Following a call from the Urgent Campaign Committee Against Operation Kagaar, a demonstration was held on March 28th in Zurich, Switzerland, demanding an end to the attacks carried out by the Indian government. The demonstration began with a solidarity march for Palestine, followed by a procession emphasizing solidarity with Indian revolutionaries. Participants carried photographs of leaders of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the People’s Liberation Army, condemning the massacres perpetrated against this movement and the operations targeting the Adivasi people.
The activists raised their voices against the bombardments carried out in civilian areas by Operation Kagar, the forced displacement, the destruction of nature by mining companies, the executions, and the torture of prisoners, and demanded that these operations be ended immediately.
The action was supported among others by MLKP, TKP-ML, MKP, the Maoist Communist Party of Italy, Partizan, YDG, Young Struggle, Secours Rouge International, Revolutionärer Aufbau, and a number of other revolutionary organizations.
