Statement: On the Intervention of American Imperialists in Tunisia (unofficial translation)

The American imperialists continue to interfere in Tunisian affairs, the latest of which is the statements of their foreign minister and their to be appointed ambassador  as their representative in Tunisia, following the popular referendum on the new constitution, furthermore they push for the normalization with  the Zionist entity under their auspices, in a blatant trampling of national sovereignty and liquidation of the Arab-Palestinian issue on the one hand, and complete domination of Tunisia by disposing of its internal and external affairs on the other hand.

They find in the local reaction represented by the July 24 front a tool that facilitates this, and it has been calling on them to intervene to force a return to before July 25 to continue the path of the false democratic transition. In connection with this, the Party of Elkadehines expresses the following:

First: Condemning the blatant US imperialist intervention in Tunisia

Second: To hold the July 24 Front responsible for all the consequences of that intervention

Third: Demanding the Tunisian state refuse to accept the new American ambassador

Fourth: Calling the Tunisian national forces to unite in the face of imperial arrogance, Zionist ambitions and local reactionaries.
