We have to be dangerous
The attack on women's conditions is all-around. This is why we cannot fight to change just a few aspects of our condition of double oppression and exploitation. It would be like trying to empty the sea with a spoon, while the flood goes on...
All governments have always been against women, but the current one, with scums like Salvini, Nordio, Piantedosi, Valditara, Roccella, Bongiorno, and so on, legitimizes and claims the attacks, making them its foundation, they are fully integrated and in line with the fascist/fundamentalist ideology/politics: "God, Homeland and Family."
This government commits one every day. The campaign on birth rates, which has shown all the various facets of the capitalist system come together in the "General States for Natality" -the masters, the finance, the Church, the military hierarchies, etc.- to say that women must have children because the masters need fresh albourerss, because there's a war and Italy too, like Israel, Trump, Russia, will send men to war.
The "Cutro Decree" was adopted, after
the deaths at sea of dozens of children and women, announced by the
outrageous Meloni's march to Cutro, where she showed her contempt for
the parents mourning their children. Then came the "Caivano
Decree," whose response was simply more police, instead of
addressing the serious social problems of girls, minors, and families
victims of violence. Then further decrees, including those on
femicides, that have always put repression as the only solution,
exalting the role of law enforcement, of this criminal, violent,
sexist police force. Then laws to keep mothers in prison along with
their children. Then the various repressive measures to hit the
struggle in support of Palestine, against the imperialist wars, to
suppress the struggle for jobs, housing. Then the obscene measures on
schools, with which they try to use even sexual-emotional education
not to do anything useful, but to prevent students girls from freely
making decisions, to impose on them the role of the family, to
dictate what and how should be spoken about in schools. And, finally,
the Bongiorno bill, which favors rapists and brings furthers violence
on the raped women in the courts.
For all this, and much more, a fascist government of this kind makes it impossible to envision any change that isn't the fruit of an effective struggle. We need more then ever a struggle aimed to overthrow this government first, while also looking ahead and working to overthrow the entire rotten, fascist, racist capitalist system that make war-against the world's peoples, where the first victims are women and children, first and foremost in Palestine, where genocide is still ongoing, in Ukraine, and now in Iran. Meloni, as Trump's servant, is providing extensive support.
We need a revolution, nothing less than a revolution, in which women are at the forefront, with an "extra gear" to change not only the "earth" but also the "sky."
This is why we must be "dangerous" to the masters, the government, the men who hate women. We can't just defend ourselves, we must attack. Until we are not dangerous, we cannot truly change the situation!
Because it is not that ideas that can liberate us, not the "left-wing" parliamentarians who can help our struggles, but it is the revolution of the oppressed, of doubly oppressed women, in the countries oppressed by imperialism as in our capitalist citadels, that makes history.
This cannot be just a slogan, but a practice, a political action, a firm theoretical conception that no deception or illusion by petty-bourgeois feminists, by intellectuals who took side by class: the side of anti-history, can hide or deviate.
We cannot approach from the superstructure, from the "education," an issue that has solid and increasingly dark structural foundations. If we don't attack these foundations, which concern the family, work, discrimination, femicide/rape, repression, etc, if we don't destroy this rotten and dying capitalist/imperialist system, we will not change the disgusting culture that is fed to us in the mass media, at school, on TV, on social media, etc.
Even when we talk about "patriarchy", we say that it is true that it exists but, beware, to talk only about "patriarchy," which is certainly used by this system, must not mean that we need to fight patriarchy and not overthrow the current system.
There was a writer woman who said: “… there is something entirely new in the femicide and violence against women today (certainly women have been killed and raped in the past, but today the motivation is different, it's new - ed.) because what is new is the freedom that women demand, and to which men must get used, and rejoice, if they're capable, or resign themselves if nothing else, and too often they don't get used to it, nor do they resign themselves, and they take revenge. They are not old-fashioned men; they are very modern ancient men, mortified, frustrated by women's freedom, who feel that as a theft of their own freedom, their property over women...”
This means "modern Middle Ages," it means "modern fascism." And we must fight fascism with a new Resistance, with new partisan women.
