A delegation led by Vipalava Rachayitala Sangham leader Varavara Rao
has called on leaders of all parties and urged them to include in their
poll manifestoes that they would lift ban on Maoist party.
Speaking to mediapersons after calling on TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao, Varavara Rao said since two states are going to be formed on June 2, we have made this request which is part of our charter of demands.
As no party has so far come forward with manifestoes, we wanted them to include this demand as well as the demand for lifting of ban on six peoples’ organisations.
