we showed a banner in
front of the Turkish Embassy and
the Ministry
of Defence, against
ISIS and
imperialism.

But Italy is not a
democracy with people’s full sovereignty, as the government and the
City of Rome claimed during the official celebrations on the occasion
of World Day Against Violence on Women!
In fact, "democracy,
people's sovereignty" finishes at Via Palestro 28, address of
the Turkish Embassy, where the interests of Turkey and Italian
imperialism start. Here several Italian soldiers, under the command
of Turkish agents came out of the embassy, tried to stop and
identified us, took a photo of our banner and then called also the
police (led by a sergeant who served for years in Turkey) to identify
us again and force us to delete the photos we had taken!
But "Fortune
favors the braves", and a bird knocked on our door with the
censored photo!

In the afternoon
we left the
“suspected guilty” banner in
Via Tiburtina,
near the university
area of San
Lorenzo.
Because ISIS is
violence against women and imperialism is its godfather and
accomplice!
Because the gender and
class oppression that ISIS pursues in the lands it occupies is
nothing but the most barbaric result of the capitalist society in its
highest stage: imperialism!
We are against this
system, against imperialism of the Caliphate and the Turkish State
that supports it, against Italian imperialism that has excellent
commercial, political and military relationships with Turkey, against
NATO, that has generated ISIS and whose crimes against humanity are
countless.
We stand with Kurdish
women, for the social revolution in Rojava, for the liberation of
women!
November 25th belongs
to us, to the women who rebel, to the sisters who fight against
femicide for an all-around change of the society and today are on the
side of the Kurdish women fighters!
