Greece - Imperialist Pressures push the SYRISA - ANEL government to full submission - KKEml

In only 20 minutes (so we don't waste time!) the Eurogroup of March 9^th 2015 defined the policy with which the imperialists – lenders of EU – ECB – IMF will supervise our country and the lives of the working people.

By tomorrow the program – memorandum will start to be evaluated, talks with imperialist “technical teams” will begin in Brussels, the economic data of the Greek policy will be checked, new measures for a balanced budget will be implemented, the government will refrain from “unilateral actions”, privatizations will continue, and new VAT hikes will follow along with slashes on social security.

Under the threat of financial asphyxiation the SYRISA - ANEL government takes another step towards compliance and submission to the imperialist demands, accepting on the one hand all the anti-labor and anti-popular context of previous governments, and on the other prepares to add new burdens on the working people, in order to continue the capital flow to the lenders and to keep in place the imperialist yoke.

The imperialist threats and blackmails cannot be dealt with by a government which at all times takes a vow to the imperialist EU and IMF and seeks “protection” in the imperialist US. The anti-imperialist cause is a people's cause who must immediately organize its struggle and not resign from the demands for bread – work – freedoms.

The recent developments mean a worsening for the living conditions of the workers and the youth, as new measures alongside old ones are being prepared against them.

The recent agreements in the Eurogroup show that the people's movement cannot wait. The imperialists, the local bourgeoisie and the government proceed with fast steps to a new “regularity” of poverty, unemployment, overtaxing, and leveling of the last remnants of social security.

The continuation of this nightmarish reality must not be accepted. It cannot be healed by laws against the so-called “humanitarian crisis”. The workers and the people must pave another road claiming their rights.
