Nepal - for Basavaraj

The cowardly murder of 27 comrades, including the General Secretary Comrade Nambala Keshav Rao,
‘Basavaraj’, of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) by the Indian State on May 21, 2025, in Narayanpur,
the bordering area of Chhattisgarh and Telangana States, has outraged our party. We strongly condemn this
fascist act of the Modi government and offer our emotional homage and proletarian internationalist salute to
Comrade Basavaraj and other comrades, who attained martyrdom in this murder. Also, our party strongly
condemns the extremely intolerant and fascist statement that “our government is committed to eliminating
the menace of Maoism”, made public by Indian Prime Minister Modi. At this distressful moment, we
express our deepest condolences to the Central Committee of the CPI (Maoist), all party members, the
People's Liberation Guerrilla Army, the Indian proletariat, and the broad revolutionary masses, including
their bereaved family members. We express our strong solidarity with the CPI (Maoist) in continuing to
advance the revolutionary process of defending, applying and developing the world communist movement
and its guiding ideology, Marxism-Leninism-Maoism.
