Israeli raids and settler attacks intensified across the occupied West Bank as Palestinian resistance groups documented 19 operations in two days.

Key Developments

  • Palestinian groups documented 19 resistance operations across the occupied West Bank over the past 48 hours.
  • Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale arrest campaign, detaining several Palestinians, including five women and a 72-year-old journalist.
  • Israeli military raids, road closures and settler attacks continued across multiple governorates, further escalating tensions.

Resistance Operations Spread across West Bank

According to the Palestinian Information Center Ma’ta, Palestinian resistance fighters carried out 19 operations against Israeli occupation forces and illegal Israeli Jewish settlers over the past 48 hours amid escalating Israeli military raids and settler violence across the occupied West Bank.

The operations included 12 field confrontations, five incidents in which residents repelled settler attacks, and two demonstrations held in Al-Bireh and Nablus.

Clashes erupted in Al-Ram and Hizma in occupied Jerusalem, while residents confronted illegal settlers in Hizma. Similar confrontations were reported in al-Mughayyir, Deir Abu Mash’al, Beitunia, Beit Furik, Awarta, al-Hara’iq, Qalqilya, and Arab al-Rashayda, where three settlers were reportedly injured after residents repelled a settler attack.

The latest developments come as confrontations continue to spread alongside repeated Israeli incursions and growing settler attacks targeting Palestinian communities and property.

The Palestinian resistance has carried out 19 operations against Israeli forces in just 48 hours at the beginning of this week across the West Bank. These actions included 12 field confrontations, five clashes in which residents repelled settler attacks, and two demonstrations held in Al-Bireh and Nablus.

These actions by the resistance take place amid relentless Israeli military raids, road blocks, arbitrary arrests, and escalating settler attacks. In a wide-scale detention campaign, Israeli forces arrested numerous Palestinians—including a 72-year-old journalist. Israeli forces also imposed harsh restrictions on movement, with road closures and military checkpoints.

The resistance has not only confronted Israeli soldiers but also repelled settler assaults, injuring several settlers in self-defense. During the month of June, the Palestinian Information Center documented a total of 248 acts of resistance in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, resulting in 26 casualties to Israeli forces.

Israeli Forces Intensify Detention Campaign

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale raid campaign across several West Bank governorates, concentrating operations in Hebron (Al-Khalil), Nablus, and Bethlehem, where multiple Palestinians were arrested.

In Ramallah, Israeli occupation forces detained two women, Jamila Dahou and Jamila Kanaan.

In Hebron, Israeli troops detained seven Palestinians, including 66-year-old Ataf Mohammad Radwan Bader, Dr. Wadih Mahmoud al-Barbarawi, Amer Hamdi al-Jabreeni, Waseem Saeed Zalloum, Abdullah Shukri al-Junaidi, and drivers Yazan Yousef al-Faroukh and Iyad Hamed al-Mutawwar after stopping their vehicle near Beit Einun.

Israeli soldiers also raided homes, seized a vehicle and children’s toys from one residence, and established military checkpoints while closing roads with iron gates, concrete blocks and earth mounds.

Women, Journalist among Detainees

In Nablus, Israeli occupation forces detained Maysar al-Faqih and Faten Hanaysheh, confiscating Hanaysheh’s computer during the raid on her home. Troops also stormed Kafr Qalil, searching homes and seizing money from one residence.

In Bethlehem, Israeli occupation forces arrested 72-year-old journalist Hassan Mahmoud Abdel Jawad al-Faraj and Adham Jamal Ibrahim Faraj after raiding Dheisheh refugee camp.

Israeli occupation forces simultaneously tightened movement restrictions by closing the main entrances to villages south of Bethlehem, including Marah Rabah and al-Manshiyya, further restricting movement between Bethlehem and Hebron.
