India - We will not stop the struggle, we will raise the flag of struggle even higher – Sikasa statement

We will not stop the struggle, we will raise the flag of struggle even higher – Sikasa statement

How many more years, masked heroes… Your Menshevik conspiracies… To the beloved revolutionary ranks, democrats, people…
People in India have been struggling for hundreds of years to end the classes in this society, for a society free from caste discrimination, domination, and exploitation. These struggles have been continued and protests have been held in many forms. It may be by tying cloths to the face, it may be with black flags, it may be village boycotts, it may be work stoppages for exploiters, workers may be production stoppages, many legal efforts are being made. Only in the end do people impose severe punishments on public servants. This is a historical truth.
Protests and bandhs in Singareni have been continuing in many forms of struggle since the early days of Singareni. The siren of movements in Singareni has been blaring since the time of the Jagityala Jaitrayatra, which started with the slogan "Banchan Dora… Kalmokta Dora… No more" (No more) since the inception of Sikasa in 1982, the labor movement has been a model for all coal mine movements in India. The workers were able to achieve many results due to the protests for drinking water, education, medical and housing facilities. They fought tirelessly, enduring many types of restrictions implemented by the state. They transformed economic struggles into political struggles. Many efforts were made for environmental protection. About 36 people who supported the struggles organized by Sikasa donated blood.
As true as it is, "A mother without pain does not give birth to a child" is, it has become a fact in the lives of Singareni workers that rights cannot be achieved without struggles and sacrifices. "Mantras do not bring sorrows" is a world-known truth. But those who are obsessed with Manuwad do not accept the above statement.
Venugopal is not unaware of the history of the struggles of the Singareni workers, and now he is trying to distort those facts with a perverse mind and show history upside down.
He is slipping from Marxism to the theory of karma. He is slowly gathering a group to put into practice the regressive ideas that have been brewing in him for the past year. He has used one or two people like Jinugu Narasimha Reddy as his agents and has worked like a honey-coated sword. He has tried to hinder the progress of the Indian revolution by mocking the sacrifices of the martyrs and providing support to the “Muhurtas of Manuwads”. He has abandoned the method of resolving ideological discussions, strategic and political issues in a centralized democratic manner and has raised the language of the rulers, who are the agents of the exploiters. He is doing this according to a plan to create chaos in the Maoist party, in the revolutionary ranks, among the democrats, and ultimately among the people.
Revolutionaries who make endless sacrifices never hesitate to change their strategy and tactics according to the needs of the time. Sikasa only believes that the theory of karma preached by the Manuwadis in the name of the situation of the time is not useful for the progress of the revolution. Sikasa continues legal and democratic struggles with the goal of a society free from exploitation of labor. It moves forward in all forms of struggle with the opinions of the majority of workers to solve the problems of the workers.
“Defeat is like the mother of victory”. There is a change of place in movements and struggles, but there is no “astra sannyas”. All this is not unknown to Venugopal, it is not something that he has not taught, it is not something that he has not written about in a few pages. Like a patient of Pachakamarla, he is now talking completely the opposite… he is creating chaos… even though he knows that this theory he is saying is not valid.
On behalf of Sikasa, we once again declare that we will continue the legacy of the red flag struggle that began with the blood of the Chicago martyrs and move forward in the pursuit of workers' rights. If there is any respect for the sacrifices of the martyrs, we appeal to you to abandon wrong ideas and policies. You, who are becoming an obstacle to the progress of the Indian revolutionary movement and are committing betrayal, are at least betraying Amma Madhuramma by forgetting your will that you declared with a vow.
Ashok Secretary Singareni Karmika Samakhya (C.K.S)
