Activists of the Marxist Leninist Party TKP/ML in Turkey have written a wall-writing in the name of their party's official newspaper Partizan, paying homage to Hidma on the walls of Istanbul.
"Despite the surrenders and betrayals, we will protect the people's war that the Indian people are continuing with our lives; we accept the struggle of the Maoist martyrs, especially the struggle of Comrade Hidma, as our own. We will always remember them with respect!" they wrote on the walls of the Turkish capital Istanbul.
Extensive propaganda and agitation activities were carried out in various parts of Istanbul in memory of the Maoist martyrs, including Hidma. Banners were displayed at various places;
The inscriptions on the walls read – “Hidma will live in our hearts. The people’s war is moving forward”, “Red salute to Hidma! Red salute to Hidma!”, “Hidma, the great revolutionary commander of India, is a martyr”, “Thousands of red salutes to all the martyred comrades including Hidma.” Hidma will live forever in the hearts and minds of all the oppressed people of India and the world.” They wrote on banners and walls.
