We consider this year's statement to be a step in the right direction in comparison with past statements, especially in terms of content. We especially agree with the call for an International Communist Forum as a step in the direction of a reconstituted Communist International, as well as with the emphasis on the revolution in all countries essentially meaning revolutionary war, no matter whether it takes the form of class war, people's war, or national-revolutionary war.
We think that the paragraph beginning with «Only the construction of the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist Communist Party» should have read «Only the constitution, reconstitution, and construction of the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist Communist Party».
We think that the passage mentioning «a constant struggle against revisionism and ‹leftism›» should have read «a constant struggle against revisionism and dogmato-revisionism». In our opinion, the dogmato-revisionism, splits, and intrigues and conspiracies of the ‹International Communist League› are the main danger to the struggle for the reunification of the international communist movement today, and they can only be defeated if our movement practises Marxism, unites, and is open and aboveboard. Therefore, we think that it should be made clear that a «unitary International Communist Forum» and the reunification of the international communist movement cannot include the members of the ‹International Communist League›, which has the same nature as Bakunin's International Alliance of Socialist Democracy or Trotskij's Fourth International, since it operates as a bloc with its own centralist structure, rules, and discipline separate from the international communist movement in general.
We think that the passage reading «The main instrument for making revolution is the revolutionary party» should have read «The most important instrument for making revolution is the revolutionary party».
We think that it is a shame that the Communist Party of India (Maoist) have not yet added their signature to the statement. This obviously indicates the problems faced by our Indian comrades and proves that it is more necessary than ever for the international communist movement to support the Indian revolution and to unite and not split."
Please receive our warmest communist greetings,
