Nepal - Celebratory message on the occasion of 24th Anniversary of the ‘Glorious Peoples War Day-13 February’

Comrades, workers and oppressed masses of people of the world!

Our glorious party, The Communist Party of Nepal would like to take opportunity On the occasion of 24^th Anniversary of the initiation of great people's war on this day 13 February 1996, our revolutionary party based on Marxiam-Leninism-Maoism, would like to extend our Revolutionary greetings to all the revolutionary people, the oppressed masses of people and to those all people who are fighting for liberation, independence and revolution.

Let us take privilege to flash back the history of revolutionary son and daughters of Nepal, their beloved party and chronological steps toward transformation.  In 1994, Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist)  took a bold step to embark on armed struggle  and initiated People’s war marking 13 February 1996 to establish a New Democratic Socialist system  by overthrowing the feudal, imperialist guided, inequality, exploitation and oppression against workers, farmers, women, minorities and youth.

The CPN-M formed massive People’s Army in the process of leading a People's War  against the oppressor anarchy and revisionist, so called bourgeois parliamentary system. Party successfully took control over 80% of the geography, established parallel ‘People’s Government’ under the communist Party of Nepal (CPN-M). Nearly 9,000 brave comrades sacrificed their life and thousands of cadre and revolutionary people made disappeared by so called democratic government.

In 2006, the than party leaders took strategic shift to join multi-party collaboration and way out to land ‘People’s War’ through submissive alliance with anti revolutionary parties, CPN-M joined people’s peaceful movement, following peace accord and constitutional assembly. That led People’s Revolution to the compromising end and ‘Parchanda’ led party entered in bourgeois parliamentary vicious cycle and trap, limiting and leaving essence of the oppressed class and their original dream.

In leadership of General Secretary Comrade- NetraBikram Chand ‘Biplov,’ four years ago, Revolutionary Nepalese people started re-organizing and transforming Party to establish ‘Scientific Socialism’ through Unified People’s Revolution’. With firmed determination, our party has unified the nation and oppressed, exploited and forgotten revolutionary power of the people to overthrow domestic compradors serving socio   economic capitalists and external post-imperialist systematically dominating the sovereignty of the Nepalese people.

On this great historical occasion, ‘People’s War Day- 13 February’ our party would like to share this glory with the revolutionary people of the world. The Communist Party of Nepal mark this day as a day of solidarity and day of gratitude to thousands of Martyred whose dreams are continue with the revolutionary spirit in twenty first century’s world against all form of post imperialism.
