged Saibaba who was confined to wheelchair was perceived as a threat to
the India's security by the Judiciary. Again, he came out in April 2016 when the Supreme Court granted bail to him. In spite of not having proper evidences, in May 2017, Gadchilori district court held Saibaba and 6 others as guilty under UAPA. One was sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment and rest of them were sentenced to life-imprisonment.
Among them, one of the adivasi person Com. Pandu Naroti lost his life because he failed to get proper medicaltreatment for Swine flu.

 For the release of Prof. Saibaba and other co-accused, the central committee of CPI (Maoist)
gave a call for a country-wide strike on 29 March, 2017. On 30 April 2020, the United Nations OHCHR related one special panel appealed Indian state to immediate release of Saibaba on the ground of his deteriorating health conditions. But the Mumbai High Court rejected the petition for bail on medical grounds for 45 days on 28 July 2020. When his 74 years old mother passed away due to cancer, Saibaba was not even granted permission to participate in her funeral. He began indefinite hunger-strike for the removal of CCTV camera installed in his toilet. He took his strike back on 22 October, 2020 when the CCTV camera were removed from his toilet. On 14 October, 2022 the Mumbai High Court declared Saibaba and other 5 persons as innocents as there were no evidences against them and gave order
for their release. It also turned down the Gadchilori district court judgement of life-imprisonment. But the Supreme Court gave stay order on the decision of the Mumbai High Court on the appeal of Maharashtra state. It ordered the Mumbai High Court to re-think its judgement. At last, the false evidences couldn't stand and the Mumbai High Court released Saibaba and other 5 persons on 7 March 2024. Along with him other persons were released as innocents from jail after spending 10 years of rigorous imprisonment.

After coming out from jail he gave several interviews to media channels and journalists, where he stated how jails destroys human values. He also stated that the Constitution of India is not valued in the jails of India, atrocities are more in jails than in the outside world, caste discriminations are rampant, even in the jail manual it is written that work should be given in jail according to the castes of the prisoners, to protest against all these injustices in jails apart from hunger-strike there is no other way. He also stated it is vital to give support from the outside to the struggling
people in the jails. He pointed out that the underworld dons and most of the bourgeoisie political leaders who come to jail get bails and are quickly released, whereas the leaders of the democratic movement find extremely difficult to get even bails. He said that in Maharashtra jail he was affected from Paralysis that severely affected his lungs, not only this, he was struggling from 21 types of new health ailments. He stated that raising voice against operation green hunt and repression on the indigenous people along with democratic organizations were the reasons for which he was kidnapped from Delhi, brought to Gadchilori court and sent to jail in a fabricated case. He also brought to notice that he was even booked in the Bhima Koeregaon case when he was inside the jail. His anger is justified when he pointed out that in jails the inmates are physically and mentally tortured. He narrated how he was pushed in the Anda cell
where a normal human being cannot live. He was even denied to see her mother's dead body on her funerals. To the media he pointed out that in spite of whatever circumstances, he will continue to work for the oppressed people as human rights activist and as a teacher.
In Telangana press meet, while expressing his gratitude he stated that, it was the land of Telangana that
developed him as a human being, from the people's movement in Telangana he was taught and became aware, He stated that it was from here (Telangana) he got encouragement to fight against operation green hunt. He further stated that all those who struggled day and night for his release in the country and abroad was inspiration for him that made him to fight against the Indian state inside the jail.
When police arrested him on 14 May 2014, supporters of hindutva fascist in the University suspended him
from his job and in April 2021 he was removed from his job. When he was released from jail as innocent, several professors raised the demand to reinstate Saibaba to his former job.

Comrade Saibaba's movements life is ideal. He was a good friend to his colleagues and a teacher to his
students. His entire behavior in the movements was full of spirit and courageous. In spite of suffering from 90 per cent physically-disability, it could not become hurdle for him in his private life and in the people's movements. He wrote several writings by getting inspired from great poets Gurujada Apparao, Sri Sri and the Kenyan poet Ngugi Wa Thiong'o.
His first Telugu writing was published in 'Srujana' magazine. His jail poems that pins hope for a better future was published in a book form.

The untimely demise of Comrade Saibaba is a great loss for the oppressed people, oppressed social
communities, people of distinct nationality, democratic movements in the country and abroad. He laboriously workedfor the revolutionary democratic people's movement from 1990s. Apart from his family members, his friends,students, and organizations gave full support to him. His power to face severe repression was derived from his struggle for the oppressed people. The work that he has done for the oppressed people and for the qualitative change in society by putting all his mental and physical potential will always remain an ideal for democratic, progressive, and revolutionary forces. He was a true leader of genuine democracy, dalit and oppressed people, freedom and social justice. 

At a time when the brahmanic hindutva fascist regime has unleashed "operation kagar" on the people's
movement, especially in the central and eastern India with the aim to eliminate the Maoist party that is giving leadership to those movements the sudden demise of Comrade Saibaba is a great loss for the people's movement. But the courage shown by him will always encourage the democratic movements for the rights of the oppressed people.

The Central Committee of CPI (Maoist) appeals to all democratic, progressive, secular, patriotic, revolutionary forces and organizations to get inspire from Comrade Saibaba and intensify and spread the democratic movements across the country.

against G20 - Brazil - Na “Capital do G20”, a educação toma as ruas

No dia 19/11, ocorreu o ato dos profissionais da educação, convocado pelo o Sindicato dos Profissionais da Educação do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (SEPE-RJ) em meio ao criminoso G20. A manifestação contou com centenas de trabalhadores, estudantes e professores. Mesmo com ostensiva repressão, a manifestação caminhou de laranjeiras até o CIEP, localizado na Glória.  O ato é expressão de uma das respostas dos trabalhadores da educação contra a atual investida da precarização da educação, promovida em menos de 2 meses, pelo governo reacionário e recém reeleito de Eduardo Paes.  

No dia 12/11, o SEPE-RJ, aprovou em uma assembleia geral, com mais de 2000 professores, uma greve, para iniciar no dia 25/11. A greve é uma contundente resposta dos professores ao Projeto de Lei Complementar (PLC) 186/2024, que irá aumentar o tempo de hora aula de 50 minutos para 1 hora, obrigando os professores a darem mais aulas sem receber, tendo que “compensar” para ganhar o mesmo salário. Além disso, segundo o próprio sindicato a PL “acaba com a licença especial de todos os servidores; coloca em risco o formato atual das férias da educação, entre outros.”.

Durante o ato, a Polícia Militar (PM) em conjunto com a Guarda Municipal, com aparato repressivo desmedidamente ostensivo seguiu e reprimiu os manifestantes do início até o fim. Estavam presentes, no mínimo 10 viaturas da PM no local. No início do ato, impediram que o carro de som saísse pelas ruas. Mais tarde, tentaram impedir que o próprio ato saísse, e frustrados com insistência da manifestação, os policiais cercaram o protesto além de rasgarem a faixa da nossa organização com os dizeres “G20 Mata, Palestina Resiste! Rebelar-se é Justo”. Mesmo com tal desmobilização da PM, o ato seguiu entoando palavras de ordem como: “Que contradição, tem dinheiro pro G20 mas não têm pra Educação!”.

É importante notar que do dia 14/11 até o dia 21/11 o estado do Rio de Janeiro está sob a Garantia de Lei e da Ordem (GLO), uma lei que sobreviveu a ditadura militar e dá temporariamente o controle militar de uma área ao exército. Sobre isso é curioso notar como o Rio de Janeiro reforça militarmente boa parte da cidade, fecha 5 estações de metrô, muda o funcionamento da cidade por alguns dias, gastando mais de 140 milhões, apenas para garantir o encontro e a segurança dos representantes do imperialismo. Enquanto que, para o povo que vive na cidade, não se faz um mínimo esforço para melhorar suas vidas, pelo contrário, cada vez mais aumenta a repressão contra as favelas do RJ, a educação é cada vez mais precarizada, o desemprego aumenta e os serviços públicos, como sistema de saúde, cada vez mais sucateados. Ironicamente, a mesma cidade que abastece a PM com fuzis de empresa Israelense, é aquela que sedia o evento mundial do G20, do qual uma das discussões é a resolução “pacífica” do Genocídio Palestino.

US-Marcos regime prioritizes military task force “Ayungin” amid successive typhoons devastating local communities

November 21, 2024 The National Democratic Front of the Philippines International Office (NDFP IO) condemns the US government’s creation of their so-called “Ayungin Task Force”, aiming to enhance military interoperability between US and Philippine forces in the South China Sea, at a time when thousands of Filipinos are suffering from the devastating impacts of consecutive typhoons. While the US government justifies this move as part of ongoing military cooperation under the Mutual Defense Board-Security Engagement Board (MDB-SEB) and the Bantay Dagat framework, it is clear that the real priority of the US is to further its imperialist interests in the region, rather than addressing the urgent humanitarian crisis that has unfolded in many parts of Luzon in the past few months. Putting US forces in Ayungin intensifies tensions between China and the Philippines with the latter obviously being used as a US pawn to provoke Chinese armed response. The creation of a military task force focused on military operations in the Ayungin shoal serves the US imperialist agenda and puts the Filipino masses at risk of destruction greater than that wrought by any supertyphoon. The NDFP IO stands in solidarity with the Filipino people who continue to bear the brunt of successive disasters exacerbated by climate change and the inept response of the Marcos Jr. government. While thousands of Filipinos are left to suffer in the aftermath of six typhoons that hit the country in a month, the US government prioritizes military buildup in the South China Sea, showing a shocking disregard for the urgent humanitarian needs of the Filipino people. Thousands of Filipinos are still reeling from the devastation, with entire communities displaced, lives lost, and essential infrastructure destroyed. Despite the dire needs of affected communities, the US-Marcos regime continues to invest in military escalation instead of urgently directing resources toward humanitarian aid and disaster response. More troubling is how the US, in collusion with the Marcos Jr. administration, has been using “disaster response” as a pretext to justify continued combat operations in Albay and many other places across the country. The NDFP IO calls on the Filipino people to reject this dangerous focus on military cooperation with the US and instead demand immediate compensation and aid for the victims of typhoons and flooding. The Filipino people deserve to have their needs prioritized – shelter, food, healthcare, and genuine support for their recovery – not to be further subjected to geopolitical maneuvers in the midst of devastation and calamity.

Let us oppose the involvement of the Indian Army in the ongoing genocidal war in the name of Operation Kagaar

Dear Friends and Comrades,

For the last 10 months, the tribal regions of Central and Eastern India have been witnessing an unprecedented genocidal attacks in the name of Operation Kagaar and Operation Clean. The Indian state is with war, not with some external forces but with its own people since more than two decades. At present, according to the ruling classes, this
war has reached its "final and decisive stage". The Maad region has been home to the Madia tribe long before therewas a country called India. According to the Indian constitution, Madia tribe comes under the PVTG (ParticularVulnerable Tribal Group) category. In this vast swathe, surrounded with hills, dense forest, and perennial rivers, people are living here in dispersed village settlements with small human population. This people are living in complete harmony with nature and practicing slash and burning cultivation method since generations. The Indian state is veryeager to take over this vast region under its control to establish army maneuvering range since last more than a decade. 

With the objective of eliminating the CPI (Maoist) Party by March 2026, the central government under the
leadership of Hindutva BJP has taken very disastrous decision to establish immediately the army maneuvering range in the Maad region. For this purpose, it has asked the people to vacate their villages and forest for the army's services.
The CPI (Maoist) condemns in strong words the nefarious and fascist design of the BJP government to establishment army maneuvering range in the Maad region and appeals the pro- people and democratic forces to oppose this decision of the government.
The central government has decided to establish a maneuvering range of the Indian army in the Maad region of Narayanpur district of Chattisgarh. For this, a survey of 54, 543 hectares of land between Sonpur and Garpa villages in Maad is going on railroads. In the same manner, the revenue department officials are doing survey of the people's property, who are strongly opposing it. Right from 2011, efforts for setting up army training camp in the revolutionary movement area are continuing. But it could not materialize till now due to the massive people's militant movement against such design.

 It is important to note that the Indian State in its war on people has been using the Indian army
against the revolutionary movement and the Maoist Party in several disguised forms, since more than two decades.
Apart from the Indian army, the usage of Indian Air force (IAF) and its services are being widely used by the Indian State for its war on people. The special forces like Garud, belonging to IAF and NSG (National Security Guards) are being deployed to fight against the PLGA and the revolutionary people. The revolutionary movement areas today resemble as one of the highest militarized place on the planet. More than 6 lakh of para-military personnel are on grounds waging an unjust war. Particularly in Bastar region the ratio of armed personnel to people is 9 to 1.
The ongoing military operations are creating white terror in the minds and hearts of the revolutionary people.It will be not wrong to say that "democracy" in India is practised by the ruling classes at gun-point. Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV) manufactured in US and Israel are also being used on a vast scale. They are not only used for surveillance and reconnaissance purposes but also for aerial bombings on tribal hamlets and revolutionary guerilla camps in central and eastern regions of India. There are also the involvement of DRDO (Defence Research and DevelopmentOrganization) and ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) in the fight against the revolutionary movement under the leadership of CPI(Maoist).
