Maoists torch a bus carrying supplies for SFs in Chhattisgarh
The Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres set ablaze a bus on May 30 carrying supplies for Security Forces (SFs) after asking passengers to get down near Dugaiguda village under Awapalli Police Station limits in Bijapur District, reports The Pioneer. The private bus was on its way to Basaguda from Jagdalpur, Bijapur Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Indira Kalyan Elesela informed. However, no harm to any passengers has been reported in the incident
Maoists kill ‘police informer’ in Khammam
Maoists allegedly killed a 30-year-old tribal youth dubbing him as a police informer in Unjupalli forest area of Charla mandal in Bhadrachalam division late on Saturday night. According to sources, the deceased has been identified as Kurusam Balakrishna, 30, of Lakshmipuram village in Venkatapuram mandal. Suspected rebels allegedly whisked away Kurusam Balakrishna into the forest area a few days ago and grilled him over his alleged role as police informer before killing him around Saturday midnight, sources added. The rebels reportedly dumped his body alongside a kutcha road leading to Pusuguppa village and left behind a poster in the name of CPI (Maoist) district committee at the spot in the early hours of Sunday. The rebels, through the poster, alleged that Balakrishna acted as a “police informer”.

One person abducted, 3 vehicles torched in Churchu
Suspected Leftwing ultras abducted one official of a construction company from Murki village of Churchu block on Saturday night and also set on fire three vehicles belonged to the Inder Gope Construction Company of Hazaribagh, which is engaging in construction work at two important inner roads of this Naxal prone block. Abducted person has been identified as Saroj Yadav and is the manager and a relative of the construction company owner Inder Gope, officials said.

According to sources, on Saturday night Yadav had to stay back in village Murki as the JCB of the company became inoperative suddenly. He was sleeping in
