India Jail inmates observe fast on Shahid Diwas

Fifty out of 63 Maoist prisoners led by veteran Maoist leader Narayan Sanyal and Mokhtar Ahmad lodged in the high-security cell of Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Central Jail in Hazaribag on Sunday went on a fast to observe the “Shahid Diwas” in memory of Bhagat Singh, who was killed by the Britishers on this day . The jailor of the central jail said, “None of the fasting inmates had their breakfast and lunch and observed total fast to commemorate the martyrdom of Bhagat Singh inside the jail.”
